  Hey, guys:
  
  I was wondering if you could have any link or examples to show how to make a form with report and a form of inclusion in the same page, these two forms are related to the same table. Our customer wants that a user can add a new row to the table in a form and see all lines created by this user in a report, the report should provide link change as well. the problem is: whenever I inserted a new line or change a line or delete a line, and submitted and return to this page, all hidden elements lost their values, this report is empty, and some display only items also lost their values. Could someone give me any suggestions?

  So, the problem is essentially with page elements lose their session state values when re-loading of the page. How do you define values for the elements of the hidden page? You have default values defined for those? They are based on the database column? What is the "Source" parameter for these items on the page? It is set to "Always, replace any value in session state"? You have any process of 'Empty the Cache', which is reset these values to null element?

  What is your version of the Apex?

  I would recommend that you have installed for example in apex.oracle.com. This would help to better understand the issue.

  I created a region with report, hidden item, display only point and a single button.
  
  Now, I want to report is displayed first and then show only, then the button.
  But somehow the item displayed is displayed first then report and then the button.
  
  What to do to change?

  Make sure that the point of view from the region is one of

  Body of page template (1. elements located under the content area)
  Body of page template (2 items below the content of the region)

  and is not

  Body of page template (3 items above content area)

  This is the part ' elements above/below the content of the region "who controls where are display the elements of the region.

• How to add a "create and create another" button to the form

  I have an entry form on a table with multiple select LOV lists and a text field. To facilitate data entry, the user wants to create several records, one at a time, staying on the same page of the form. Integrated features APEX adds the record and returns the user to the page of report.
  
  The user wants to create the first record by clicking the Create button, stay on the form with all the values LOV (not clearing cache), change one or two choice LOV and the text field and click the button "Create and create another". The user will stay on the form before clicking on the button "Cancel".
  
  I've changed the direction on the form to call himself. Text field and LOV values remain, but the 'Create' button disappears to add another. Of course, I need to run the process Get PK to get the following for the new record sequence number.

  If you use the default configuration, I believe you want to erase the PK field (and now others) on the branch similarly to "Create and create another", as it is the default criterion to determine if the Create button is shown.

• A user with ACCESS and CREATE automatically get FUSION?

  I am running into an issue while using OWM (10.2.0.4.2) and granting of privileges. I have 3 levels of users: a Viewer (ACCESS_ANY_WORKSPACE), the editor in Chief (CREATE_WORKSPACE) and the Auditor (full control). I want to have my editor can do, it of having access to any workspace, be able to create their own workspaces and do not have the ability to MERGE their workspaces back to live. Without ACCESS_ANY_WORKSPACE, they cannot see their own workspaces.
  
  I revoked ACCESS and CREATE from the PUBLIC. When I grant CREATE_WORKSPACE to my editor, they get full control of this workspace without FUSION. When I add in ACCESS_WORKSPACE or ACCESS_ANY_WORKSPACE when they create a new workspace, they are granted full control on this workspace including the MERGER.
  
  Is it possible to be able to have a user have access to all areas of work, being able to create their own workspaces, but not have them able to merge workspaces? The editor has not any MERGER of the privileges granted, and I can not revoke FUSION of a workspace that they have created.
  
  Any thoughts?

  Hi Mike,.

  Users have always full privileges on any space they create. The only additional privilege that is required to merge the child workspace is the privilege to ACCESS the parent workspace. Given that you grant the user ACCESS_ANY_WORKSPACE, they would have all the necessary privileges to merge, and there is no way to avoid this without removing one or more of these privileges.

  However, one possibility would be to create a trigger that only run during merge operations using dbms_wm. SetTriggerEvents and triggered an error every time one user other than the auditor tried to merge a workspace. The other possibility is to create a separate user to create all the workspaces. The listener would still have the ACCESS_ANY_WORKSPACE privilege, but would not be able to merge the workspace without privilege is granted explicitly because they possess is more working space.

  I need help step by step on how to fix the problem I have with the forms and data collection.

