  I am trying to establish remote desktop TO my new laptop (Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit) on my computer (Windows XP) work via a VPN. The VPN Client connects to my network to work with no problems, but when I try to use the remote desktop connection I get an error message:

  Remote Desktop cannot connect to the remote computer to one of the following reasons:

  (1) remote access to the server is not enabled

  (2) the remote computer is disabled

  (3) the remote computer is not available on the network

  Make sure that the remote computer is on and connected to the network, and remote access is enabled.

  Items 1-3 are working well, so I guess that the problem is caused by another issue?

  (1) cisco VPN Client for 64 - bit.

  (2) I don't know how to ping through the VPN tunnel - I don't see this option, anywhere in the Cisco customer (I'm not a professional, just a user)

  (3) Yes. Also, I can connect to the host PC via my old laptop XP (xp) of fine House, just not my new laptop (Windows 7 Home Premium) so the problem must be with my new laptop rather than at the end of the host PC.

  After that you connect through the VPN tunnel open a command window, IE. go in Start > run , then type cmdand type ping DRC-hostname or IP-address-DRC ping.

  FWIW, I have a desktop computer home wireless Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64 bit on my LAN that connects fine to a XP Pro SP3 32-bit Wired test machine using [DRC] remote desktop. Now XP Pro SP3 DRC test machine is configured for a static IP address and I have manually configured the network mask, gateway, DNS resolves and made sure that NetBIOS over TCP/IP is enabled in the properties of the NETWORK Ethernet card on the test computer.

  It is not advisable to use a 802. 11B wireless bridge on a device such as your streaming media TV. Connection will be very slow and is probably the reason why you have a hard time to connect to your wireless router that's more compatible with it. I suggest using a Wireless N bridge or a multimedia wireless on your TV adapter so that you can fully appreciate the media streaming.

  I just connected Dynadock (DVI) with my Portege R500. The cell would be supported - according to Toshiba - but my experience confirms that Dynadock is not able to access the DVI ports. This implies, that Dynadock is nothing more than the USB HUB.

  My setup: Vista 32 company b (CZE edition), the latest patches, Toshiba R500.

  Software: latest dynadock software 2.3 c.

  Symptom: I can't connect to the remote DVI monitor via the dynadock, there are only two external panels with 800 x 600, but Vista does not allow me to choose.

  More information: software Dynadock requires to run without Microsoft Defender, otherwise it blocks the service: DisplayLinkService; file:C:\Program Files\DisplayLink base Software\DisplayLinkService.exe

  Try unplugging your router to power for 30 seconds, plug it back in and look for any change.

  Also, try power cycling the printer.

  If it persists, reset the network settings and reconnect it to your network, you can find steps planned in steps 3 and 4 below:

  So, you can try to reset the printing system and check to see if that can help you:

  * Be aware that reset the printer system will eliminate any existing queue and reset all custom settings driver.

  Click on the Apple menu and then click on System Preferences.

  Type your user name and password.
  Click OK. The printing system resets.

  Try to add the printer by clicking on the sign more and check any change.

  2 - 3750 x 10gig expansion.

  Currently, I have 3750's in a battery and intend to add these new 3750's existing battery. Can I connect the 10 g on the 3750 x directly to the fabric of interconnection to bring my new equipment into my existing network?  I thought that this would be considered UCS Uplink Ethernet Ports.

  The reason why I ask, I didn't know that I could not connect servers other than Cisco (IBM with 10 g cards) directly on the fabric and caused my second guess.

  You're right about UCSM you want to configure these ports Uplink Ethernet ports!

  Now, the reason why you can not just plug another server ucs to the fabric of interconnection as you IBM server, because the interconnection of fabric does not work like a regular switch.   Only one UCS server can be managed via the GUI UCSM.

  One of our customers is trying all their C20 upgrade to version TC5.1.5 and have just accidentally managed to connect the console to web administration using the IP address of units such as password. Set the password also works!

  They have tried this on one bunch of other C20 (owned by the same customer, and others) and can not repeat. These units, he tried are slightly different as far as the applied options are different.   I think that the C20 is not a defined password. If no password is defined for the user "admin", you can type anything in the password field, as long as type you "admin" as the user.

  Then try this;

  Connect to the codec with admin via the WebUI > in the upper right, you should see a drop down menu to "User: admin" > select "Change password" > let "Current password" as white > and type the new password in "New password" and "Repeat new password", then press "change password."

  If you see 'Password successfully changed', you can be sure, there is no password for the admin user, and your new password would be the one password that would successfully connect you to.

When Server oogo is displayed & it seems that it is connected, I click on it & the message - no playable file. But the I'm trying display formats are jpg and mpg - both DLNA-supported.

  I can connect to the movies internet & streams via Amazon and other applications without any problem at all.

  Help!

• DB2 connection in the synchronization editor error

  I'm trying to configure a DB2 connection in the synchronization Editor. Even after I provide server, user name & password of the database is not editable:

  

  If I hit "Next", I get the following error, as the database is not specified:

  

  I tried the Extended mode, and specifying the values y. I go to the next screen, but get the following error in the screen "select partial patterns:

  

  I see several instances of the error is Windows Application logs (Event Viewer) from the synchronization Editor while I set up the connection. There are others where Pwd is replaced by Uid or Server:

  (Application 7.0 version 2015-08-23-009) The 'Pwd' property name is not recognized.

  Hi Karyne,

  DB2 connector with detection of schema only supports DB2 LUW (Linux, Unix, and Windows). This was made clear in the latest documentation.

  But you should be able to use the generic ADO.NET and IBM DB2 connector for i.NET provider to access the DB2 iSeries system database. You must write your own select queries and - if write support is neeeded - your own update script.

  I have a problem connecting to the internet store. I use a proxy server to take internet provided by the College. The apps store and the window connect to internet. Anyboby can help...?
