Touch screen works not properly (yoga 700)

There are parts of the screen (near the Center, slightly to the left) doesn't react don't not to my fingers.

For example, on the desktop, when I touch a place for 5 seconds and remove, it will act as a right click and a menu will appear.

But near this spot, it does not respond at all or respond partially (as if I touch the repeatlessly part, she will act as drag if I move but don't wor as good lclick matter for a long time, I leave my finger there) or worse are circles where my finger is supposed to be like 2 cm lower.

Software problem?
Or in need of repair?

Edit: Nevermind, google autour and someone suggested restarting and it seems to work.

Good thing this is not permanent, should have done it sooner.

The problem was actually the ghost/Ghost Touch problem.

Google and you'll find a fix for Yoga 3 which works with it too much since they use the same screen.

Lenovo should have fixed before shipping it that since he already discovered in an older model long enough with the same screen, but they were simply screwed too lazy and used the same buggy one.

I have TouchSmart HP ENVY 15-j021tx. Recently, I refreshed its OS and installed HP OEM Version 8.1 of Windows.
Now, it is completely up to date and I noticed that my touch screen works like a mouse.

When I type in a point it click here - it is normal but

When I drag something (e.g. scroll on the screen of the metro), it doesn't scroll but the mouse pointer starts to move with my finger

Similarly when I slide up/face down starts to move through a Web page the pointer, but the page does not move.

This really annoying because I can't use any gueature like the edge for Windows 8 charms or switching between applications.

In info PC it says "no pen or touch input is available for this view.

Here is the image of the Manager of peripherals and PC Info.

So, I got this problem fixed.

In devices, Interface devices Manager, there is an additional device installed namely Touch USB peripheral of entry.

Uninstalling this device does everything is normal.

The charms and each touch guesture now works normally.

    Hello

I had the same problem when I upgraded my TouchSmart 320-1030. I got the touch screen works in this way:

    1. Press Windows + X logo.
    2. Select Device Manager from the list.
    3. Click on the small arrow next to Interface devices to expand the list.
    4. Click on the touch screen driver (in my case, Voltron NextWindow touch screen - your driver may be different).
    5. Right click and select Disable from the list.
    6. Click Yes in the dialog box that asks you if you are sure you want to disable the touch screen driver.

    Another option:

    1. Press Windows + X logo.
    2. Select Device Manager from the list.
    3. Click on the small arrow next to display adapters to expand the list.
    4. Click the driver.
    5. Right click and select Disable from the list.
    6. Click Yes in the dialog box that asks you if you are sure you want to disable the driver.

Another thing: I had to reinstall the NextWindow Voltron touchscreen. I went to HP drivers and downloads page, download the WINDOWS 7 driver, which was under pilot - Original.

  • Touch screen works not? You will need to save?

WWon can't trust me to the computer I use to back up as the screen of my toych does not work?

    is it all the same?

What iOS version do you use? What version of iTunes? If your touch screen does not work, have no way around that, unless you happened to have iCloud activated before this backup. If you did, you should be able to plug the iPhone to power while connected to WiFi and it must safeguard. But if you just backup iTunes, then with a non-functional screen, you can't back up.

  • Double screen of Windows 7, second screen works not properly

I recently spent professional XP to windows 7 Home premium. I had a strange dual screen (ie. a monitor and a TV), with windows 7, I got a new drive hard (Hitachi sister hard 1 TB SATAII 7200 RPM 32 MB Cache - OEM) and installed windows 7, I have no other hardrives installed. the problem is I have a work screen (the main one) and the other is blue all the time, if I move the mouse to the edge it will disappear as if the screen works but do not reappear on the second screen. This could be the cause?

  • HP G60 screen works not properly, a blue tint on it

Hello everyone, I hope I can get help with this on my laptop because it has a weird blue tint that has appeared on the screen when a friend knocked at the back of my screen with a wooden mallet.

The tint still allows me to work it's just boring.

If I turn the screen at an angle, it turns back to normal

I have reason to believe that it is a hardware problem or something wrong with a backlight.

