• Bass Treble tone control problem - Windows 7 64 bit

  Under control panel, Sound speakers and headphones properties, tab controls tone, the button apply is gray for my bass/treble settings which will reset to 4 whenever my PC restarts. I can't set the Bass/Treble levels constantly where I want what they (0-4 and Treble - low) because the button apply does not work. I have two identical models of this PC with the same problem - HP Pavilion dv6-7138us with Beats Audio. Apply the button can be fixed?   It appears there is an 'in progress' by HP by the following link solution, but it will be for HP to release a new SoftPaq (no Service Pack, I declare here) to solve the problem. That could take weeks or months. I'll post here if they do.

• Drop Shadow, tones, CS4 problems

  I am trying to create a logo 2 colours, using a Pantone black (100% K). The logo has a shadow in the dark. Shadow keeps showing up with CMYK separations even if I use 100% K.

  Any suggestions? I went from CS2 to CS4. I missed something along the way?

  Make sure that you are in Document Mode CMYK color. Check the color of the shadow to comfirm it's only 100% black.

• IdeaPad Yoga 13: start, stop, and touch screen problems

  Hi - I recently bought a Yoga 13 IdeaPad, and although I love the PC, I'm started having tons of problems with it. The computer now usually is blocked on startup and stop: choice of the option (from settings) closed generally won't hurt, and if to do this, it takes forever. Sometimes the power button stays on for 15 minutes after I turned off the computer, and the PC will not be restarted in this State. Yoga often does not start, just freezing on the start screen "Lenovo" flagged "Hourglass" of spinning. It took me several times and when it finally starts, the touchscreen is unresponsive for a while: I have to use the keyboard to drag it to the lock screen and log in. And while the PC has repeatedly sent in "automatic repair" after failing to start, repairs the problem.

  Someone at - it ideas? I'm at the edge of the fair return of Yoga, but I also love it and would love to keep it if these issues can be ironed out.

  There is a solution for the problem of update. It involves access in the application of msconfig and disable services left 3rd reactivation post update. Worked very well for me and many others. Search the forum for more details.

  I am trying to burn a DVD video disc of dvr - ms files, but I had tons of problems with DVD Maker included in Windows 7.

  I am burning 2 files dvr - ms to about 1.75 hours of video each (3.5hrs) total on a DVD + r double layer everything goes well when I slipped the creation of DVD files and previews work very well.

  DVD Maker encoding start quite well until ' he reached about 80% of the encoding, then suddenly goes to 99% encoding and said that "year error occurred when burning the DVD.   Go I love Windows 7 but DVD Maker from Microsoft really needs a rejuvenation treatment technical for coding and the combustion process. It shouldn't be so complicated that burn a dvr - ms to DVD file, seriously.

  EDIT: It worked when converting dvr - ms to avi files, but now I'm getting burning problems. DVD Maker says "Please enter another recordable DVD" to a disc after burning (because he has got more capacity?), and 2 other discs have their last chapters not readable. • RV042 routing problem

  I try to use the rv042 as a primary internet connection and also as a VPN failover for my primary private WAN connection.

  I have a load balancer / failover device, called a Fiberlogic, which acts as the main router to network my office remotely.  This device shows you all the traffic to my private network go to junction A and all Internet traffic going to the B connection (connection B is the rv042).  If the fiberlogic sees this connection is down, it will send the connection B's private network traffic.  The RV042 has a VPN setup, I tested it and it works.

  However, I have one VERY difficult to get the RV042 to act as our internet gateway.  The RV042 is in mode "gateway."  Devices plugged into it directly (or via an external switch) work very well.  The RV042 LAN is 10.2.254.0/24, and he est.1.  FiberLogic est.254.  The main network is 10.2.0.0/24 (and the FiberLogic.1.  The FiberLogic road all traffic to the internet (and for failover) of 10.2.254.1.  I have install a static route for the RV042 road 10.2.0.0/24 to 10.2.254.254.

  Once again, peripheral not behind the fine work of fiberlogic (i.e. on the 10.2.254.0/24 subnet that use the RV042 as gateway).  UT behind the fiberlogic devices fail.

  RV042 Rv082 and RV016 router can be configured for additional NAT networks who are sitting behind the LAN.

  1. log on to the router

  2. go in the configuration Page

  3. roughly halfway down the page, there are article that says "several Setting subnet.

  5. Enter the network number and subnet mask, then click 'Add to list' for example network: 192.168.200.0 mask subnet: 255.255.255.0

  6. click on save changes

  8. the checkbox in Multiple subnet must be checked and the second network to be coordinated should be

• Help! Export problems

  OK, back to the Fireworks need help big time. I have a completed prototype, I am trying to export to a job site. I get that Fireworks is not the best exporter in regards to more complicated designs, but I am somewhat at a loss about what to do. I tried making a div tag and just throw it in there, I tried it split the div tags that meet. My main problem, according to me, is that I have so many images over the Tower, when I cut things they above the knees and who made a ton of problems. I have the bottom 'text' like roll overs with effects and I need those to export itself. The black placeholder is for flash content. So my questions are, what is the best way to export a design as it does not have a lot of symmetrical drawing or clear cut content space. My other pages lose things bloomed and use flash for the content space. I need images for export and layer correctly, (the tree must be above the flash content, how do I do this without sliceing on top) I need the background to be positioned just flowers, but obviously I can't just cut into slices or I have a nice pretty useless Web page that does nothing! I need my menu to the function button. So it's a lot of questions, but as I said, I tried a combination of everything that I can think of, exporting to different stages, etc., which apparently does not work very well. I'd appreciate any help anyone has for me a LOT. Thank you.

  

  You can't put the tree on top flash content no matter what software you use. Files Flash always always place self help at the top of the stack. Duplication of the images does not work either. This isn't a limitation of fireworks. This is a limitation of the design for the web.  It decide as I did here, that's all what you can do with the design as it is better.

  The data on my phone is an example: it took my familyname as my name as a phonenr. And my phone number as an email address. So far I've found the manual update as a solution. It would be less painful to set on a desk somehow...

  In my case, it did not recognize same contacts on my SIM card.

  If you have contacts in vcard format, with export/backup to memory card on an old phone, or under sync your desktop and exported from there, you can use vcardin on the market to import vcards from a memory card.

  The phone still has tons of problems/bugs related to contacts; You cannot batch delete, for example. Many of these issues are already fixed in newer versions of Firefox OS, and others are included in the road map.

  For now, this solution took my 800 + contacts more or less correctly loaded.

  I have a Toshiba A200 series, I had so many problems and still have tons of problems with it, but I'll start with the most important of them that my hard drive is almost full. My lap Top is supposed to have 2 142 GB hard drives. In computer graphics where I normally get my hard drives, but I don't see that a single hard drive, my second disappeared at some point, but never noticed that my original hard drive only got to capacity recently.

  I have looked everywhere for this 'thing' and can't seem to find it to access. and as my first hard disk is almost full I fight with dowloads and General daily activities on my beloved toshiba.

  If anyone knows of such a problem and could help a brother that he will be most appreciated:

• 10-FC06-0002 - HARD drive recovery disc error load XP and Windows 7 very well

  OK, so I have a Toshiba laptop I want to restore because I had used it for school and he had a lot of things about what I didn't need and turned slowly. Rather than take things one by one, I thought it would be better to start from scratch. I jumped in the recovery discs, I created, restarted the computer and booted from the DVD. I have chosen all the settings to restore the computer to out-of-the-box settings and a time window that says «copy files please wait...» "After that the screen disappeared after 10 minutes or so, another window flashes on the screen for a split second (has not yet the chance to see what it was) and then an error window pops up error 10-FC06-0002. The only thing I can do is shut down my computer, and it does not start after that. After trying several times, I decided to come here.

Well, I'm looking, and all the results told me to "make a copy of your drive and see if it works, if not its your HARD drive ' tried to make an exact copy of the disk using a tool to copy DVD of Google, no dice. I tried copy the files from the disc on the desktop on disk, did not work. Copied files on an old thumb drive and booted from it. The same problem. Make one. ISO disk image and it has burned, triggered the error as well. No matter how I try to run the restore files, the same error message prevails. This would point to the hard drive being broken, correct? This is where I get lost, Windows XP installs flawlessly and works faster that any other computer I used it, as well as Windows 7 beta does.

  I created these recovery disks about a week after the computer is turned on for the first time. The only software on the subject was the preloaded software, Mozilla Firefox, and MSN Messenger. These two programs would have caused corrupted recovery discs to bring?

  EDIT: Should probably tell you some info on the laptop. It is a Toshiba A200 - AH6, try to restore Windows Vista recovery disks created in the Toshiba Recovery Manager.

  To me it sounds like it's your Toshiba Recovery disk is noisy or something else. It seems that the disc can't be read properly.
  I doubt that s a hardware issue because you tried a XP and Windows 7 disk successfully.
  But as Akuma says that this can happen also due a poor quality DVD media.

  In any case, I think you need to order a new drive Toshiba Recovery directly.

  Finally and above all the software that you have installed (Firefox and MSN) didn t cause corrupted recovery disk. Theoretically, you can install what you want before you create the recovery disk. The recovery disk creator burning a disc bootable with the files in the folder HDDrecovery on the second partition. All programs that you have installed must be installed after recovery again.

• HP Envy 4500 - Scan does not, most periodic freezing

  I'm having a ton of problems with my HP Envy 4500. I will first start by scanning. First to get the "No found computer" message when you try to scan (I can print fine however). I tried HP Print & Scan doctor, he said I was not fully installed the driver. So I download the file ~ 100 MB, then it passes through basic facilities, then allows you to "Connect to printer", I'm wireless and enter the IP address (which is connected and Excellent report) and about 10 seconds later, he says: "cannot find the printer. My only options are the search, the installation program and cancel. Therefore, I can never get to install and he sends me in a loop. I also file & Printer sharing turned on with Windows 8.1, with the automatic configuration of network devices.

  Since the end of the printer, I've tried manual and automatic IP and also directly connect without a bit of luck. In addition to these frustrations adds the printer freeze about every 10-15 minutes. I have to disconnect and reconnect the printer for it to work again because it is totally insensitive.

  Finally, my printer indicates an update is available, so I download a driver, but it ends with the OXB82EF9BA error code. All crashes again.
