To connect to the box of ubuntu via VPN via a server

I have a ubuntu box connected to a SBS2003 server. A VPN tunnel to the SBS2003 server, I see each machine connected to the network - including the Ubuntu machine. However, when I try to access the files on the machine of Ubuntu, VPN, I can't make a connection with it. I don't have this problem when I connected directly to the network while in the office - I can see the Ubuntu box and access files on this computer. Any ideas?

Any help is appreciated.

  • Disable a connection on the box

I was given a project to work at my part-time job for my campus. The project itself is a site for students involving mathematics, but I ran into a wall. I need help to disable a link on the site it takes directly to a file in the box. It is a problem because the file of the box has a download button, which means that students can download files from box. That's what I have to disable.DLBox.png

Unless you have a direct access to the file src iframe to app.box.com you can not disable anything.

If you do then you can remove the part of the code, you don't want to or hide it.

  • Remote Desktop connection: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit connects to the computer of Windows XP VPN

    Hi all

I am trying to establish remote desktop TO my new laptop (Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit) on my computer (Windows XP) work via a VPN. The VPN Client connects to my network to work with no problems, but when I try to use the remote desktop connection I get an error message:

Remote Desktop cannot connect to the remote computer to one of the following reasons:

    (1) remote access to the server is not enabled

    (2) the remote computer is disabled

    (3) the remote computer is not available on the network

Make sure that the remote computer is on and connected to the network, and remote access is enabled.

Items 1-3 are working well, so I guess that the problem is caused by another issue?
    I'd appreciate any help.
    Thank you

Thanks for your response Al. To answer your qus:
    (1) cisco VPN Client for 64 - bit.

    (2) I don't know how to ping through the VPN tunnel - I don't see this option, anywhere in the Cisco customer (I'm not a professional, just a user)
    (3) Yes. Also, I can connect to the host PC via my old laptop XP (xp) of fine House, just not my new laptop (Windows 7 Home Premium) so the problem must be with my new laptop rather than at the end of the host PC.

After that you connect through the VPN tunnel open a command window, IE. go in Start > run , then type cmdand type ping DRC-hostname or IP-address-DRC ping.

    Examples:

    Ping lou - pc

    ping 192.168.1.25

FWIW, I have a desktop computer home wireless Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64 bit on my LAN that connects fine to a XP Pro SP3 32-bit Wired test machine using [DRC] remote desktop. Now XP Pro SP3 DRC test machine is configured for a static IP address and I have manually configured the network mask, gateway, DNS resolves and made sure that NetBIOS over TCP/IP is enabled in the properties of the NETWORK Ethernet card on the test computer.

Just for fun, I checked the hashes of file for the file mstsc.exe on the Win 7 Home Premium 64-bit machine and a machine Win 7 Home Premium 32 bit I have and hashes were a bit different as the size of the files. • WET11 V2 cannot be connected to the AP (access point) via WiFi

    I am facing following problem.

Someone at - he advice me please how to solve these problems.

    Purpose:

    1. I want to use internet on TV Sony Bravia. (Bravia has no WiFI. "I have only LAN).

    Environment:

    1 access point (Router) - WiFi > WET11 V2 - LAN > TV (Sony Bravia).

    2. IP address 192.168.1.5 = WET11 (automatically not static)

BOF WET11 V2 assigned IP address access point.
I checked the access point access point IP attributed to WET11.

3 TV IP address is automatically.

But the IP address is unaffected for television.

    4 WET11 firmware version = V2.05 (Sep 16, 2003)

    Problem:

    1. IP address cannot be assigned for television.

2 WET11 is not the answer for the command 'ping 192.168.1.5' WiFi access point.

    3. I did ping command when the LAN TV cable has been replaced by the wireless access point LAN cable.

It is not advisable to use a 802. 11B wireless bridge on a device such as your streaming media TV. Connection will be very slow and is probably the reason why you have a hard time to connect to your wireless router that's more compatible with it. I suggest using a Wireless N bridge or a multimedia wireless on your TV adapter so that you can fully appreciate the media streaming.

