• Stuck pen of Illustrator (CC) tool

  I use a specific feather on a number of vector images I created and one day, out of the blue, the pen tool decides HE will decide what value the pen is attached to. When I try to enter a number custom, I get this noise of error mac (low tone) and it goes back to the default (which is still 250 px). I tried to navigate the preferences and cannot find anything. I restarted illustrator, and it continues to be annoying. I really hope that this is just something stupid accidentally, I clicked on and can be easily solved. I hope someone can help, thanks!

  250 px is the limit for an effect feather in artificial intelligence. This is an expected behavior.

• Pen tool problem with Adobe Illustrator CS4

  Recently, after many years, I finally gave up using AI 9 and started using AI CS4.

  However, I'm having a real problem and it's bugging me. When I start to use the feather on CS4, it gives me much too much information and disrupts my concentration. First of all, all these details in green pop up telling me that something is the path or anchor. Secondly, there is this awful gray box next to my pen saying things like "D: 62.54 points.

  Could someone please tell me how to disable all these appendages and I just get mmy pen rear base.

• Problem with tools of workspace in Illustrator Adobe CC after the last update

  I just downloaded the latest update for my CC Adobe Illustrator program and have noticed since a major problem with the tools of the workspace. It won't let me access to one of the tools that are found on the drop down menus to other tools. For example, I can access and use the pen tool but have no way to make the anchor point add or subtract anchor point tools. Same question goes with all the tools in my workspace that have similar, hidden tools under the. The arrow at the bottom right of each tool icon is still there (indecating a drop down menu is available), but when I click and drag down to view other tools he give me a 'no' or 'error' icon.

  Any suggestions on how to fix this? I have already quit and re-open the software several times. This doesn't seem to help.

  There is a slight change in the behavior of the tool selection. Now the hidden tools cannot be selected simply by clicking and dragging out. This was changed to implement the new feature "Custom tools Panel" which allows to add the tool to the custom tools Panel by simple drag and drop. You can learn more on this topic at http://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/using/custom-tools-panels.html.

  In addition, the other options available to select hidden tools are:

  1. long press / press + hold.

  2 alt + click on Tools group displays the hidden tools.

  Sounds like your using the pen tool not the pen tool free-form. However, the pen tool in free form seems smooth thing. You can also try the tool pencel and brush, that they work for you also.

  The thing that says 32-bit exhibition (has nothing to do with what version of cs5 your use) could be here because you have already opened or created a document in 32-bit/channel mode.

  You can change what appears here by clicking on the little arrow and choose something else.
