Any need Oracle material EBS12 of training which Oracle provides during their training. I think that paid training booklets are good to start with EBS12.

Unfortunately my company is not offering Oracle training and in research if someone can share the material of the Oracle. Thanks in advance.

You can check the last_refresh of the user_snapshot_refresh_times view and the view user_refresh next_date

You can use it in the below format

Eclipse 3.4 with Oracle Plugin - materialized view problem

I installed the Plugin for Oracle and wanted to use the functionality of the DDL generate to generate a SQL Script of a MatView. When I click on "Generate the DDL" in the floating menu, nothing happens. When I want to see the columns of a MatView (I try to open it with the sign +) has an error message:

'The charging base provider' has encountered a problem.

An internal error occurred during: "The charging base provider."

All other objects are working correctly.

Is this a bug? Everyone saw such a mistake?

Oracle Warehouse builder or materialized views
I have a requirement as follows:

Requirement:
We must create a Reporting DB to be used for information and a transactional database will be in separate host. Fundamentally, he need to extract data from a set of transactional DB tables and move to the Reporting DB schema at adequate intervals.

We may have to get a different column data in different tables and store it in a single table / several reports DB tables.

Can someone whether to go with Oracle Warehouse builder or the materialized views for this offer please?
Or use OWB to create and maintain the MVs.

Also please me a link point to what features are available with OWB

Our Oracle is installed in Solaris 10 and one who is perfect either generator warehouse Oracle or materialized views

The two are not exclusive. OWB is a tool for designing the data movement and implement updates to the warehouse.

MVs are a tool integrated into the database in support of materialization of the current request to speed up some types of applications related to data that is availoable, perhaps after transport OWB.

I would take oracle 12 c performance and tuning.
I noticed its a lot cheaper as self-training which is web access for a year.
However, self study does not prepare you as well as the oracle himself.

UO has four types of training: classroom, virtual Live, training on demand and self study. The first three are all variations on the same thing: a human being a conference accompanied by a Powerpoint presentation. The only difference is the specific method of delivery. I took a dozen or more courses in the classroom, when I worked for Oracle, but none of the other three. I don't know that they still existed at the time.

Self-study courses are completely different. They are not recorded training sessions (or they would cost the same as TOD). They seem to be created by Skillsoft computer-assisted training courses. There are some demos available on the OU Web site. Go to the following URL and click on the tab "Demos'", just above the section asking you to select a product area:

Materialized on table prebulit view

Hi all
I created a materialized on pre-constructed table view, my approach is the following.
Database table:
create table test1
(number of IDNs,
INAME varchar2 (10));
Insert into test1 values(1,'aa');
Insert into test1 values(2,'cc');
Creating table presets:
create table test2 as
Select * from test1, where 1 = 2;
View with the same name of table pre-constructed materialized created today.
create materialized view test2 ON TABLE PRECONSTRUITS
REFRESH THE STRENGTH TO DEMAND
AS select * from test1;
Now add an additional column of table predefined
ALTER table test2 add flag varchar2 (1);
Now the first time I'm doing a complete refresh of mview
exec dbms_mview.refresh('test2','C');
Now the problem here is...
1. If the test1 database table has a primary key on mview test2 is get updated with any problem.
2. If the Base table is not a primary on key then mview update which gives the following error.
Error at startup to the line: 59 in command.

You must use ROWID materialized views

Oracle supports materialized views of ROWID materialized views in addition to primary keys of default. A ROWID materialized view is based on the physical row identifiers (ROWID) lines of a master. ROWID materialized views can be used for views materialized, based on masters tables that do not have a primary key, or views materialized that are not all the columns in the primary key of the master tables.

Also, to do this, the type of materialized view log should be of rowid.
The following types of materialized view logs:
- Primary key: records of the materialized view replaces the master table or master materialized view based on the primary key of the affected rows.

Please publish "ps - ef | grep-i tnslsnr"and to kill the process manually and then check.

