TosBtMng

Every now and then I get the following error message, and I'm not really sure what it means.  the eror message says the following: "TosBtMng has stopped working".

Does anyone know what it is.  No matter what the message is about that doesn't seem to affect anything.

This is part of the Toshiba Bluetooth stack. See the Web from Toshiba site for updates to your computer.

I have been informed that I need to update the driver. If so where and how do I do?

    Hello

Usually, you should visit the driver of your laptop manufacturer page to get all the drivers and the software preinstalled on your laptop.

On Toshiba laptops you could uninstall the battery of BT in Control Panel-> software.
In addition, the BT stack for Toshiba devices can be downloaded here:
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/Bluetooth/

but it might be possible that you could it use only 30 days long since you've got a laptop from another manufacturer... in this case, you should get in touch with a team of support for computer laptop manufacturer

  • Satellite U300-130 - TosBtMng has stopped working after installing Nokia PC Suite

I have the same problem too... with Toshiba Satellite U300-130.

Bluetooth worked well enough before I installed the Nokia PC Suite for my mobile on my PC (new version 7.1.26.0 Web site).

To be correct, as a first step, I even managed to maintain a connection between the PC and the Nokia Bluetooth and ran the synchronization of the contacts. I tried several times, but each time synchronization run ended with the message "PC couldn't get response from your Nokia.

After the reboot, my PC went crazy and started broadcasting the message "TosBtMng has stopped working" and it restarted every time that I ask him to close.

Installation of the new version of BT Stack (6.40) does not resolve this error.

    Help, please

I also use Toshiba Satellite, I use this [suite Nokia pc | http://www.softsea.com/review/Nokia-PC-Suite.html] version

You use another software for ISDN example that uses a lot of virtual COM ports?
If so delete if you don't mind. Install the bluetooth software and reinstall your other software.
Take a look at the screenshot DeviceManager to the following Web site to see how the Bluetooth COM ports should resemble:
    http://APS.toshiba-tro.de/Bluetooth/redirect.php?page=pages/FAQ/bluetoothnotworking.html

  • (Not ready) TosBtMng.exe during closing. Bluetooth cannot connect devices

I noticed that my bluetooth stopped working recently. I can't connect or find near devices.
I can not open bluetooth settings or any application bluetooth came with my laptop. I have a bluetooth module and everything built in.
It was then that I noticed that whenever I tried to stop my laptop, one 'not answer' or 'not ready' message kept popping up to TosBtMng.exe.

I tried to uninstall my previous bluetooth batteries and reinstalled the latest, but the same problem keeps occurring.
TosBtMng.exe installation rail smoothly however, continues to be unresponsive.

    In Device Manager I see:

    + Bluetooth
    -Bluetooth RFBUS
    -Bluetooth RFCOMM
    -BluetoothRFHID
    -Bt-183 Bluetooth 2.0

    + Ports (COM & LPT)
    -BTPort (COM10 - COM14)
    -BTPort (COM20 - COM21)
    -BTPort (COM6)
    -BTPort (COM65)

I understand that there should be something under system and USB devices, but I don't see anything else.

I used ([http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315539/EN-US/ | http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315539/EN-US/]) this link to view non-connected devices and I see a whole bunch of phantom ports. I do not know how to connect these ports. I tried Bluetooth Com Local, but who does not work either.

I read several posts on this forum about it, but I've not seen a solution. Maybe I missed something? If anyone knows of one, could you please direct me to this solution? Thank you!

At first, I have to say that it will be interesting to know what Toshiba laptop you have and what operating system you are using. I assume you are using Windows XP Home edition. am I right about that?

I use BT on my WXP preinstalled Satellite M70 nearly two years now and everything is working fine. If you can't get this to work using BT more recent battery maybe you need to reinstall your laptop using recovery media delivered.

  • BT stack file TosBTMng.Exe generates 100% of CPU load

I am also facing the problem that the Toshiba Bluetooth Manager (TosBtMng.exe) very often starts a loop and causes a 100% CPU load.

This has happened with older versions of the Toshiba Bluetooth stack and the current version (5.1.0.12).

The affected system is a Tecra S1, BT-Modul and Windows XP SP2.

BT battery installation went well and the laptop starts succesfull while BT is enabled. I also checked for hidden COM-Ports and other tips in this forum, without success.

Blocking seems to occur at different times. Sometimes just after are restarted, by clicking on the tray icon of BT with the right button of the mouse. Then the context menu is shown all too the white box, no entries. He can also try to connect to a device already associated. If I kill the process with the Task Manager, I can restart and he continues to work for a while.

As found in another thread here, I enabled the registration of the API of the Bluetooth Manager and found the following when connecting with the Nokia PC Suite for my mobile phone:

    Call the 00042519 21:55:05 [7208] (TosBtAPI / PCCSTBTP) BtCreateCOMM()-> BtCreateCOMM2()

    00042532 21:56:17 [7208] [TosBtAPI (PCCSTBTP)] call BtGetRemoteDeviceList2()

A new COM port is created successfully (COM23) and a few seconds later the CPU of TosBtMng load goes up to 100%, but no API calls are made. And if you wait long enough the phone are connected and data can be transferred. However, very slowly.

Probably because of the high CPU load a next port COM (COM24) will be created some time later and this process is then repeated once again:
