  Under Oracle SAMS usually formats 16 blocks at once, but since you use the allocated system extensions the first measure is only 8 blocks so the whole extent is formatted.

Thus, in user_tables total table blocks and empty_blocks must be equal to the value of the block in user_segments WHERE. However, the following results do not give the correct result. My hypothesis is false?

  XXX_SEGMENTS always displays the image in real time. So yes, you'll see xxx_segments.blocks change as soon as the new extent is allocated to the table. But xxx_tables.blocks, empty_blocks, avg_row_legth, etc. are only updated if gather you stats or analyze table (and some of them only via analyze).

  I use firefox for work and use only some sites and this message is really annoying, especially for intranet sites.
  So, I really want to know how to completely disable this type of security controls.

  Here's an interesting situation. Have a Toshiba SD-R5372 of combo on an ABit MB with an Athlon 64 with XP Pro, all day. Works fine until about 6-8 weeks ago when he began to fail to recognize any CD R/Ws. I don't remember what I might have done or installed before noticing the failure. In the BIOS, the optical drive is correctly identified as the master on the main channel (also known as channel 1 on this screen). The HARD drive is a SATA drive and the BIOS correctly identifies residing on channel 3 (reserved for use according to ABit SATA). Insert a fresh out-of-the-box space or a prerecorded CD R/W (whether made from this player or my other on computer B), and the activity winks led about 25 - 30 times then remains solid and turns off only when I eject the disc. The drive is connected using the latest IDE connector on the cable and it is an option as master - all together upward on the primary channel (channel 1).

  In Windows, the drive is totally blocked - it will not just find the CD-R/W drive. I don't see all the files on a CD-R/W drive (even though I know they're there), cannot double-click to open. I can do a right click on the drive in Explorer and get the context menu to eject the disc. And if I try to copy some files, XP will create temporary files, throw up in the bubble 'You files to be written on the CD' but on the wizard burn a Windows CD on the second panel will say "There is no disk in the drive" and if I try to erase CD R/W (using Nero CD/DVD Speed) the drive is not ready, the drive is not for the gray of program out all the functions of the House.

  I've worked really hard to try to fix this! I'be looked around the ' Net for an answer. Uninstalled the Toshiba in Dev Mgr - restarted - no help and XP did find and locate and properly configured the drivers as expected. I completely uninstalled my suite Nero 7.0 and I also used the Nero clean tool - no help (Note: I left installed Nero CD/DVD Speed as the Nero cleaning tool does not touch). I looked for other Roxio/Adaptec and applications as a measure of protection, I also ran RoxieZap.

  I uninstalled Alcohol 120, which therefore also zaps the crud of virtual drive - no help. ASPI shows no layer ASPI flashed the firmware of Toshiba for the last series of firmware (TU56) - no help. (Notice a pattern here...?) In the service console that automatically starts the Service IMAPI - IDE channels are all in DMA mode. • Memory Allocation problem when using JNI

  For a project, we need to interface Labwindows CVI / Teststand with an application written in Java. We use JNI. The code uses JNI_CreateJavaVM to start a JAVA virtual machine to run the Java interface code. The code did run for quite awhile, but now (without any obvious changes on the side of the CVI or on the coast of Java) JNI_CreateJavaVM will fail with the error-4 code, this means that of the JAVA virtual machine failed to start due to the failure of allocation memory. First investigation shows that even if the Windows Task Manager shows approximately 600 M free physical memory, you can allocate in ICB only about 250 M as a single block at the point where we call JNI_CreateJavaVM. Maybe it's a little less because we have - Xmx192m to the JAVA virtual machine to run our code. Unfortunately just to increase the physical memory of the machine of 1.5 G to 2G doesn't change anything.
