  Your WLC default is DHCP relay, you do not need to override.

  The WLAN configuration, put you in an interface. If you check this configuration of the interface, you will see that it points to a DHCP server. This is where your WLC relays to wireless clients.

  Sounds like what you really want is the name resolution with the DNS servers of your Windows domain.

  If your DHCP server is configured dynamically updated DNS, then you should be fine.  Another option would be to set up a reservation in DHCP for your ESX host and then add an entry in DNS for him.

  As requested just burst in to offer my opinion.  I think XP would be the best of those choices, simply because it was more oriented and consumers more likely to run these programs (possibly in compatibility mode). Although really for some, it might be the case that you need for Windows 95/98 to play, so ultimately it may require virtual box or something similar to get those running.