If you still get the "Linux error: 111: Connection refused" error, please see (from 10 g 2 TNS Listener gives TNS-12541, Linux error: 111: connection refused [343295.1 ID]).

Installation of Oracle EBS 12.1.1 on Oracle Linux4 Update 9
Hello

I'm just starting to install Oracle EBS12.1.1 on update9 Oracle Linux4. I downloaded the EBS12.1.1 of edelivery.oracle and unpacked all the files to a directory on the same system where I have to install Oracle.

When I try to run adautostg.pl, it asks if the "you use Automount to mount/dismount the media? I'm not sure what should be the answer in my case? So I have created no editing by myself. How can I check if it is automatically? If so what would the directory on which it is mounted automatically? This may seem a stupid question. Please bear with me... I'm a newbie :)

Install PT8.53 with Linux question: connection process Data Mover and application designer

Hello. I install PeopleTools 8,53 Internet Architecture.
Server database is the database Oracle 11 GR 1 material.
Operating system is Oracle Linux 5.
I installed successfully JDK7, WebLogic Tuxedo 11 GR 1 material and PeopleTools 8,53 10.3.6, in Oracle Linux 5.

I've been setting up of database PeopleTools8.53. Because the Wizard installation problem, I created PeopleTools 8,53 database manually by using starter PT853 Oracle database instance. I have run the following scripts:
(1) utlspace.sql
(2) dbowner.sql
(3) ptddl.sql
(4) psadmin.sql
(5) psroles.sql
(6) connect.sql

Then, we perform Data Mover script in a Windows XP Client computer to fill the PeopleTools PT853 database machine Linux Sever instance.
I installed Oracle Database 11 g 2 client for 32-bit Windows XP 64 - bit Windows virtual machine and run it successfully.
In Oracle Linux 5 Server Machine Net Manager:

Connection type: default database

Host name: 192.168.196.102
Port name: 1521
Listener: LISTENER
Protocol: TCP/IP
Host: 192.168.196.102
Port: 1521

I test the Service PT853 with "SYSADM" username and password "SYSADM". The connection is successful.
In the Windows XP Client computer, the information in the Net Manager is the same, and the connection is successful as well. Its details are as below:

NET Service Name: PT853
Protocol: TCP/IP
The host of the database Machine name: 192.168.196.102
Port number: 1521
Name of the Basic Service: PT853
Connection type: default database

This means that Windows XP can connect to Oracle Linux 5 successfully. But in the computer Windows XP Client, Data Mover and application designer cannot open a session in PT853 Instance of database in the Linux Server machine. Its details are below:
Configuration manager:
Type of database: Oracle
The database name: PT853
User ID: SYSADM
Connect ID: people
Connect password: people
Data Mover:
Type of database: Oracle
User ID: SYSADM
Password: SYSADM
Application Designer:
Type of database: Oracle
User ID: SYSADM
Password: SYSADM
When connect Data Mover and application designer, I got the same error:
ORA - 12154:TNS: can not resolve the connect identifier specified. Invalid user ID and password for the access code.
According to my understanding, process connection Data Mover and the application designer requires 3 tables in SQL Server: PSOPRDEFN, PSACCESSPRFL, PSSTATUS. I'm not sure the process of connecting to the Oracle database. I checked the database PT853 instance in Linux, and there is only one table "PSDBOWNER" created by the scripts.
My question is:
Can any folk tell me the connection process Data Mover and Oracle database application designer? Requires only one table "PSDBOWNER"?

Oh my, many mistakes action here. If PSDBOWNER doesn't have a line, it must be solved at the time that the error came out. The replacement by SYSADM first why? Why is complaining already existing SYSADM? Most likely, you HAVE created manually, where you shouldn't.

Again and again the same story. And again, sorry to say but you should take the basics of Linux training, Oracle training bases and sorry to be hard but reading training as well to read correctly the Peopletools Installation Guide where all required steps are really described in details.

I don't think anyone can help you across the network in this respect,
