  Hi - I have a very strange phenomenon on my MacBook Pro laptop. It happens in POST or FILEMAKER or even WORD. Whenever I type text field (if its filemaker) or page (if word or mail) suddenly moves to the top of the screen, as if it were on ice! I have no idea why this is happening, but basically whenever I am typing, this movement of strange window occurs.

  If someone knows what this might be?

  The scrolling feature is controlled by your trackpad.   If you move your hand or a finger too close to the side of the trackpad, you will end up near the top of the scrolling window.  It is sensitive to heat.

  You can adjust the settings under Apple menu-> System Preferences, and even choose to use an external mouse instead.

  I had this problem for quite a long time. Initially, I thought that it was due to an update to Windows XP, but I couldn't find any message on newspapers when the laptop crashes. I reinstalled XP many times to get rid of any incompatibility related to the software, but even with a new installation, it was happening.

  I realized recently after several tests that the problem occurred more frequently when you move the mouse (trackpoint or touchpad) just after the start of the system (cold start or start of hibernation). What I discovered is that this will happen is no longer if I suspend the laptop after starting the system, do not touch the mouse.

  The symptoms are that Windows freezes. No activity at all HD, the system responds to any keyboard and mouse input. If I close the lid of the portable computer system is not put into hibernation. The only way to regain normal operation is pressing the button for a few seconds, then the system turns off, and then turn on normally.

  All the drivers are up to date.

  Try to remove the battery... If the battery is dead, it could give you this problem...

• No mouse works, all recognized devices, the strange slider movement

  I have Vista Ultimate 64 - bit SP2. I have a Logitech MX Revolution mouse and used a Microsoft wireless mouse and a Logitech Wireless Mouse Nano to test.

  I have been using the MX mouse for a long time without any problem. Then the mouse froze on screen. I restarted and since no mouse really work.

  The Manager of devices, says all is OK and shows the most recent drivers for all. I can remove all devices, reboot and install only a mouse - same problem.

  I have two big clues here. ((1) the device is recognized by Windows and works correctly (according to DevMan anyway) and 2) there is a few clicks of a mouse - but it's very random, strange little movement and is NOT connected to any movement of the physical mouse.

  The last clue makes me think that the e/s of the USB mouse was redirected to nowhere and the system is looking at a communication port that occasionally sends a signal interruprets Vista as being the movement of the mouse.

  Also, when I first installed the mouse Nano (same USB interface wireless), he worked for a few minutes, then frozen. I can't fix that, except turn off the mouse and turn it back on - then it may or may not work again.

  I also have a wireless Microsoft (not even wireless) keyboard, and who never stopped working. I can browse almost anything with the keyboard.

  I removed all Windows updates and uninstalled the drivers and software for all mouse devices. I also uninstalled all programs recently installed/updated and then rebooted - no change.

  The point TO make is that the cursor on the screen moves sometimes randomly on its own in ways weird and that it is absolutely not related to a physical movement of the mouse. The same motion occurs when no physical device is connected and no driver or other software on the machine for the mouse.

  You can check the Advanced Interaction Panel? You have a note attached to the interactive objects in the simulation? If so, check the desired option Quiz, more specific preferences.

• jerk strange movement clip directly after having chained transition

  Hi guys,.

  I was going along very well add clips to a timeline, then adding a transition 'cross dissolve"between each of them. each clip is about 3 to 6 seconds.  These video clips are added to the timeline on the top audio locked with a song about it. I use the "overlay" feature to add the clips.

  On some clips, there is a strange movement jerky at the beginning of the clip and just after the transition. the scene seems to jump to any 2-3 images.

  so, I deleted the fade ran into and reinforced through each image one by one.  No jerkiness.  then I put in the transition and it's just after the beginning of the clip during the transition.

  This does not happen on all of them, some. I tried to cut some framing away the video choppy, reducing it.  Add the transition, now choppy new part is there.

  Has anyone seen this? What is a setting? I use PPO5.5 on a Mac OS 10.6.6 / Intel 2.66gz / 8 GB of memory. a free 1 TB with 600Gig drive.

  The "handles" are there in the original media, all right.  The problem is the part of the clip is another blow, this is what you see in the transition.  You must shorten the time you use.  Developed at least half the length of your transition spent the beginning of the photo you want to use and end (point) at least half the length of the transition before the next shot.

  Yes, the Ripple Edit can be used to do this.  The help file will have the details.

• Stabilize the movement: new trackpoint?

  I often like to pan in all landscapes, but I always a few jerks in the movement of the Pan - I do not know whether to blame my tripod or my arms.   When you reach the frame where you want to shift your point in the track, place your cursor within the area of internal search (but not above the center of the cross) and hold down the ALT key. This will cause the slider switch view to a small white arrow and icon. Hold the alt key down and drag the tracker where you want to continue tracking. This will offset the search boxes but leave the point of attachment (the cross), where he was, then you won't get a break in the way that results.

