• sudden error "too many listeners on GPIB.

  Out of the blue, I'm suddenly in the face of this "too many listeners on the GPIB" error, and my PC has found is more all instruments in NOR-MAX. I have a GPIB-USB-HS connected to my PC and 8 instruments (some HP4142b, Keithley instruments, electricity, etc.), Garland with different GPIB cables... I was able to control them in LabVIEW and summer don't saw no problem with it for months.

  Then yesterday, LabVIEW (I have 2012) suddenly hung when I tried to access one instruments (which went in the State "is not responding"). He could see to the recovery, is no longer one of my instruments GPIB on the menu drop down. I rebooted LabVIEW, but still the same thing... could no longer see my GPIB instruments. I rebooted the PC and the same issue. Then, I could see no longer the GPIB instruments in NOR-MAX. I spent a few hours of debugging, try different configurations, connection to 1 or 2 instruments at once... now with this new Setup, I am able to let him see 7 of my instruments, but not all 8. I have a system to Keithley 7001, it doesn't seem to like more... When I connect it to the rest of the GPIB instruments, I get the "too many listeners' error and can not see all the instruments in Max weird because I have two of these 7001 s in my installation, and it is seems ok connection to one but not the other.

  Overall it is really strange and I can't figure out what that might be the problem... would appreciate advice/suggestions.

  I have checked/tried things

  -all GPIB instruments have unique addresses... There is no conflict of interest. as I said, things worked fine before... Suddenly, they were not.

  -doesn't seem to be a problem of GPIB cable. I tried different cables... same cable will be allowed to connect to a single instrument, but when I use it to connect to this particular Keitlhley instead, none of the instruments can be found.

  Also, I just noticed something, don't know if this is important... for my GPIB-USB-HS, the 'Ready' light always seems amber glow... it is never green. And never seems to light 'Active' lights... even if I send orders to the instruments.  Not sure if it of important or not.

  OK, I seem to have solved that problem. I changed address GPIB instrument troublesome Keithley to a number much more than the other instruments (e.g. addr 30 and other instruments were 10, 11, 12, etc.) and it worked. I don't know why it didn't work until he was NOT an address conflict (it was originally addr 9 and no other instrument has this address and it worked fine... just one day he complained there are too many listeners and he could not see what be it... strange. just this announcement here in the case where he helps to anyone.)

  I'm trying to capture images with 3 cameras USB, located in 3 different positions. I have to initialize each cameras using USB list vi camera when switching between cameras. I realize that, by making this method causing too many uses of the memory/cpu and can cause CPU hang up. If I stop the program, the memory/cpu counter are down.

  Do you know how to reduce this problem.

  I'm doing a movie using Windows Movie Maker and hobby clips that I converted to VHS using Roxio Easy VHS tapes to DVD converter.  When I try to import the file into the Movie Maker, I get a message saying 'could not be imported. "An interface has too many methods to fire from.  What should I do?

  This happens usually when your source files are
  not compatible with Movie Maker. Best bet would be
  be to convert video files to WMV format
  before you import into Movie Maker.

  There are many converters available on the net... some
  free... some detail.

  The following freeware converter is just one example:

  (this is where you find your files after they)

  Drag and drop your video clips on the main screen...

  Select "all to WMV" / OK...

  Click on... Beginning... in the toolbar...

  That should do it...

  I suggest that you try to import other files in Windows movie maker avi video and also check if you import another file format in Windows movie maker.

  Movie Maker has problems with the .mpg files... best bet would be
  to convert the .mpg files before importing the .wmv format.

  Several formats are apparently compatible with
  Movie Maker, but the most reliable choices are:

  Photos - bmp
  Video - wmv or dv - avi
  Music - wma, wav, .wmv

  I lost my email address. Reason given by MS: too many attempts to connect with wrong passwords. I tried only three times, and one of the Angioma plan was correct. I have since received a PIN number new mailing address, but there is no progress in the recovery of old one that contains vital mail. MS says system overwhelmed by a similar request and I will undermine only by putting in another application. Anyone else out there in the same boat? • How can I check to see if my system and components are compatible with VISTA, given that the counsel is no longer available and my office will take too many changes to make it compatible with WIN 7?

I just want to know how to find out if there is a way to see if all my components on my desktop are compatible with WINDOWS VISTA, but the Advisor WINDOWS VISTA is no longer available? I used the WIN 7 Advisor to check what is required for me to upgrade my desktop PC to WIN 7 but there are too many changes that need to be done!   In my application, I use the navigation pane to navigate through my app. So I have now nearly 4 to 6 different pages in a given stack a navigation pane, I was just wondering, what could be a good practice to avoid pushing too many pages to the pile of navPane?
  I used navPane with 4 to 6 pages in the stack in the first place because the value of the index selected in the standard list item determines what to display. the problem is, if the user wants to go back, go all the way back (pop all the pages) to see the home page.
  Is there a better layout work or idea that could help in this case?

  There are several possible approaches.
  If you do not want to keep the previous page when you press a new one you can use https://developer.blackberry.com/cascades/reference/bb__cascades__navigationpane.html#function-remov... to remove the page (after another is pushed) in silence.

  If you want more flexibility, you can also use access to any page of your carpet.

  Hello, in my application I am multiplying extremely large numbers. The product of these numbers when converted to a string and displayed to the user are in one of these formats:

  Either as #1, the product is in scientific notation, which is what I want, either as #2, she has a negative value. Why #2 have a negative value? I also use the Number type to store these numbers. Your first number # 2 is just to great to store in the number class, so that you get a positive overflow resulting in a negative endresult.

  Unfortunately, there is no datatype in ActionScript with a larger area I know.

  If all this sounds like gibberish to you, I suggest you read up on top of floating points. The use of these small and large numbers together is boobytrapped by several errors of calculation.
