Toshiba BT stack steals the puppetmaster COM port

Hello

I'm trying to connect my phone with the party program on my computer (master of puppets or perplexed) and 3D for who built a new server com port com3
When my phone connects to his departure from the transition of data but not with the puppetmaster program so it must be with battery Toshiba BT.

I reinstall windows, drivers, puppet master and all of a sudden it works but after reboot, it will have the same problem again.

I found a thread about BT stack who steals the focus to another program, but with no information on how to solve this problem in the forum.

Do I miss...

Hello

Master of puppets - the server is unknown to me but I found some practical information and it seems that you can assign different ports in the preferences-> the device selection

Try to change that and check if it works with a battery of Toshiba BT.

Good luck

  • How do I change the prolific com port device driver 4 to the com port 1

    original title: prolific device driver

When I installed Prolific he assigns the device on com port 4.  I need to assign to com port 1.  If I change my computer 4 to port 1 of the model by using the Device Manager does not recognize the software that I use.  The software must have port 1 affected first comp.

    Hi domjoseph,

1 do you have. what prolific device installed?

    2. What is the model number?

    3. have you installed the driver for the device?

If it helps, try the step below and check out them.

    (a) open Device Manager.

    (b) right-click on the prolific device and click Properties.

    (c) click the "Port Settings" tab, click on the button "Advanced".

    (d) pull down the scroll down bar on the left side and select COM 1 (NOTE: choose one that does not say 'in service' next to him). Click on 'OK '.

    (e) click "OK" again Note that the device will be displayed as being on the same COM port as it was before but will be displayed on the new port, if you close Device Manager, and then open again.

    (f) close the Device Manager. You may need to run the software that came with your device to do rescan the COM ports.

For further assistance, contact the vendor of the device for more information.

  • How to change the settings of the BT COM port with the Toshiba BT stack?

I have a Tecra S11 with Windows7 64 bit and I need to connect via Bluetooth to a remote the BT series device. I want to use the BT interface on board.

The BT remote appliance 38400,8, N-2 (stop to the most common place 1 2 bits). Problem: I find nowhere to change local BT Com port settings.

The physical port HW parameters can be changed. See:
HW COM1 with the port settings: http://i42.tinypic.com/epg5qr.jpg

But I don't get the same tab for the port of BT:
BT COM40 without port settings: http://i40.tinypic.com/24mcduw.jpg

Not even the BACK order 'mode' allows me to modify the ports of BT

Curiously, if I have the COM40 to a virtual machine on the same S11-tunnel (virtualbox), the machine virtual XP * can * change settings and communicate correctly with the remote device. How is that?

Can _How Yes, I change the port COM BT with the Toshiba BT stack settings? _ my version is 8.00.12 (T), which should be the most recent available. I also updated the BIOS.

    Thank you
    Paolo

    Additional details.

I tried to run the application as Administrator: still does not work.

I crossed Win registry with regedit and gave all permissions to all users: still does not work.

With the registry editor, I forced the port in 38400,8, N, 2 in 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE NT\CurrentVersion\Ports': still does not work.

Note that not only the application target complains, but also does not work the PuTTY used as a terminal series.

The Toshiba BT application see the remote device were undetermined, serial port, Dev.B. No provider.

I'm lost and stuck. Advice greatly appreciated.

  • How to use the shared variables to address several Watlow controllers on the same COM port

    Hello

I am using LabVIEW 2010 to control 4 Watlow temperature controllers on a port com 3 are model 96 and 1 is a zone EZ controller. The controller has a unique modbus address and I'm trying to read from and write in the individual records (for example, setpoint closed-loop) variable shared help. I would return the data during playback (even if the data is displayed as invalid), but I am unable to change the value in the registry in writing. How can I be sure that's the Modbus server send commands to the correct controller?

    Chuck

    Hi Chuck,

Sorry for the delay in response, I was away last week. You can create as many servers for Modbus on one COM port that you would like, the only problem you'd see is if you tried to call the port from different locations at the same time. With respect to the documentation to cross, I'd start with the tutorial below for a comprehensive manual of Modbus. There are also quite a few listed under Datalogging and supervisory control Module help topics that may be useful if you want to solve specific issues.

  • PowerConnect 6248 stacking using the front SFP Ports

I am trying to stack two Dell Powerconnect 6248 switches. Currently they are chained together, but I modules fibre for the front sfp ports. Theoretically, I should be able to stack them. But when I try:

Could not set the front panel stacking mode.

    Any ideas? Thank you!

The PCT6200 requires a stack of modules installed in Bay 1 (XG1 XG2) at the rear of the switch. The stacking module uses CX4/Infiniband type stacking spacers.

  • How to manage the data after the serial com port?

    Hi all

I'm new to labview and serial communication. I tried to receive data on external device labview (pic18f452). It's done, but I am getting data as strings. If microcontroller gives "11.25", in labview each letter is delivered to a different as string ("1""1" "". "") "2" "5").. How can I manage data... to make it unique as 11.25, a number constant.

If possible, join some examples with your answers... Thanks in advance.

It seems that you read too fast, read up what an endcharacter probably puts the characters in a string that can translate the string of numbers conversion routines in the palette of the chain.

  • Problem removing battery bluetooth / hidden devices / unpublished COM ports

    (2) the COM ports occupied by Toshiba BT not out (so they cannot be used by another pile of BT) and always appear in the registry

    (3) these new com ports do NOT appear in Device Manager

    Thank you

What COM ports are actually used (must be used) by your current system?

  • Is it possible to use a Toshiba PC Bluetooth Stack as the helmet

    My environment:
    Windows XP SP2
    Toshiba Bluetooth adapter PA3642U
    Toshiba Bluetooth Stack: 5.10

There is a thread with a similar issue dated 2006. ("Can I use computer as a phone headset?") The son said that it is not possible to use a PC (with Toshiba Bluetooth stack) as the headset for my mobile phone.

    Is this always true?

If that's still true, I would like to know if it is possible to get this functionality using the Toshiba stack SDK? Is there an underlying technical problem that makes this difficult to do feature? I am a professional software developer and can, if necessary, make this change, but I'd rather find a solution without writing custom software.

If Toshiba has added this feature can someone tell me how to configure my PC to make it work?

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hello

This feature will come in the future with a new battery of Toshiba BT... but I don't have any calendar... Sorry

SDK is possible please check this [link: http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/bluetooth/?page=faq/sdk]