• Flash CS6 acting strange when exporting in .mov

  First problem: reached the end of an animation, and after clicking on test movie, only she launched a small empty box instead of the movie. • Large number of objects - strange movement

  Hi all

  My current game has a large number of objects in motion (but not too big) - approximately 100 moving on the screen at once.  Most of them are balls and very small enterprises (e.g. 16 x 16). I use the GPU mode.  All images are bitmap images, also I use objects for all pool and my bullets and enemies etc are stored in linked lists (which are faster than the <>vectors).  All the bullets share the same bitmapData.  There are maybe 15 different bitmapData in use.

  In certain situations — usually after the unleashing of a storm of ball any (say 30 balls fly out at once in all directions of the drive)-graphics behave oddly.  The framerate is still high, but some of the bullets will move in a sort of staggered way rather than sweetness.  They will move forward for a bit, slow down or stop and then pull it off once a little.  This tends to happen to the edges/corners of the screen, while the action in the middle is ok.

  If anyone noticed something like this before?

  The only other thing of any important consequence is a bitmapData that covers the entire screen in the background.  It's bitmapData is actually 0.25% of the width and height of the screen and then stretched 400% to adapt.  Whenever an enemy is destroyed "splatte" is displayed in the bg, which then needs to be updated.

  Sorry everyone. It is my own stupid mistake.

  I followed it it down to my code which removed bullets from the linked list when they left the screen. This would cause the rest of the list is not to treat up to the next section.  With a large number of bullets, leaving the screen at the same time, this produced pretty nifty effects.

• Strange nattering in the movie (avi) on export...?

  I edited my film with Premiere Pro. I exported it comp AVI/DV NTSC (29), AVI 1,067.   Was beautiful. Then, I watched the movie exported and noticed there was a continuous light clicking throughout the movie... I opened the first and I saw, it was still audible in the program! I was puzzled, as before I have heard. The sound of the film has been edited on another computer, AN audio file, (macintosh aiff). So I checked the file original sound in first, not on the timeline, but in a separat window, and there is NO click...

  Then I thought it might be a mismatch due to the fact that the audio file was done on a mac (mac aiff) and mine is a PC. So I talked to the sound editor and showed him what happened. Clicks in the exported file.

  I have opened first to show him, but eventually clicks was is no longer there!

  So I canceled the file audio and re-imported there, large, no and clicking the timeline... so I exported the film once again, 4 hours... and once again it is in the exported avi file.

  (and on the DVD I burned and then, also, that I HAD to do because I had a date deadline for a festival).

  I so NOOOO CLUE AT ALL how to avoid this mysterious clicking! (This is a weak and frequent clicking, like 7 times per second and not rhythmic)

  If you know what this might be, please tell me! I'm desperate!

  In PrPro, you can assign the timecode of frames Audio Units. Then, this ARTICLE will give you some tips on the treatment of OOS (Out Of Sync) issues. Not sure why change the length, as he did. I've not met before.

  PS - If you're still going to DVD/BD, you want to make sure that your audio is 100% equal to your video, or just a little shorter than the video. Normally, I add 02 seconds of black video and Dip - to-black. All the ends of Audio about the sec 01. mark in this little video Black.

  It is normal for it to become hot streaming videos. It is not the browser, but you can test by using a different browser. In regards clicking sounds that could be a hard drive (if your model has one) or a fan. If there's something to fix it should be taken for repair. You can make an appointment at the Apple Store - Genius Bar store.

  I have a Mac as my main computer, a laptop running windows 8.1 as my secondary (portable) backup, my wife has an IPad, I have an IPad, and we have Apple TV connected to our tv room. How can I go on the sharing of multimedia files (music and film) between all my devices? I use ITunes on my i Mac and Windows laptop to share media, but I would like to have a central repository for all media files and access them from all of my devices.

  That is what iCloud is for. Of course, you need an account iCloud with enough storage to hold all your files.

  It's a laptop?  I bet it's the touchpad is too sensitive.  If your computer manufacturer provides all the controls for their touchpad, you might be able to lower the sensitivity.  Some brands of keyboards have even a 'palm check' feature brand that tries to intelligently block the accidental keys.  To see if HP includes one of these options, see your owner's manual, or browse the 'mouse options' in the control panel to see if they have.

  Or if they don't give you any configuration option, you can try the low-tech method: put a card on the touchpad to reduce sensitivity.  Some people even strip on one side so that they can "go back on top of the map' and use the touchpad, and then let the decline of the card back down on.

• Power moves from AC to battery at random, with a strange LED flashes code

  From time to time, on a regular basis, I'll have my laptop go battery power even if it is plugged.  When it does this, the led power and battery charge flashing start.  This happens usually after the laptop has been for a little while, but sometimes it will start to do so as soon as I turn it on.  Often, I can run just after that I have unplug the power adapter and plug it back, although it generally takes a few tries, and it is usually only a temporary fix.

  Really, I just want to know what it means when the two leds blink.  I could not find this combination in textbooks or anywhere online.