  We have created a PDF form and configure security so that the form cannot be modified.  It's an official form, so we can have people who are making changes.

  When sent to the users, they could fill out the form fields but will not record it.

  We saved as a PDF form extended to activate the drive carrier.

  When completed and sent by e-mail as a PDF file saved, I could not remove security without making one to save the file.

  This makes the whole process because we collect about 200 of these forms and since it is not possible to automate the process of SaveAs, we would have to do this one at a time.

  At this point, we could remove the security of all files and merge data from the worksheet form.

  I'm doing this all wrong?  There must be a better way to do this.

  You don't specify what you have in place, so I'll assume that you have not selected security settings: 'enable copying of text, images and other content.

  If you do not select this, Acrobat will not allow you to extract the data from the form, whether or not the form is Reader-enabled. If you do not enable it, you will be able to extract the data from the form and the function 'Merge data in spreadsheet files' work.

  Yes, they don't seem to listen to the needs of end users. A button magnification on Sony or someone else handle would be a useful and welcome addition by a lot of shooters out there.

• Very strange bug with AIR and native process (Windows 7, EXE)

  Hi all!

  The situation is:

  I did an Application AIR, inside which a native process - running EXE file.

  I use Flash CC as IDE and tried to use the compilation as EXE with AIR 2.6 and 3.6 - results are the same.

  So I insert inside a control if the nativeprocess is supported or not and the native process is supported all the time.

  When I come to install the application and run it - the first attempt is good - everything works as a must: internal EXE is called by my Application with the necessary parameters so long I need.

  However if I close the application, then if it run not new - internal EXE is not starting at all, depends on number of attempts to restart the application.

  Then only is to uninstall, install back and then you'll be a session more successful EXE-internal requests, until the forthcoming resumption of the application.

  That's all.

  I tried to "google it" but without success. The bug is probably very rare.

  Help me please?

  Update: compiling with the Flash IDE of CC, he works all the time with no problems.

  I have two SQL query reports that each has an apex_item.checkbox and two processes for each report.  A report/process works very well.  It gives me an error of invalid number.

  In addition, another query SQL (editable report) gives me the following error when using the Multi line process, delete.

  When I got a report from SQL query (with box and a process) and the query SQL (editable report) everything worked.  It stopped working when I added another SQL query report (with box and a process).

  The other SQL query has the following: apex_item.checkbox(2,b.file_id,'UNCHECKED') ""

• Create a button with a text layer label

  Hi guys.  Looking for advice on how best to implement a button with a text label.  Initially, I created a rectangle object on a lower layer and with the text in the upper layer through the text tool.  When I group the two objects, and create the button, the text is readable in my InDesign (document) computer screen, but the minute I've put it on my iPad button becomes unreadable and pixelated.  I tried different approaches by moving the text outside the Group of button layer does not display the text at all.  Has anyone experience this problem?  If Yes, what is the best practice?  Thanks in advance.

  If the text is contained in the button, it will be rasterized at the correct resolution to be beautiful on your folio of target dimensions. Unfortunately we do not support vector in option for buttons.

  I do not know what your button design, but a common approach is to put the text of the button on the background of your page and put a transparent button on top of it to trigger the action. That way your text will be vector (in the PDF which forms the background of the page) and the button is just a transparent top hotspot.

  I have attached a few screenshots of the layout in muse so the web page live. As you can see in the first two, the video button, which is a trigger of composition is not higher on the live version as shown in the software. In the second two screenies, you can see the position of the cursor, the clickable area for the Send button is much larger than the size of the button itself. I tried to delete these two widgets on the site and re - create from scratch only to have it happen again.

  So, I would be grateful any help to solve this problem.

  Well, the answer that you do not like is that you have incorrectly nested your elements and therefore their changes of alignment based on dynamic parameters like size of the browser window, because which is used as a reference instead of possible surrounding elements and parents. You need to work with groups and create a layer hierarchy that reflects your Visual arrangements and/or use according to the rules of formatting rather than rely on an absolute separate elements positioning. Which explains pretty well all of your questions.
