Tousmart HP tx2 (1015AU)

I'm still new storta on this laptop.

I was playing a game on the laptop, one of these games in HP, so theres nothing wrong with it, no viruses etc.

And when I'm out of the game, the screen is bigger than before. So I went into the control panel and checked the display size, and the smallest size is chosen. Then, I selected the larger size and disconnected. When I reconnected on is significantly larger, then I went back to the control panel and chose the smaller size then I disconnected. When I logged on the screen was slightly smaller but still large.

I don't know what happened and I have no idea how to solve this problem.

Help, please.

Thanks for reading this =)

Disregard this message, I just fixed it

I read somewhere on the site of HP windows 7 drivers for this TX2 - 1027CA won't be available until October 2009. Still I use it now, and the main system works well. There is a problem in the fingerprint reader and perhaps the webcam for me at this point. Until that HP provides drivers updated, I was wondering if there may be versions beta drivers for the TX2 I could try. I am ready to continue using windows 7, but I would try to install the drivers updated as soon as possible. Maybe it's two months away and one month after the availability of the operating system for MSDN subscribers (several companies and developers). I guess this list of reading, some other people who have found what is and is not possible on the TX2 today under 7. Could you give us a brief run down on what drivers are working or not working do not? Fingerprint reader and webcam are of great interest for beginners. My goal is to run what can work.

The WebCam driver installation is not necessary. You can use the MediaSmart WebCam software to test

  • playing dvd or cd on tx2-1050ed

I have a touchsmart tx2-1050 ed but after 3 times going back to Hp it still has problems reading dvd or cd. During playback dvd mode full screen (in mediaplayer and dvd hp software to) display the (play/pause forward backward) bar jumps frequently as it should be when you switch to mouse. In the meantime, you see a point to the screen as the mousedot that you see when you bring the pen close to the touchscreen.

With cd or any live music, you often hear ticks or some dips, very shortly.

I am now offered to get a new, but I would like to know if anyone can confirm this problem is not associated with type and that a new will most likely solve this problem.

Unfortunately, another had the same problem. I'm surprised that I can't find people with the same problem, I was now 2 parts with the same problem. I find it strange that a multimedia laptop is not able to read a dvd without problem. Now, I chose another laptop, unfortunately without a touchscreen. Maybe in a few years...

  • HP Touchsmart Tx2 1024ca.

So a few months I posted because that randomly my serial number and the name of the product from my Touchsmart Tx2 laptop disappeared to be replaced by 1234567890 and Soyuz 3.0.  I was correct, without being able to find a solution because the computer itself still worked.

When I turn on my laptop (running windows 7 Home premium) I can single connection before she pronounces it now wants to restart without letting me see the blue screen that says. Or he hangs up and freezes and I have to reboot myself.

The same thing happens in Mode safe, apparently by chance I can connect at times.

Tried to get this back to an earlier point, problems persist.
CD/DVD drive is recognized by the computer / device but Manager does more or the other.

Currently, I have no money to replace my laptop, so this isn't an option, but if anyone has any ideas / tips, they would be greatly appreciated. Because now I'll see if I can fix the restarting so I can see what the beautiful blue screen has to tell me. Will update this if I can get more information.

    Edit:

    Noticed before computer shutdown errors do not have to be turned on;

    0x0000000A & 0x0000003D.

Transferred and took my computer to my girl in town IT probably will never know exactly what is happening, but it is back in working order.

  • clean install on tx2

clean install tx2 needed to change the boot order in bios upgrade instructions need to win 8 64-bit Windows 7 32 bit

    Hello:

There is no need to change the boot order to boot from the flash drive, DVD or USB.

With the w8 x 64 installation on the computer, restart it, and at the beginning of the HP welcome screen, tap key the key F9 to start the start time menu.

You should be presented with a list of bootable devices to boot from.

Select all that you need start hit (DVD for example), the Enter key and follow the instructions on the screen.

You can read the info on the link below to upgrade to W8.

You will not be able to have all programs to be transferred via because you upgrade an OS 32-bit to a 64 bit OS, but you can find some other useful information.

  • TX2-1025dx keyboard problems

    Hello

I bought a laptop computer to the touchsmart tx2-1025dx around June 5, 2009. I used about 3 times since I bought it. The last time was in the works to make some AutoCAD drawing. While using it, I noticed that some of the numbers (in the line just below the F1 to F12 keys) has stopped working. As a matter of fact, only the number '5' and '6' keys work. I can't get the missing numbers by using the 'Num Lock' function on the keyboard. I noticed that many users (more in the business forum) have problems with their keyboard is completely non-functional in some cases; with no report of everything be partially functional. However, I tried a few of the solitions has recommended the following:

    (1) I'm tired re-booting.

    (2) I tried updating the BIOS to F.14

    (3) I tried to uninstall all the mice and the software keyboard from Device Manager and re - install by using HP Recovery Manager.

    (3) I tried updating the software of HP - QuickButtons (?).

    (4) I tried to unplug the laptop and remove the battery, then sliding and holding the power button on the position for three minutes (in one instance for a couple of hours with a perfectly sized hex bits), then re - plug the battery and power supply and re-start.

    (5) I tried a system restore to factory settings.

    (6) I have tried resetting the BIOS to default factory settings, save and reboot (where I also discovered the keys do not work, so there must be something at the BIOS level, maybe hardware related).

None of these options worked. The keys still don't work... the funny thing is that I got them to start work ONCE at the login screen, then in windows. After a re-start however... that's all...

Does anyone have any ideas (other than replacement under warranty... which is, I think I'm going to go). I want to just make sure that I really tried everything.

No seriously, there is not "Any" key.

Thanks for the information, that's what I needed to help me make a decision.

  • TX2-1020us digitizer cursor gets stuck 1cmx1cm of the upper left corner

    I have a tx2-1020us

Sometimes, the stylus cursor takes over and gets stuck about 1cmx1cm from the upper left corner of the screen if the screen is 90 degrees or to move away it from the keyboard when you use it as a laptop. If less than 90 degrees, when this happens, it's somewhat usable but the slider still jumps at the skylight at random.

I've known as a locking of the keyboard once but removing the power and the battery it is resolved.

To troubleshoot, I ran the HP and N-trig utilities and they found no problem so even the question that happens. I downloaded the latest drivers from this site and install, I searched on Google and Asus seems to have a similar problem but I don't know if this applies. Sometimes, when I reboot it goes far, other times it is not. Deactivation of the first N-Trig driver stop the question but then of course, do not work the key features.

I installed the software (for most, MS Office, Corel PSP and NeatWorks) and installed a scanner NeatWorks and GPS MS on it since I bought it last Friday (not connected when it is the case).

Has anyone else seen this, they are of a resolution, I would stay before 15 days runs out?

    Problem solved!

Turns, I have a desk lamp fluorescent light about 15 cm from the laptop.

When the lamp is on and the laptop is plugged in, it does the cursor thing erased. Unplug the laptop or move the lamp 25cm and everything works perfectly. Go figure.

  • TX2-1020ea computer laptop connector ZIF - how it opened?

    Hello
I have a HP Touchsmart TX2 1020ea laptop which is currently in pieces. I got everything that have stripped down as directed by the HP maintenance manual but am able with a ZIF connector that connects the audio panel with headphone and microphone to the motherboard plugs. HP refer to it as a ZIF but is not like the traditional type with the bar based on the cable. All other ZIF from PC connectors have opened without problem. I have problems with that different is that in addition to the cable in the connector, there is also a plastic label that comes out. There is no easily identifiable moving parts to the ZIF. Now, tempting as is to use the tab plastic as a grip just to pull on the cable, I also need to be able to reintegrate them when the whole PC.

If anyone knows how this particular ZIF works please? Some pictures are attached.

    Thank you.

Quite. PC fixed and set backs.

    Thanks for your help.

  • 1010ea TX2 on Windows 7 screen wont turn.

    Hello

I have a Touchsmart TX2 1010EA. I recently installed windows 7 ultimate on it. It came with Vista.

The installation went perfectly, and most of the features worked the first time. the only thing that is not working what is essential is that the screen does not turn. the three buttons on the right side of the screen do not work and when I turn the screen around it remains in its position. It is a major pain in the butt!

All solutions? I looked at the HP site but I don't know which driver should I install.

    Thank you

    Hello.

The driver for these buttons on the side of your screen is named HP Quick Launch Buttons. It is under the driver - keyboard, mouse and input devices category on the page of the HP driver.

If your screen is still not running, you can try to reinstall your video drivers by using one posted on the HP page, or by getting the last one of ATI Web site. Make sure to uninstall your current driver before re-install.

  • HP TX2 finger calibration problems

I am having trouble with the calibration of touch of the finger on my TX2 so I ran the calibration routine.

He plays, without recognizing the keys in a particular corner.

I can press somewhere near this corner, a few cm of distance, but it doesn't recognize any pressure on the cross.

It's always the same corner, one that is down right when the computer is in normal phone mode.  (Or the upper left if I bend down in tablet with battery mode to the other direction.)

This has happened for a long time, ever since I first tried calibration it.  I notice that I have already asked about it in this forum in January and while I had a lot of views, not a single person responded.

Is it just a touch digitizer doubtful or can be solved with the software?  I bought my computer in October last year, so I hope that I might be able to get this treated as a warranty claim...

    Moku

If this problem is with only one corner of the screen, I suspect that it is a hardware problem. Please get intouch with the Technical Support @ 1-800-HPINVENT team. If they diagnose too like a hardware problem, you can get the notebook repaired under warranty...

  • Blue screen during installation of Windows XP on my Touchsmart TX2

    Hey guys.

l am trying to install Windows XP on my new HP Touchsmart TX2, but the startup configuration every time l, the Tx2 stops with a blue screen when loading drivers. l tried with several discs, even those created with nLite and understood the SATA drivers, but nothing has worked.

Does anyone else have this problem?

    Thank you

    Nightmare

    @Nightmare,

You need to integrate your drivers Sata (only x 86 drivers) with nLite.

Here are the Sata drivers for you. Just unRAR it drivers with Winrar. (This driver is different then what gave you Cheryl.)

Here you will find the file .doc with guide how to integrate this with Windows XP Sata driver. (You will need to open the Microsoft Office).

Here you will find the file with the same guide *.pdf . (You must open the Acrobat Reader software. Download link for this program here. Select your language and your system it.).

Also, remember that you use at least version of WinXP SP2 . If you have not got the version SP2 here you can download this service pack and here you have a guide to how to integrate this with XP file written by nLite.

In nLite, you can even burn your new XP CD with these changes.

I hope this will solve your problem.
