Too recent system for server

I installed the Server 3.2.2 and so improved the system in 10.11.2.  The server icon is covered with a forbidden sign.  When I try to open the server it tells me that the system is too recent for the server.  He tells me to upgrade the server, when I go to the app store, it shows the price but will not let me buy the new server software which I thought I had already purchased.  If I press 'buy' this is for me the too recent system for server response software the 3.2.2 server hard disk but is grey.  Any suggestions on how to address this problem.  Thank you.

You can buy the version 5 of.app; the current version of OS X Server.   Each new version of OS X is usually a new purchase of OS X Server; of Server.app.   (Until Server.app version 5 is released - version 5 is the first that works on both versions.)    Yes, having to buy a new version of STINKS.   But then.app is much cheaper than it used to be.   Some years, I and many others still paid the US$ 1000 for unlimited-users of OS X Server version.  Or more than that, for the version with maintenance and upgrades.

I strongly suggest that you do not use the browser to store the passwords and login credentials.  It's not safe, and if you lose the laptop (or get hacked) your passwords may be disclosed.

There are at least two very good alternatives, which are secured.  LastPass and KeePass.  Both are highly rated and store your passwords in encrypted form.  I prefer LastPass myself, but you should check in together.
  • Laptop will not load Explorer - is there a way to download Firefox without using Explorer? Restore the all too recent dates!

I think that affected versions of Windows Explorer (we have a card in the laptop, which I believe is the origin of the problem) so that it is more load. I would like to switch to Firefox, but do not know how to load it without exploring. My Google Earth goes to internet and my e-mail program (Mozilla Thunderbird) still work so the wireless connection still works, but Explorer does not work. Can anyone help? 'Restore' my dates are all too recent. I restored once reworked Explorer, but Windows downloaded their upgrades again and now does not load Explorer. The oldest date of 'restoration' is too recent. I type this request for help on another computer.

You can use another computer (such as your local library) to download firefox to go and put it on a USB key.

  • Startup Repair is checking your system for problems... and for the last ten hours!

Apparently, during Windows updates last night, my laptop itself cut because it became overheated.  When I tried to turn it on this morning, it would not load my login screen, giving instead a screen empty and dark.  Now, he goes through the Startup Repair tool, where it says repairs to try with a blue bar moving, below which it says repair disk errors, it can take more than an hour to complete.  The problem is that he has done this for more than ten hours now with no sign of whether or not it works.  The screen shows exactly:

Startup Repair is checknig your system for problems... If problems are found, Startup Repair will fix automatically.  Your computer may restart several times during this process.  No changes will happen to your personal files or information.  This may take several minutes.  Attempt to repair... Repair the disk errors.  It may take more than an hour to complete.

Help, please! My laptop is only a year old and I backed up my files not recently (there are several important to me).  If he finishes by turn on normally? What is happening with it?

    Hi Ali,

Do you remember the update (S) that caused the problem to occur?
Remove all external devices (i, e printer, USB devices) and check.

In the meantime, follow these steps and see if it resolves the problem.

    Step 1:

If you have the Vista installation disc, I would suggest you start in the system recovery options and do a System Restore to the point that your computer was working normally.

    Step 2:

Once your system is restored, manually install the Windows updates to determine which update caused the problem to occur.

  • Windows 10 Ent 64 Build Base: Unable to detect the system for capturing diameter drive

I have a w Optilex 7010 last BIOS should I use to build a base for Win10 Enterprise 64 OS (I don't have access to many recent PC for that). Windows 10 installs fine and runs normally. 1st attempt: DIA was installed on the PC itself, used the Capture of Image w/o Sysprep functionality in an attempt to capture the image of maintenance.  Operation went very well until it restarts. It then stopped at part load Dell PE and possibly erroneous on indicating he could not find an OS disc (basic internal SATA drive). Then restart same result. Cannot go back to the operating system at all now. I created a USB DIA drive using the environment, that I installed on the base before attempting to capture the image of maint generation to win 10 7010. So I rebooted with this USB key, it starts in the environment DIA with success however she also threw an error at a later time she could ' t find an operating system drive. She would see my external drive fine based on a location to save an image, but nothing for the reader of the system itself.

Before that I spend another day on what I want to know if I'm doing something wrong or if this model will not work for this? BIOS change for this model?  I've used this on Win7 many, many times without problem now, nothing seems to work without a fight every step of the way!

    Problem solved

We had replaced the drive to factory in the 7010 with a former for use in the trial. This old (2005 SATA) drive was the question. I noticed when I went to try on another drive just to rule out it. When the 7010 factory reader was placed in the system of these errors went away. Image was captured and restored.

Use the command REGEDIT and change the key "SoftwareOnly" to "1" to "0" in the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Direct3D\Drivers

and then restart the system and it should work.

  • Breaking point taking up too much time for each step for every time to Jdeveloper 11.1.1.7

    Hi all

I use Jdeveloper to ADF application development 11.1.1.7 and I use 64 bit JDK. When I run my application in debug mode, if the program control passes to the location of the breakpoint taking too in time for the next step (F8) a few times because of this I need to restart the server from WL. During this time of progress/loading showing symbol on the screen. I don't know why this is happening... ? Please someone help me on this.

    Vinoth-

Try closing the Panel of the Structure of the ADF. I noticed a lot of requres JDev struggle to maintain synchronization with the Structure of the ADF. It helps in the design of JSF page and in brakepoints in support beans and other JSF related classes.

I also had problems with 64 bit JDK on Windows and came back to 32-bit. (do not remember if I had WLS crashes but I know I had a lot of problems)

Try growing JDev memory and heap WLS.

  • Steps to encrypt the attribute in Sun Java (TM) System Directory Server/5.2?

    Hi all

I installed Sun Java (TM) System Directory Server/5.2, which uses LDAP to the 6.0 (TAM) of Tivoli Access Manager.

LDAP has been installed on a separate server as well as the TAM (NPS server, server authorization) components.

I would like to encrypt an attribute (lets say UID) in LDAP as the attribute of password that is encrypted during installation of the software. So, what are all the steps I must follow to the encryption of the attribute. Help, please.

    Hello

In addition to you that DS5.2 is an OLD memory, OBSOLETE, not supported, version... and I strongly suggest you move on to a current version (ODSEE 11.1.1.7.2)...

However, the steps are explained in the official documentation available:

Sun Java System Directory Server 5.2 Product Documentation for the library

    and specifically to guide Administration:

    http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E19850-01/816-6698-10/entries.html#18538

  • File system for FRA and external backups

    Oracle 11g R2.

The FRA drive is formatted using Linux x 83 put on Diskgroup + FRA system.

Backups are stored outside on an ext3 file system.

Suppose now the database gets completely crashed and I need to recover by continuing external backups.  I will copy the external backups to the + FRA disk and then perform the recovery from there.

My question is, given that external backups are on ext3 file system, while the FRA is the Oracle ASM filesystem, there will be a problem for the use of the file systems of the two difference?

    Thank you

    Scott

    scottjhn wrote:

    To summarize the issue:

In my system, the database will be on ASM disk group + DATA (disk1 disk2).

I will use another disk, disk3 (ext3 file system) for FRA, to organize data files backups and multiplexed logs (archive logs, online newspapers and control files).

Earlier you said "I'll use the + FRA (ASM disk group) for the fast recovery area that holds that archiving multiplexed logs, recovery online logs, and control files.»  Nothing else. »

Now, I need one more place to hold the copy of the multiplexed logs.

Wouldn't not on the same + (ABOVE)?  Alternatively, use a disk full-fledged, disk4 (ext3 file system)?

    Thank you

    Scott

First of all, the reason for multiplexing online redo logs and control files is not the same as that of multiplexing archivelogs. Do it online and the control file are actually a part of the database.  The database will not work without them.  This is why it is so important to have multiplex.  Archivelogs, on the other hand, are part of your backup strategy.  The database itself really doesn't care if you have any archivelogs at all.  The archivelogs multiplexing is much less common.  I have never multiplexed mine, but I do not have a task that runs every hour to copy any newly created on a server off-site.

If your database is on ASM, at least a control file and a member of each group of redo log must be in ASM.  Technically, is not having to be, but it's really foolish not to do so.  Where to put the second copy?  Probably several schools of thought on this.  If your FRA is on ext3, so it seems a simple decision... a FRA copy, a copy in its default location in ASM.

Unable to connect to the MKS: address for server esx02.mgmt.domainname.dk host lookup failed: unknown error 11002 (0x2afa)

I'm new to VMware, I can very well do a MSTSC server and work proberly.

the VMwareTools are out of date, when I log on the server and try to update I get the following message:

    any ideas here?

I discovered that it is related to DNS

It is usually a temporary error during hostname resolution and means that the local server does not valuationauront of response from an authoritative server.

the issue was that the VMware system was on a different subnet, and the firewall (TMG) blocked. bring the RDP to the Vcenter server and vsphere then open works like a charm

  • Best practices for storing the Logs of the system for all newly improved ESXi hosts?

    Hi people,

What are the options and best practices for the Logs of the system for all newly improved 5.1u1 ESXi hosts?

Do I need to have the Syslog server or it can be safely ignored?

    Thank you

    Evening,

Syslog is preferred, but VMware has provided a collector of syslog on the vcenter installation disc can be installed on any windows host or your vcenter. I can't count the number of times where I had guests CMTF or newspapers lost... Fortunately for the syslog which collects up to the accident.  It is not necessary, but it's really a good idea without any real cost since you can use your vcenter host.

Here is an article on how to install it:

  • Toolbar too jacked-up for level consumer PDF

Sooner or later interactive 3D going to saturate our culture. Acrobat 3D is a big step, but it is targeted toward engineers and the consumer not marketing level.
I want to produce these large PDFs for the marketing of consumer level products, but the toolbar is too feature rich for consumers. Tools are okay, we're going to keep, but by default, ROTATE tool, is just exasperating (not a good thing).
I've been on the creative side of advertising for more than 30 years, in collaboration with 3D for the past ten years, and I'm doing some coding from time to time, so I'm not afraid of a challenge. I know this: a picture is worth a thousand words, a moving picture is worth ten thousand words, an interactive 3D needs NO words.
Adobe has taken a giant with Acrobat 3D step, but society now seems to pull away. The acceptance level wide consumption will generate demand for Acrobat 3D, engineering market is not big enough in itself. Here's my problem, the TOOL BAR requires an engineering degree, this is way beyond the scope of attention of the consumer and the understanding. Consumers are not engineers, but they do not know how to use a mouse.
So here's my list of wishes for Adobe Acrobat 3D consumer level:
    1. Remove the TOOL BAR and CLICK RIGHT submenu entirely to the annotation. When I say "Delete", I want this option off and make it not visible on a basis by tool-tool. Keep the TOOL BAR in Acrobat 3D, but I need to manage it in a concern for my product and consumers. I don't want customers seeing and I was wondering why they can get a tool to work or you wonder what they are missing because of a characteristic that is grayed out. I want to draw their attention to the product offered in the PDF file. (I can't do it yet)

    2. Rotate the default move tool and the only tool. (I CAN do this, through discussions of this forum and javascript)

    3. I need to limit the tool rotation SPIN to go below the ground plane and adjust the friction of the SPIN tool, some models are moving too quickly in the environment. (I can't do it yet)

    4. The cursor default arrowhead does nothing to promote (aside, distinguish or announce) the 3D environment. When a consumer has a slider on a 3D annotation on the cursor must disclose this fact. The slider to the right for this task is the 'move' cursor (it resembles the PAN TOOL icon). I need to set the icon of the MOVEMENT as the default 3D icon (I can't do it again)

    5. Create a 2D in front of the 3D scene layer to put JPGs and TEXT hover in front of the 3D annotation. This can be useful for placement of the custom display buttons, WE / OFF buttons, sliders to transparency in the scene, or switch between one or two model make modes or systems of different lighting. (I can't do it yet)

    6. As I have said before, 'remove the RIGHT CLICK submenu entirely' because it's a can of worms as the TOOL BAR. But I won't be able to customize the RC submenu when a consumer clicks on a part of the 3D model. When they right click, they must obtain a submenu of features, options, properties related to my offer product. (I can't do it yet)

    7. And finally, the URL connectivity. The submenu CLICK RIGHT has a function like: make a reservation, order this part, add to cart. (I can't do it yet)

Now who will speed up Acrobat 3D. Anyone know how to accomplish these functions?

    Greg

    OK, in order:

    1. you can disable the toolbar by using the properties of the annotation of 3D, but you can not disable the popup (right click menu) or change the entries. You can add buttons to the toolbar in very limited using JS and can en/disable tools by name, but cannot replace the entire thing and does not affect the other drop down menus (such as lighting or rendering menus)

    2. easy with JS, as you already know: runtime.setCurrentTool('Spin');

    3. also possible with JS, but complex to be implemented you have to re - write the camera management functions and do a little math polar geometry. There are a few examples of Directlight using a script to crash to the ground for architectural renders inside a "bubble of sky", but the script they use is copyrighted.

    4. we do not access for cursor icons, period.

    5. you can do this in several ways; either a layer of watermark on the PDF, or using a SWF file embedded in the 3D scene and some JS to load the SWF file as an "object of first stage plan. I have covered a lot of this on the Acrobatusers.com tutorials, but talk more in upcoming shows.

    6 - See q1

7 - very often-performed using JS and probably essential scripts in 3D PDF files is used to. There are examples of "purchase order 3D" everywhere on the Web, that use a script to override the default selection manager in the 3D scene, check the name of the node in the mesh that is clicked, and then the fire something to the PDF document (such as fill in a form field (, a document, etc.) -suggest you grab one and poke inside, managers are all roughly the same.

It is important to note that the display of a 3D annot is managed by a plugin shipped with Acrobat and Adobe Reader, and this plugin decides what toolbars, menus, etc. appear. Because plugins are generally exposed to each other, you could not replace the default 3D toolbar even if you wrote a "plugin" plugin, and there is no intention to change the customization options (or lack thereof). I agree with you that some of the tools and context items are a bit obscure for Joe Public, but they were indeed designed to be used by engineers! PDF 3D was created for CAD/CAM data can be exchanged and journals, while it was realistic to expect people by opening the files were warned in how to work with 3D models. They are to be turned over to the public, but even today the vast majority of 3D PDF files went from one engineer, who both probably use a space pilot rather than orders from the toolbar.

  • you tell me that I don't have an operating system for the update to 3.6.24 - I do, I have MAC OS 10.5.8.

Update never went looking for server.

If he has problems with the update or the permissions then simpler is to download the full version and trash the version currently installed to do a clean install of the new version.

Download the program Firefox and save the file on the desktop disk image (dmg).

Firefox 4 and later requires at least OS X 10.5 and an Intel Mac.

Firefox 3.6.x (Mac OS X 10.4 and later versions) can be found here:

    • Trash the present application Firefox to do a clean (re-) install
    • Install the new version you downloaded

Your profile data is stored in the Firefox profile folder, so you will not lose your bookmarks and other personal data if you uninstall and (re) install Firefox.
