Toolbar settings disappeared

The Settings toolbar disappeared from my menu on the right on photoshop. How can I restore it? Thank you!

Hello

What version of photoshop are you using?

Sounds like you have the default essential workspace, so that this reset workspace should work.

Window > workspace > reset Essentials or if it does not click on Essentials (default)

When my pc restarts about 80% of my services clear, msconfig says im start-up selective or diagnostic, even if I would have set to normal. I turn most of them and try to start, about 35% of them will start. My Os is xp sp2.  Thanks in advance, Teresa512

    Hi teresa512,

    Method 1

This can happen if the computer is infected with virus or malware infections.

I suggest that you scan and remove all infections from the computer and check if it works.

The scan below only works on the 32-bit version of Windows

    http://OneCare.live.com/site/en-us/default.htm

You can use the Microsoft security essentials to scan your computer

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security_essentials/

    Method 2

If the previous step fails then I suggest that scan you SFC on the computer that would be a system file corrupt on the computer search and replace.

    (a) click Start, click run, type cmd in the Open box, and then click OK.

    (b) at the command prompt, type sfc/scannow, and then press ENTER.

Note: you can be fast to insert the Windows XP CD.

    I hope this helps!

    Changes in the toolbars:

I don't like the changes made to the user interface either, rather than to save toolbar space, they would have much more space with 1/10 the functionality. But the important thing is that it's Firefox and you can customize things yourself. Your complaints about the Firefox toolbars are the top 10 items in what follows and they are quickly fixed.

You can make Firefox 5.0 looks not like Firefox 3.6.19, see numbered 1 to 10 points in the next topic difficulty Firefox 4.0 UI toolbar, problems (Make Firefox 5.0, or 4.0.1 resemble 3.6). If you make changes, you must be aware of what has changed and what it takes to use changed or missing features.

hostage to the third party toolbar:

Why you would bind your use of any third-party toolbar browser, which was never really necessary, and even less be hostage to not update to Firefox. Google has had over a year to update their toolbar for Firefox 4 and changes for Firefox 5 could have been tested for several months. Google has waited very long before for finally stating that they would maintain is no longer their toolbar for Firefox, claiming that it was not necessary, and that the items were in Firefox. Also be aware that the features are also in their own browser that also do not need or use the Google toolbar. Not only is Mozilla open source, but all the information is available to anyone - you can even listen online meetings yourself or wait for a printed reviewa.
There is no change to the user interface of Firefox 4 to 5 and probably even not through Firefox 7

    Life without the Google toolbar:

You can read this article, on the basis of assessment of own Google features were already in Firefox and expanded from there.

The Google toolbar is no longer supported by Google in Firefox 5 and more ', you may be able to get what you want from him for a limited time, the instructions to install the Google toolbar have been posted before that Google has actually announced a fall support.

  • Why the my toolbar buttons disappear?

Since the last update my toolbar buttons disappear without warning. Reluctantly, I tried to restore the default values in the customization area and the toolbar made it back to the configuration by default with the standard buttons, but in a few minutes, the toolbar is empty. He returned to add annoying things only to disappear immediately. The updates seemed to cause more problems, then they have solved. I might have to switch to Chrome, while I wait for an update which corrects the update caused problems.

  • Since the upgrade today my bookmarks toolbar has disappeared.

I checked that the bookmarks toolbar is selected as turned on, what it is, but it still does not appear. There seems to be some changes in the new version of Firefox, where the top of the page menu disappears unless you go over it, I'd rather it must remain visible too, but the bookmarks toolbar is not found

Hi, you may be in Mode full screen. Point to the top of the screen and then right click > exit full-screen Mode.

To display the bookmarks bar, then right-click in the tab bar - but not on a tab and tick/check Bookmarks Toolbar. If that is not make it appear, click default settings as shown in the controls, buttons, and Toolbars Customize Firefox.

  • Why my yahoo toolbar has disappeared?

This morning 12/19/15 my yahoo toolbar disappeared from my screen. How can I restore it?

The Yahoo toolbar add-on become disabled in Firefox 43 is a known issue that Mozilla and Yahoo are working on. In this case, you can follow the instructions for advanced users in article module signature in Firefox (toggle the preference xpinstall.signatures.required to false in the configuration of Firefox editor), but this is only a temporary solution that will not work in future versions of Firefox Firefox 44.

  • My AVG safesearch toolbar has disappeared and I can't get it back.

    I have two problems.

1.I finally downloaded the latest version of Firefox, which I tried to avoid since the last time I did I got many problems. Now that I did, my AVG safe search toolbar disappeared.

    2. in addition, I already visited secure sites, I could tell when a yellow padlock appears in the bottom right of the page. This is now gone, so I have no way of knowing if I'm on an SSL site or not and I worry about what I do all my banking and online shopping.

Can someone tell me please on these issues? Thank you.

OK, let's start with your second question first.

The status bar at the bottom of the screen disappeared. Instead of a padlock, Firefox uses the Site identity button to inform you if you are on a website that is secure or not. You can read the article to learn more about it and the new features it offers against the padlock.

As for your toolbar AVG safe search, if you still want to use it in Firefox 10, you may need to install an AVg update and toolbar to make it compatible with Firefox. If AVG doesn't have an update, you can contact them to ask when considering making it compatible with Firefox 10.

Another thing I noticed (not related to your problem) is that you have some plugins up to date, so I run check [plugin check] Mozilla plugin and install the updates that it finds.

  • The default navigation toolbar has disappeared. I want to reinstall it. I now have no way to go back, refresh, etc..

When I opened Firefox today, the toolbar of navigation by default, purely and simply disappeared. I have now no way to 'come back' "Restore page" etc. I need to know how to retrieve.

Don't forget the Navigation bar is enabled (checked = displayed; uncontrolled won't = displayed)

If you don't have a title bar, toolbars, tabs, you can be in full screen. The F11 key activates / turns off Mode full screen or not.