  • Portege R500: unable to connect the remote DVI monitor via Dynadock

    Hello

I just connected Dynadock (DVI) with my Portege R500. The cell would be supported - according to Toshiba - but my experience confirms that Dynadock is not able to access the DVI ports. This implies, that Dynadock is nothing more than the USB HUB.

My setup: Vista 32 company b (CZE edition), the latest patches, Toshiba R500.

Software: latest dynadock software 2.3 c.

Symptom: I can't connect to the remote DVI monitor via the dynadock, there are only two external panels with 800 x 600, but Vista does not allow me to choose.

More information: software Dynadock requires to run without Microsoft Defender, otherwise it blocks the service: DisplayLinkService; file:C:\Program Files\DisplayLink base Software\DisplayLinkService.exe
If you turn off the MSDef, the "error 2738" message appears when you connect the dynadock and when Vista tries to install a missing drivers for you.
Yes, I know the VBS question and the problem is not caused by VisualBasic - VBS "Hello World" runs.

If you think always, Toshiba Dynadock is compatible with Toshiba R500, then press Fn + F5 and look at your logs and you should find something like:
In English: igfxext.exe throws an exception 0xc000000d, offset 0x0000f9f8.

I look forward to the comments, advice etc. If you are able to transmit this bug report to a responsible engineer, do please.

    Hello Leo

As far as I know, Toshiba has not designed for laptops models own only Dynadock and it can be used on every laptop or fixed. Because of this, I think that this statement about model of care is not so important for this problem.

Toshiba provides devices and software. To connect using the USB port, and these ports must each computer or laptop. I hope that you have installed the software by following the on-screen instructions (device of should not be connected to the start-up of the plant).

Is your Portege docked the host or you have connected Dynadock directly in Portege s USB port?

  • Dynadock U3.0 - unable to connect to the network

I have a U3.0 Dynadock and when you try to connect to the network at work via a network cable, the parameters were not detected automatically.
I then put manual details (IP), but this did not fix the problem.

I assigned by DHCP the Dynadock should get a certain IP address.
    I still have a problem.

In addition, when left on DHCP, subnet mask is 255.255.0.0 which is weird.

Has anyone else had trouble linking their Dynadock to their network?

I use a laptop another progress, running Windows 7, 64 bit.

    I found a solution.

update to the latest version of the software available at toshiba for the dynadock solves this problem.

software provided with the hardware is V6.1

to solve the problem, it is necessary to download the toshiba support website V6.2.

Also note, that windows 7 doesn't automatically recognize that this software update is available.

  • Photosmart 7510 will connect is the network (mac) wireless

Although already our Photosmart 7510 used to connect wirelessly to the network, it arrested recently, without a known cause. I've updated all the software. It is said on the printer that is connected to the network and print via usb cable but the computer says that it is not connected (or on any other laptops 3 mac at the office also connected to the network).

As I said, I've tried updating all software and have tried to delete the printer via reset printing system by following the instructions on a previous post. However I now can't add the printer as was then ordered.

    The software used is

    Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5

Any help would be great, printing via USB is such a pain!

    Thank you

    Hello

Try unplugging your router to power for 30 seconds, plug it back in and look for any change.

Also, try power cycling the printer.

If it persists, reset the network settings and reconnect it to your network, you can find steps planned in steps 3 and 4 below:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c02948582

So, you can try to reset the printing system and check to see if that can help you:

    * Be aware that reset the printer system will eliminate any existing queue and reset all custom settings driver.

Click on the Apple menu and then click on System Preferences.
    Select Print & Scan.
Right click (or Ctrl + click) your product with the Printers list in the left panel and then click on reset printing system.
Click OK to confirm the reset.
Type your user name and password.
Click OK. The printing system resets.

Try to add the printer by clicking on the sign more and check any change.

If none of the steps above does not help, have you changed anything lately? a new router, etc.

  • UCS connection to the existing network fabric

    Hello

I'm trying to get some new equipment:

2 - chassis with 4 blades of each

    2 6248UP

    1 - C240G - x 2 agile

    2 - 3750 x 10gig expansion.

Currently, I have 3750's in a battery and intend to add these new 3750's existing battery. Can I connect the 10 g on the 3750 x directly to the fabric of interconnection to bring my new equipment into my existing network?  I thought that this would be considered UCS Uplink Ethernet Ports.

The reason why I ask, I didn't know that I could not connect servers other than Cisco (IBM with 10 g cards) directly on the fabric and caused my second guess.

    Thank you.

    Hi mjensen

Fabric interconnection ports are 10 GB interfaces, then Yes, you can connect to the Cisco 3750 Switch via 10Gig ports.   The only thing you want to make sure is that when plug you these devices in transceivers for use based on both ends. If you want to know the list of radios supported on the UCS 6248 take a look at the link below.

You're right about UCSM you want to configure these ports Uplink Ethernet ports!

Now, the reason why you can not just plug another server ucs to the fabric of interconnection as you IBM server, because the interconnection of fabric does not work like a regular switch.   Only one UCS server can be managed via the GUI UCSM.

Please let me know if it helps.

  • Ability to connect to the web interface of C20 by using its IP address as password

    Good afternoon

One of our customers is trying all their C20 upgrade to version TC5.1.5 and have just accidentally managed to connect the console to web administration using the IP address of units such as password. Set the password also works!

They have tried this on one bunch of other C20 (owned by the same customer, and others) and can not repeat. These units, he tried are slightly different as far as the applied options are different. On the CODEC which fails, the options are 'Natural presenter' and 'High Resolution'. The others are 'Natural presenter' and 'high definition '.

While I don't see this making any probability, it seems to be the only obvious difference between nearly identical devices.

The revisions of software are the same on these CODECs (all currently on TC5.1.0.280662), but he also checked some other CODECs TC5.1.5 running.

The offending CODEC serial number is: F1AN10C00070

In addition to the quirkiness of security above, can we also check why this particular CODEC on the "High Resolution" option rather than the option "high definition"? (Maybe it's not your Department)

The customer believes that all the codecs if bought with the same specifications at the same time.

For you reference, the serial number of some of their other CODECs are: F1AN10C00105 and F1AN10C00275

    Thank you very much

    Luke

    Hi Luke,.

I think that the C20 is not a defined password. If no password is defined for the user "admin", you can type anything in the password field, as long as type you "admin" as the user.

    Then try this;

Connect to the codec with admin via the WebUI > in the upper right, you should see a drop down menu to "User: admin" > select "Change password" > let "Current password" as white > and type the new password in "New password" and "Repeat new password", then press "change password."

If you see 'Password successfully changed', you can be sure, there is no password for the admin user, and your new password would be the one password that would successfully connect you to.

    Hope this helps,

    Arne

  • connection from the host operating system

I'm running a Ubuntu Vmware image as a guest of Windows 7 computer host computer.  Is there a setting where I can connect to the instance of ubuntu from my Windows host? For example, I have a client sql on my desk that I want to be able to access mysql running on ubuntu. Is this possible?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Of course it is possible, it's not essentially different, so when you do the same thing between two physical machines, so act accordingly!

Assuming that you have correctly configured SQL Server and running, then make sure that the firewall on the host and the guest does not block connectivity.

  • OTP-S3100 is unable to connect to the server

I have a brand new BDP-S3100 connected to a Linksys E3000 router and I'm unable to watch videos or photos stored on my computer HARD drive. I installed and tried different servers (Plex, Serviio, etc.) and they are all listed in the menu photo or video, but sometimes they display the logo of the server and other times, it displays the default server logo. When Server oogo is displayed & it seems that it is connected, I click on it & the message - no playable file. But the I'm trying display formats are jpg and mpg - both DLNA-supported.

I can connect to the movies internet & streams via Amazon and other applications without any problem at all.

    Help!

    Anyone?

    Thanks in advance,

    Karyne

    Hi Karyne,

DB2 connector with detection of schema only supports DB2 LUW (Linux, Unix, and Windows). This was made clear in the latest documentation.

But you should be able to use the generic ADO.NET and IBM DB2 connector for i.NET provider to access the DB2 iSeries system database. You must write your own select queries and - if write support is neeeded - your own update script.
