• I have lost my original photos from my local drive if I optimized my iCloud library?

  What is your external drive only has 1 TB of storage?  You have found the warning because the 900 GB in iCloud and the size of your current library on the external hard drive will not fit on the disc. If you have a disc, use a drive twice the size of your library of Photos, so you will not miss storage in the years to come. Any drive that you use with pictures must have Mac OS Extended (Journaled) file system.

  iCloud library does not know, the pictures are identical. It will download all the photos in the library moved to iCloud and check if they are duplicates. And it only allows you to introduce you, if you use 'Optimize', if the combined size of the photos in iCloud and on your Mac is larger than the available storage.

  And Yes, the "optimize" option can cause some originals will be deleted. It is completely dynamic.  You can turn this option off again directly after that you turned the library on the external drive as your iCloud photo library for re-download all original, and before Photos was able to start optimization. • Photos does not, any more than iPhoto

  Photos, which worked yesterday, will suddenly be open are not not iPhoto. I restarted several times and tried to open while pressing the command option. Nothing. Help!

  all of a sudden not open, nor will be iPhoto.

  What happens when you try? It crash? You get an error message?

  What has changed before photos is more launched? Have you installed new software? Run any new application? Move the photo library to a differnet drive?

  I had an iPhone since version 1.0 and IOS since version 1.0.

  I currently have an iPhone 6 and who has been in my possession for about 1 year, works perfectly.   He has had several revisions to IOS during this period and it worked flawlessly...

  NOW, I'm a bit appalled my CAMERA WITHOUT LEAVE application to save photos taken.   I've shot with success a photo panorama a week ago and it was the LAST picture to be saved on the device.   Since then, I took photos – they even reviewed then unit the request and they are visible.   However at the close of the camera app and goes to the VIEWER's PHOTO app - they are not visible.   All my before photos and shared photos / rivers are visible.  In fact the last taken Panorama is there, but any photo taken recently by the camera is not visible anywhere.  This isn't in the photo gallery, is not in the film and is not in any album.   They simply do not exist...

  Re-opening of the camera app and press the Preview button shows the pictures but frown once again the last pictures taken are all GONE!  ..    If I take more pictures with the camera, they will be visible in the preview of the camera app until I close the application... Once closed, they are GONE GONE GONE and would never be found...

  I did a soft and HARD reset the unit several times.    It is a device of 128Gig with about 1/2 of it in use I have a lot of space - on the other hand, because it is a 75Gig restore;  I have no no no desire to attempt a restoration...    It's a lot of data at risk and a lot of TIME on a device that serves as my business.  !!

  You said you did a 'hard reset' but try this way to see if it helps, nothing to lose, but a little time.

  Close your camera and Photos of applications completely from the multitasking window by double clicking the Home button and drag it to the top of the camera and Photos of streams overview until what they disappear from the screen. This close applications completely (they are not closed if do you a "hard reset" or simply restart). Then perform a forced reboot. Hold down the home and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously for about 15-20 seconds , until the Apple logo appears. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it rises. You won't lose anything.

  Some of my photos disappeared randomly and now all I see is a thumbs.db file in the folder. I am the only person who uses this computer and I did not remove the pictures of theses. I tried a search, but I'm still not able to locate them.

  Thumbs.DB is a hidden file that contains thumbnails of the pictures stored in a folder.

• Photosmart Premium c310 will not print from the photo tray. Market power does not work.

  HP Photosmart Premium c310 refuses to print from the photo tray.  I use an iMac.  I shot tray in and out, nothing.  I stoked market, nothing.  Whenever I try to print a photo, it pulls the main tray.  He doesn't even try to pull the photo tray.  And I select in the settings of Photo paper in the photo tray.  Oh, and I have never tried to print before photos.  This is my first time and it won't work.  Printing regular documents from the main tray works fine.   Can someone please help?

• Photo Gallery cannot find the folder

  Your original photo is never changed by Lightroom.

  In the develop module, the backslash key should activate / deactivate the unedited, uncropped photo version and the final version of your photo.

• Script opens the Toolbox Editor.

  I built my first script to AE, but whenever I run EI he starts with the Toolbox Editor, which is a bit annoying. Anyone know what would cause this? The script works very well, just open the box editor toolbox before it runs, and then evertime I use it again once it brings box editor tools in the home until I can start acutally using the script.

  This occurs only with this script not others so I think it's something, I did or left in when I copy and paste examples of scripts.

• FAT32 library corrupted

  Hi, pretty catastrophic issue here with my iPhoto and photo library.

  Having had both my iPhoto and photo library stored on an external hard drive (since I'm on a 120 GB MacBook Air) to save space. Everything worked fine until recently.

  Currently, all my pictures and videos bar as it is impossible to find the most recent import (s) - photo shows only the thumbnail of them.

  The Master of the record, all these images and videos are of zero byte. The photo library also said 55GO (the total size of the photo library), but when trying to copy to a new position, only 9,77 GB is copied and also takes three to four times the rate of the normal copy. NB: 9,77 GB is the total of images and videos of the import (s) most recent are still correct.

  The only mistake that I can't seem to remember is that I moved my iPhotos and photo of a FAT32 formatted partition on my hard drive external library. Imports I've done since located it on a drive to FAT32 format are the only ones not corrupt, all the previous pictures and videos are the affected.

  Ive tried all repair and reconstruction of the library, but in vain...

  When you view the images corrupt and videos in the library of Photos, they do not load. However video thumbnails always indicate the length of the videos, and when I right click on-> get info-> the file indicates this is the original size that is 66 MB. However, in the record master, right click-> get info on any corrupted photo or video - size indicates zero byte.

  Since I have my library iPhotos and photos on an external hard drive, I have no backup Time Machine from them. I know it's a very stupid mistake to copy the library to FAT32, but I was not aware of the risks.

  Any help, clarification of my question, etc. would be so so appreciated.

  Unfortunately, you have used a disk in the wrong format and will not work

  Hello, for my front camera is not centered properly. Is not the effect on the front camera, you can still take before photos with it looking good, but it just bothers me. So I was wondering if Apple would fix it or simply give me another iPhone. IM asking this because I heard a lot of people who have had the same problem and they just received a new since it was not repairable. My front screen is slightly cracked too, which would prevent me from getting a replacement? I have also the Applecare warranty of 2 years, incidentally. Thanks in advance
