  A current list of missing features? After having FINALLY updated to version 5 09 Pages I find that most of my projects can be done fairly well in version 5. Knowing the missing functionality allows me to open 09 when necessary. Here are the features that I found missing and that the effect my work:

  1 linked text boxes. Amazing this has never been corrected. How to make a newsletter without them?
  2 find and replace advanced options. I often put tabs in place of the text in 09. Bad luck.
  3. activation of the police of an inactive policy with Font Explorer does not work. Works great in 09.
  4. dynamic toolbars. The inspector window changes dynamically. Not as good as the toolbar changes. Really slows me down to use the Inspector for ALL areas.
  5 merger and mailing. Probably need to keep 09 around until she dies for it.

  From my point of view, the inability of the language tag text made 5 useless Pages for any multilingual work.  Pages 4 and all processors serious do not have this feature.

  Make sure you are in design mode, it is not available in the new Live View Editor.

  Otherwise, it would be in the same place forever, bottom left of the Properties window.

  Why did I miss the toolbar of the application, the features of the toolbar of office and a number of coding environments on my dreamweaver? It seems that the tutorial from Lynda.com had many more features than my version.

  Ben has given you most of the information you need. I can tell you that CC Essential Training on lynda.com Dreamweaver has been recorded using the original Dreamweaver CC which was released in 2013. It is planned to update the course, but not yet. You will find may be easier to work with Paul Trani courses, create a site of first in 2015 of CC of Dreamweaver. I also recorded a course for lynda.com, Responsive Design with Bootstrap and Dreamweaver CC 2015, but I wouldn't recommend it to a beginner.

  If you do not already done, follow basic courses of James Williamson on HTML and CSS: HTML Essential Training and basic principles of CSS. Once you have a solid knowledge of HTML and CSS, Dreamweaver user interface change will be only a minor inconvenience. Do not 'Learn Dreamweaver. Learn the basics of creating web pages and use Dreamweaver as a tool.

• Missing features in Dreamweaver CS5, which was in older versions

  Is it me or is CS5 less easy to use than the previous versions?  I did most of my work with Dreamweaver 4... with Dreamweaver 8 and only jumped to CS5 because I've saved up enough and thought I could move my abilities with advanced software...

  Anyway - I added background pictures in tables in earlier versions and can't find how to change or add new ones to the new tables.  I searched the web and found a lot of sites that claim to have the answer, but after reading their they all seem to be far away from the base.  Again, I've used a work around.  I copied the code in a file to another and then changed the image file...  HTML is not hard... my point is why I started Dreamweaver usning... WYSIWYG functions make it easy.   There was a box to add the image in the box properties... went in CS5

  Gone also is the area of height Table...?

  How about table background colors and border?  They are gone as well

  There are other things missing, but those above is those that I used a bit.

  I'm trying to get up to speed with CSS and we hope that it will solve some of my problems with the missing stuff.

  My advice to people is, if you're not ready to update your skills, do not waste money update your software.

  Personally, I'm happy that Adobe made it difficult (but not impossible) to design with tables in newer versions. I teach Dreamweaver and would never consider teaching students to use tables for anything other than tabular data (although I wasn't teaching not based on a layout table until Dreamweaver began to manipulate the good CSS that was around version CS2 or 3).

  But I am sympathetic to your situation. If you do not use the program, you should see on the back of it. It might still be possible, and it's worth a try. In the future, I would recommend to make use of the 30 days trial free Adobe offers before expanding your money.

  Do not forget that the world is moving and the old versions of programs are not supported. When you update your computer or operating system, you are llkely to have problems.

  The characteristic Dungeon for drawing objects is missing. When I right click on an object in the Toolbox object and select view, "Dungeon of drawing", does not appear. I've never seen this feature, but this is supposed to be there. I use ES4.

  Go to tool-> Options-> Workspace-> check "Display Keep Drawing Tool"

  

• Missing features in Adobe CC

  Hello

  I noticed the new features as the creator of QR code and new preview of the document in Indesign Adobe CC is missing in my version of CC Indesign. In Dreamweaver, I got the palette of Styles CSS, but in the new version of Dreamweaver, this palette is called CSS Designer. I updated the Application Manager and installed all updates - how come I do not have these new features?

  Almost certainly, that you always use CS6, no CC.

  Have you tried connecting to the creative cloud and the new creative cloud application download to download the CC versions?

• iPhone 5 photos app - missing features

  I've recently updated to IOS 10 and on my iPad I can search people and keywords on the photos app but on my iPhone 5 I did not either of these features so I was wondering should I put anything on or is it meant to be like that?

• HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus - scanning missing feature

  I have used my printer for a little over a year - without problem and was very pleased with its performance.

  A few weeks ago I started to see messages that says that nothing is more anywhere for the scans to be sent. I was very curious about this message but I had not been using the scanner function. A few weeks ago, I clicked on the printer

• Search or find target for shortcut missing features in Vista, deleted?

  I just finished a large number of documents, 7 GB, from my old XP computer to a new computer with Vista.  To avoid creating copies of the same file in this big folder structure I created often in many places shortcuts to point to the actual file.  Over the years, some of the structure of file modified and moved the target, so the shortcuts files are pointing to the old location.

  In Vista, whenever I've chaque fois que j' ai rencontre met one of these shortcuts pointing to the old location, by clicking the shortcut creates a "problem with shortcut" error and load the file fails.  In addition, if you right click on the shortcut properties, the button "find target" of XP has been replaced by "position to open the file" and it does not work as well.

  Under XP, it was never a problem.  I tested the old computer to make sure.  Whenever you click on a shortcut pointing to a location on the old XP automatically to find the file and resolve the reference shortcut, which loads the file with a slight delay only.  After closing the file the shortcut would now point to the new location.  The same thing will happen if you right-click the shortcut properties and chose the target of research, he finds the new loacation fairly quickly.

  Is there a reason for this 'Find target' for shortcuts feature has been disabled or deleted in Vista?  Is there a way to reactivate?

  I am running Vista SP1 with Windows Search 4.0.  Windows Search makes it quick to find the target file, but manually having to search and update each shortcut is going to be a real pain.

  Some integrated programs have suddenly disappeared in the folder 'Accessories' in the Start Menu, including sticky notes, Snipping Tool, Sound Recorder, and record Tablet PC Tools was empty too and maybe even more than programs that I do not know. (I don't know why this happened, the only reason why I can think of is maybe I fell a development of my antivirus program).

  I looked online for solutions, I tried:

  The programs are always there, I found 3 of them in C:/Windows/System32 as exe files and they work from there, but they just will not be displayed in the Start Menu or when I do a search. I don't know what else is missing. Is it possible to bring them back in the start menu? Would be fixed it with a factory reset? - but I don't really want to do a factory reset, unless I am out of options.

  A factory reset would, but that's certainly an exaggeration just to restore shortcuts.
