  There is no uninstall for Mac Reader program. You can directly delete the application from the Applications folder, which is just trash/Applications/Adobe Reader.app.

  Then you can download Adobe reader from here: http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/

• What totally frustrates me about Apple products.

  In some ways, Apple products are very elegant with features that are all just great.

  And then, that I meet the simpler user only extremely needed feature and completely absent or it runs as if a hacker had developed.

  The feature of specific user that brought this on is the inability to adjust the text size in almost all of the tabs, menus, and basic tools.  It is really puzzling.  Such a brilliant system, in most ways, and, then, these simple expectations are simply ignored.  Inability to use a monitor high resolution, in its native resolution is extremely disappointing.  And, no, this isn't the only case that I find frustrating.  It's just the most apparent.  The "fix" that Apple has provided is really such fraud at the point of being exasperating.  They simply destroy the ability of high resolution doubling, quadrupling pixels that require a solution.  Sometimes I think Apple believes that their users are simpletons.

  Before that everyone says, ' well, do not use Apple, you jerk! ", I must say that I am baffled by this standard response and, in addition, the feeling I get when I'm frustrated like this is that I am in the world of Windows feel like there is no good alternative.  I certainly consider alternative OS out there, such as crashbang or whatever his name.

  Apple has never provided a method to change the user interface much more Blue/Graphite and color contrast. I guess that's the part of the 'brand '.

  You can provide your comments, but as it never happened despite the years of requests, I don't expect much.

  I don't know what software I had, it was pretty old - xp or 2003... But the phone in Microsoft people were just passing me the one to the other... Can anyone help, and probably Microsoft should have a record of all the software that I have purchased and registered...

  How did you restore the computer (method)?  This is a system like Dell, HP, Lenovo, gateway, etc. ?

  If it's a system like that--and it came pre-installed with any operating system you restored to you and used their method to restore the system to factory settings - your support comes from them, not Microsoft.

  The product key for the operating system, if any, should be (in the case of the situation I described) on a sticker on the computer itself.  It would look like the flashing of modes of action here )<-- that="" is="" a="" link,="" click="" on="">

  However, without knowing more (like the specific operating system, how you restored it, why you restored, etc)-probably not able to help much more than that.

  However, I can tell you (after reading: "I have years of data on the computer") you don't probably more - not if you ended up doing a destructive restore of the computer operating system.  Likely * everything * went that you took the trouble to backup to external media before "find you" your computer.  Backups - always King.

• Total frustration with adding event listener

  It's driving me crazy. I tried to do it for a few days now and I can't function. Everything seems to work properly, my images are loaded and land on the stage where I would like to, but I can't drag. It seems that the event listener (which I have highlighted) is not applied. Can someone tell me the error in my ways?  PLEASE?

  
  

  As a note, I did this same thing with the loading of the items in the library, and it works. I copied a lot of my project to test this code and when I load the bitmaps instead of out them of the library, it breaks.

  My guess is you are trying to assign an event listener to an object that does not have one, an object bitmap, even if no error reported by you, I would hedge my bets.  If you place the image into a movieclip and set the event listener for the movieclip it might work... maybe something like...

• E-mail issues

  Now, this is getting really really annoying. Apple dropped the ball here. I spent two hours and I can't save my outlook to mail.app account. I tried everything with imap and smtp addresses. Mail.app not stop saying "unable to verify the user name or password".  I deleted the keychain outlook password too. Set up an account costs simple e-mail you hours and that is completely unacceptable. You can simply not such a simple thing work. Totally frustrated. Is there a link that explains how to set up an outlook account in mail. There are dozens out there on the web and I am not advocating a kind of simple explanation 'add an account '. I try to add an imap account and get the error message. pop does not work I guess. Please can anyone provide a useful answer. Very annoyed.

  They are all supported - Yes, including POP, although crazy hidden way.

  Have you tried to create the account in the system preferences-> Internet accounts?

  Please give a detailed description of the steps you take.

  FWIW, I have no problem creating e-mail accounts in the Sierra.

• Cannot save changes in iWeb

  I recently bought 3 models of 3 companies, because the Apple default iWeb Templates are not sufficient for my business needs.

  I bought 2 iPresentee and iWebThemesPark 1.

  After 4 hours, developing a company web page where I saved constantly my job while using the app to Apple iWeb, I was appalled to realize that my work had actually been saved!

  First, I assumed it was a problem with the new models - but I now believe that it is a type of bug with iWeb - because the problem happens on models from 2 different companies and I even changed my read/write permission in their case by a suggestion from the suppliers of model.

  The symptoms are: I make the text changes, add pic files & delete some items template - and after the backup via file/save or Ctrl/s I exit the application of iWeb. Then when I restart iWeb-NONE of my changes were actually saved!

  I use the last of Apple OSX 10.11.6 & iWeb 3.0.4

  Totally frustrated - any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Do not remember that if this is actually a bug in iWeb, then nothing's going to set for it because iWeb is a product not supported and has been for the last 4 years now.

  I don't understand why you use iWeb to create websites of companies when it is not supported to an old man?  You would be better to create a corporate Web site using something like EverWeb, which is supported and currently developed?

  iWeb all stores in the files domain.sites and that's where everything will be recorded.  If you open iWeb, once again, you may find that things have not been registered, but go and find your domain.sites files and double click on it and you should find here changes.  Domain.sites file is located under your user/Library/Application Support / domain.sites.  Remember that it is your user library you want and NOT the library from your system.  To make your user library, you must go to the menu go to the top and then click on the 'alt' key and it should reveal your user library.

  Apart from that, I would not recommend the use of an obsolete product to create a business website.  Use EverWeb or something else - you can create very nice and professional looking websites of companies using WordPress.org.

  Move now while you can, as once you upgrade to the new Sierra of OSX, iWeb may well not work and there will be no more updates far it - not supported now.

  Time to move on instead of using it to create new sites!

• Restore new iPhone.

  Unless you can remember the password for this backup, you can not use it. I suggest that you keep trying passwords than you think that you may have used until you get totally frustrated and decide to move. You don't get locked after too many attempts, you just cannot use the backup.

  If you find yourself in the situation where you can't get the password, delete the backup and just move. If you keep the encrypted backup, the phone will continue to save and replace the encrypted backup and it will be unusable.

  This happens just before the burning of the film was completed.  I've never had this problem before.  Why does occur and how

  Since then, I've burned literally 100 DVD without that happening.  DVDs are always important to a lot of people, as DVD players are always used.

  Also try following this workflow to help ensure the best DVD video qualty:

  Once the project you want it save it as an image disk via the menu file → save as Disk Image . It will separate from the process of encoding of the burning process.

  To check coding mount the disk image, launch a DVD player and read it.  If it plays OK with DVD, encoding is good.

  Burn burn to disc with utility disk or toasts to the slowest speed (2 x - 4 x) in order to ensure the best quality.  Always use higher quality media: Verbatim, Maxell or Taiyo Yuden DVD-R are recommended in these forums.

  Also, alt print screen and print screen does not work properly with Firefox now.   Hi Rob, thanks for sending me the document.

  I think that the 'partial screen' strange artifacts could indicate that Firefox is not totally compatible with the driver for your graphics card. The usual solution is to disable the use of Firefox hardware acceleration.

  the button Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) > Options > advanced

  In the mini ' General' tab, uncheck the box for "use hardware acceleration when available.

  Which will take effect after you quit and then restart Windows. Any difference?

  I notice that you turn off hardware acceleration for a different reason (https://support.mozilla.org/questions/948616) about 14 months ago, but after using Firefox reset function, which would default to 'on '.

  I used to be able to respond to an email and it show up under the box. Then I could add my comments to this announcement with the original mail in it. Now it don't.

  Also, I used to be able to go on a site a cut-and - paste or copy - paste to put in my document.

  The workflow default scanning set up to scan documents in black and white. Be sure to change the settings for scanning to scan color documents:
  
  1 open the HP utility and select your device.
  2. based on Scan Settings open the "Scan to Computer".
  3. click on the tab scan tasks.
  4. Select the affected shortcut and click on change... (or double-click on the shortcut).
  5. in the section of scanning from an HP device, click the blue triangle or button view details to expand the menu.
  6. in the expanded menu now, open the drop-down next to the Mode
  7. now select the color option, and then click OK to save the changes. The next scanned using this workflow is displayed in color.

• Technical information of the MK2555GSXF hard drive from Toshiba.

  My MBP (MacBookPro) contains a MK2555GSXF of TOSHIBA 250 GB hard drive that crashed. After checking this site for an hour, I am still unable to find technical data referring to this player. The research methods of this site have got to be the worst performance of a search engine I've seen for a long time.

  When I enter the Product Code, there is absolutely NO information is associated with the exception of the ridiculous questions on all the other products in addition to that I was interrogated on.

  Even the most banal search engine would show at least some information, even the product exist initially. Absolutely NO information about specific Toshiba products.

  In my state of total frustration now altered, so I had use in establishing an account and ask that obvious on a forum, that once more still more delays.

  SO here's the question I tried to find the answer to for the last hour and a half.

  Hi, I have a 6 + 64 GB iPhone a year and 3 month old device.

  I noticed that since I downloaded and installed to 9.3 last IOS, I can't open a URL or a direct link on any of my text Messages and emails!  I click on the URL and nothing happens!  Help!  It's totally frustrating.  I shouldn't have installed the latest iOS.  Please tell me that there is an IOS update that corrects this frustration!
