  I am to evaluate TopLink 11g grid that fits the coherence data grid. It seems to me when TopLink routes the request of coherence, it converts primary keys of database to be the key used in cache coherence. Is it possible to customize this conversion? The reason is that we want to use the affinity of data coherence function that requires a key to consistency to implement the method to return the keys association and lead conversion does not work for us.

  I advise to use an IdClass incorporated into your JPA entities. You can then implement the necessary logic on the IdClass.

  I would like to know how efficient the conversion of SQL queries for filters of coherence is wen search an object in the cache coherence. TopLink does something as instruction cache cache filters consistency as well? In this regard, you have number of performance?

  TopLink grid currently has a rudimentary filter cache that allows TopLink to only translate NamedQuery once. This allows TopLink grid to reuse the same filter on subsequent runs of this NamedQuery.

  Hi all
  I use toplink grid grid read the weblogic server configuration + consistency.
  As soon as I load the cache using 'IgnoreDefaultRedirector' and redeploy the application, I get class cast exception. I use a distributed system.
  Can someone explain to work around this issue.

  What are the details of the Exception. How is your consistency and TopLink grid packed? If consistency is on the classpath of the system, then you will need to shut down the server when the redeployment. If you set up consistency and TopLink grid as a shared library or package them as part of your application you do not meet the exception of class cast to the redeployment.

  I lu something on this introduced feature in Oracle 11 g R2 , I have not very clear that you can get When you add a new node to the cluster is configured automatically.

But not if there is more feature that allows for a more powerful Management software in the installation management of ASM or RDBMS instances on the new server cluster .

  Negotiators and GNS are independent of each other

  From 11 GR 2 onwards, files with right to vote can be hosted on ASM. And the upcoming ASM to cssd demon. And for the cssd start the cluster needs to access files with right to vote.

  These voting files location information is stored in the profile of negotiators (grid Plug n Play) file.

  GNS, is for the resolution of the cluster name. For customers outside the cluster to find the virtual servers in the cluster, we provide a Naming Service (GNS) grid. It works with any level superior DNS to provide names can be resolved to external customers. DHCP provides dynamic configuration of the IP address of hosts, but does not provide a good way to produce names which are useful to external clients. Accordingly, it has been rare in the server complex. In Oracle 11g release 2 Clusterware (11.2), this problem is solved by providing clusterwares own service name in the cluster and this connection resolution DNS that is visible to customers.

• TopLink Grid: Create EntityManager fails when running on WebLogic

  I am creating WebService that usus TopLink grid to access data. First of all I created simple stand-alone application with TopLink grid and all work very well. Then, I created WebService based on app created previously.
  When I try to run WebService deployed on WebLogic, I got error:
  "line Class ="Oracle.EclipseLink.Coherence.Integrated.config.GridCacheCustomizer"file =" GridCacheCustomizer.java "="30"method ="Customize. "
  java.lang.NoSuchMethodError org.eclipse.persistence.descriptors.ClassDescriptor.setFullyMergeEntity (Z) V
  It fails in the entityManagerFactory.createEntityManager () method.
  If deleted the eclipse configuration file - link.xml webservice customizer statement works. Maybe for server application needed some additional configuration or initialization?

  What is the version that you perform the deployment? The method not found was added in a later version, so it is probably there is a version mismatch where the Weblogic instance that is running and the version that you configured when running stand-alone. I think you need probalby use a version of Weblogic as 12.1.1 which comes with TopLink which includes EclipseLink 2.3.2 for this to work, or use a different version of EclipseLink which comes with the Weblogic instance that you are using.   I'm running into a problem with the mouse on my VDI machines control deployed with GRID NVidia GPU in k-1.

  The machines I deployed with the GPU K1 can no longer be controlled by using the console.  Either thick client or web client.  The servers that are running on the same host are fine, but anything with map GRID on it, fails to display the mouse in Console.

  Rotates through the documents best practices for GRID map and all parameters seem to be good.   Also tried to re - install (uninstall, reinstall) VMtools.

  Any help is appreciated.

  You will lose the console if you use vGPU or vDGA on a virtual machine.

  I suggest to use another way to on these remote administration, Remote Desktop for example.

  You can follow the same approach to upgrade the database and apply the fixes 7 ORS ATG group level.

  Please make sure that you apply the patches in (known issues on top of 11i. ATG_PF. H.Delta.7 (RUP7) - 6241631 [858801.1 ID]). In addition, make a full backup before you start this on your instance of production and if possible get an instance cloned with SSO enabled and test all patches on an identical instance.
