Toolbars on the desktop.

The tools/ease of access bar bar went on the top of my screen.

This bar still contained more quick ways to get email and IM chat and internet and the webcame integrated and much more.

How can I get that back?

And this isn't the sidebar with gadgets.

You say "toolbar", but I guess you mean the tasks bar.

Although by default, the taskbar is displayed on the bottom of the screen,
It can be on any of the sides on what you prefer. To move any
side to side, simply click an unused portion and drag
where you want it. Don't forget to click inside it, not on the edge.
by clicking on the edge and dragging will resize not move.

If it does not move, it can be locked. In this case, right click on it
and uncheck "Lock the taskbar", then try again.

Moreover, with the screen monitors wide today, I prefer the taskbar
on the left or the right of the screen. I think that allows a better
use of real estate than have it at the bottom of screen.

In addition, if a new user is set up, icons ARE there on THIS desk.

Yesterday, I used the "show desktop icon" to close all open windows and show me immediately my PC desktop.  Today, this icon has disappeared.

The icon used to be on the section area of quick launch in my toolbar at the bottom of my screen.  I want to put it back, but I don't know where to find it.

    Hello

    Copy a new from here:

    C:\Users\Default\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch

    Place:

    C:\Users\launch of \AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick

If you do not see the AppData folder, you need to change folder options/View tab see hidden and system first, or any folders just type the path in the address bar of Windows Explorer.

  • How to create a toolbar of shortcuts on the desktop

    Hello...
How to create a toolbar of shortcuts on the desktop

Unfortunately, this feature is no longer available with Windows 7. I was surprised myself so since Vista was fine with it, but in Windows 7, we all need to just get used to using the feature of the taskbar QuickLaunch. You can pin any icon you want in the taskbar and use it to your quick launch of this program.

Oh! If you think it's a Virus/Malware then take your HARD drive internal to another machine and have it is scanned with a good Antivirus updated. If nothing else works the hard way is to format your machine.