The graphic card works fine (I can play Starcraft II, Battlefield 1942 and other games perfectly fine).

I can connect the laptop to an external monitor and that works very well also.

If somone can help me with this that would be great.

Also if it is to be dismantled then that would be nice.

  • HP 15-f010wm Notebook PC: touch screen does not work

I have a HP 15-f010wm Notebook PC (ENERGY STAR), and it is supposed to be a touch screen. I used it for about 4 months and the touchscreen operated accordingly. It ended yesterday when I turned on my laptop, the touch screen works not at all. I followed all the troubleshooting steps to restore my touch screen without result. Also, in the PC Info screen, Pen and Touch information shows that "no pen or touch input is available for this view. What can I do to recover my touchscreen?

    * All software and drivers are up-to-date

    * Anti-virus has been on and does a full system scan

    * Does not fall or struck before hand

    * Is not subject to the immense heat/cold

    * Generally a study school laptop table

    Hi _jaspernavarro,

The next step would be to seek to do a full System Recovery to restore the laptop to the factory settings. Back up your data on a USB flash drive or an external hard drive. If the touch screen still doesn't after that then, give us a call. You can reach HP Total Care at 1-800-474-6836 in North America or Start here if you live outside of North America.

  • My touch screen does not work.

My touch screen does not work. Sometimes, and other times I have to reboot. I restored my phone, but it still has the same problem. Any suggestions?

The following information is taken from the HT201406 of the Apple KB article:

If the screen of your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch does not respond to touch

If your touch screen responds slowly, inconsistently, or not responding at all, follow these steps.

    Check your touch screen

Make sure your hands are clean and dry, then try the following steps:

    1. If you have a case or a protective screen on your device, try removing it.
    2. Clean the screen with a soft, slightly damp, lint cloth.
    3. Unplug your unit.
    4. Restart your device. If you are unable to restart it, you can force restart your device.

If your touch screen is still unresponsive as it should, contact the Support technique Apple or make your tablet in an Apple Store or Apple authorized service provider.

Adjust your settings for tactile 3D

If you have an iPhone 6s or later that does not properly respond to tactile 3D press, you can adjust the settings:

    1. Go to settings > general.
    2. Click Accessibility > Touch 3D.
    3. Then set the sensitivity of the setting.

  • Acer ft200hql touch screen does not work w / HP Pavilion dv7-5000, Win 7 Pro 64-bit

After searching for and buying touch screen FT200HQL, it does work with my HP Pavilion laptop dv7-5000, Windows 7, 64-bit.  I have the USB cable is connected (even if it says that it is optional in user's Guide - not an option if you want the touchscreen to work).  I tried it with an Acer, Gateway and an another HP Pavilion laptop (all Win 7), & it works perfectly with them, but not w / mine.  All my drivers are up to date.  (Although there is not driver site Acer for the FT200HQL for Win 7 & I don't think that what they have listed as a driver for Win 8 is a pilot).  A Microsoft Search to ensure the compatibility of the FT200HQL compatible shows and there's nothing I should do.  Help, please!  I really like the monitor & don't want to send again, but I bought it mainly for the touch screen feature.

  • Qosmio DX730 and Win8 - touch screen does not work

    Hello

My wife's parents bought a Toshiba Qosmio DX730 (model PQQ11A). They have recently upgraded to Windows 8 and the touch screen does not work now.

The problem is lack of drivers (the monitor driver reports as a generic PnP monitor).

I have went on the Toshiba site and selected downloads driver for the appropriate model and installed a number of drivers, including recommended NVidia display drivers. There is no drivers on the site that seem to install support for Toshiba touchscreen.

Are there no drivers available for this model Windows 8? If not, is there another solution? If Yes, where can I find them. Any help very appreciated because they have nice and bought computer Windows 8 so they could use the touch functions.

    Thank you.

    Hello

On the page of the Toshiba UE driver you can find drivers for Win 8.
As far as I know that you will install the Toshiba display driver for the touch function works correctly.

    I found this driver.
Please check if you can install this:
