Training suggestions

Could someone provide a suggestion for the best bang for the buck when it comes to training Cisco Telepresence?  I'm thinking 1 or 2 week long course.

I worked a lot with Polycom solutions but do not have a lot of hands on experience with Cisco platforms.  I am an engineer of the IPT and am very comfortable with all of the Cisco IPT platforms.

Thank you!

Please take a look at http://www.telepresenceu.com/ that might help.

There are also many 3rd parties forming the telepresence. For example, http://www.compassprogram.com/.

    Hello

In the OCP developer track, there are "Recommended training and preparation" section I took the physical classes. What I was wondering if the 'cultural' classes are "recommended" or "necessary." If they are needed, it would make a difference in my calendar for the test.

    Thank you

At the end of the day, you are required to be able to answer questions about the course subjects (interpretation what is really these can sometimes be difficult).

I would advise that you attempt an analysis of the gap between the questions and your current knowledge.

If it turns then to try the e-course fills in the gaps nicely in a cost-effective manner so great.

These shoild online courses increase your knowledge in any case.

Suite otherwise your gap if you think that Kaplan IT practical tests are a wise investment if you feel that you need more certainty about the form that could take the questions and make sure that you have studied and include enough subjects. • Distance and rounds of training swimming errors

    Hello...

I have the new Apple Watch series 2. I make the swim in our pool inner community twice a week, and I used the new watch swimming twice now. Both times the watch Gets the distance of towers and evil. Here are some details:

Our community pool is 25 yards - long we checked this by measuring it ourselves. I use the session pool swim.

The first time I used the watch, I swam 44 laps, which is 1 100 yards. Training app reported that I had made 62 laps and 1 550 yards.

The second time (today), I swam 50 laps, which is 1250 yards. Training app reported that I had made, 80 laps and 2000 yards.

I always swim in the same way,-1 lap breaststroke of 2 rounds side stroke, rear race 1 lap. Then, again. I don't have flip turn.

Any ideas or help greatly appreciated.

    Hello

I suggest that raise you this issue with Apple supports, taking advantage of your initial 90 days of free technical support by phone of the coverage:

  • Can the Apple Watch of training app take "tricks" during your workout?

The application of the workout on the Apple Watch can loosely last "tricks" during your workout?  Can you do you run?

    -Thanks!

    Hello

To mark a segment (for example one lap) during running exercise using integrated workout app, you can double-click the screen. The display briefly shows the stats for this segment. Segments can be examined after training through the activity on the matched iPhone application:

You can also find that a third-party application meets your needs. To learn about the characteristics of third-party applications, I suggest you consult the descriptions of app developers and their support resources. For example:

If you don't find the specific information you're looking for, you can ask the developer directly. This is usually possible through their support resources (you may need to create a free account in order to be able to connect). They may also be open to feature requests.

  • Computer training available to Dallas Texas Mac

I am looking for the it training for Apple Mac computers. I would like to learn from A to Z. I'm looking to learn the home and business. If possible, I prefer some college classes. Any suggestions?

Through the links at the bottom of each forum page, you can find the Apple stores in the Dallas area. There will be links announcing upcoming free seminars at the store, allowing you to be exposed to many questions.

If you still want a course in college, a community college might be more practical oriented. Year four colleges especially assumes you know all that stuff about Macs and other computers as well already and move suddenly in programming languages, data, algorithms, analysis of data and other structures more sophisticated topics oriented programmers.

  • Update Firefox wiped out all my suggestions!

I'm getting rather fed up with Mozilla Firefox. First the nag UPDATE cannot be disabled despite the fact that I chose the setting "never check the updates." Firefox does not take into account this preference and returns to either automatic, or "check and let me choose.» WHO started the mess. Listen to please the FIREFOX developers: I DON'T want allows you to control my updates. Too often in the past, you more or less forced an update on me only to train my duty reset EVERY preference and Add on, I had already installed. When I complained of this failure of Firefox to remember my preferences to update, I learned that I needed to update to 20.0.1 as 19.0.1 had "security vulnerabilities". You know what, at this point I don't care, especially if I have to go through all this shit just a decent browser. Nevertheless, I gritted my teeth and updated. Right out of the gate, the HOME page hijacked Google as my home page and do not go far. I have reset everything back to Google and then the browser open Google well, but was immediately directed to the damned WELCOME page... whenever I started the browser. I tried everything I could but nothing worked. The next step was to RESET Firefox. Well, it resets. Boy it reset. I am now facing reinstall EVERYTHING including ALL my modules, extensions... EVERYTHING. I am really annoyed at the arrogance of Mozilla, assuming THEY know what's best for my machine and my preferences. I really hope that solve you this Mozilla. I don't know I'm not the only one who is tired of having to redo everything every time that an update coming... which, BTW is quite frequent.

    Thanks for your reply, the-edmeister.

My staff S-O-P is to avoid the facilities unsupervised as much as I can. Since I generally distrust of MicroSoft, and over the years, found the Windows Add/Remove to default, I use Revo Uninstaller. Not 100% effective given my ignorance of Cybervillage but, perhaps foolishly, reassuring. So when I advised through FileHippo Firefox or any program, has an update, I have download and then install the Revo. In all cases (automatic update through the help that you suggest; complete crushing/installation manual by the heel), I still think that there should be a solution that would prevent wipe out of my preferences for Firefox, especially as, at least in my case, and especially under the new regime to release frequent update It has become an almost regular event.

    Thanks again.

  • Other problems of adjustment of training

I have, I'm sure that this was brought before but I can't find a solution. One of the main feature the I got my Apple Watch was for fitness. I realize there are better solutions out there, that is not the point. I do the workouts that require me to use the other setting which is good, but heart rate followed on this setting is a nightmar. It's either tailor-made or under but mainly in the framework. When I know I'm usually in the 150 the says watch, 64, 71, or something to that effect. There has been an update to provide Watch monitor your heart rate better. I understand that he cannot say if I weight or other things for calories burned, but heart rate should be obvious if it's to a certain intensity. I don't think it's a hardware problem because there hwart rate monitor is accurate enough in the case, but I'm getting jacked on my training because I do not have a preprocrammed setting. Help Apple!

    Hello

Several factors can influence the performance of the detector of heart rate, but it is expected that the sensor will give better results for workouts that involve rhythmic movements (e.g. running) rather irregular activity, such as lifting weights.

Make sure you wear your watch fits on top of your wrist (Apple suggests consider you the clamping Strip before starting a workout and it loosen again subsequently). When weight lifting, it can also help to wear your shows a little further to the top of your arm (away from your wrist in flexion).

It won't hurt (although it can't help, if the question relates to the nature of the training) to also try restarting your iPhone and your watch:

-Switch off the whole appliance, then restart your iPhone first.

    -To switch off your watch: press and hold the button side until you see the cursor off the power; slide it to turn off;

-To switch on: press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo.

Also, check that your iPhone and the watch are updated with the latest version of the software:

    - Update the iOS on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch - Apple Support software

    - Update the software on your Apple Watch - Apple Support

If you are still experiencing inconsistent results, consider a matching external monitor / Bluetooth chest strap for your watch.

  • Concerns about the workouts with the Apple Watch - request for comments and Suggestions

I'm a professional skill that has recently upgraded from a Polar to the Apple Watch.  I am delighted to stop wearing the chest strap of the Polar, but even though I love my new watch, I wish for some improvements in the future.  Training categories are too vague.  When you set up a 'training' on my Apple Watch, which is the step class, I was ANOTHER selection to OPEN.  Others who do?  What others recommend?  And I'm trying to decide whether to use Active or Total calories during the recording of my activities in my Fitbit dashboard.  One last thing, I find it odd to be worked hard and look down to see my heart rate displayed as 60, when I know that it takes more than 130.  I would like to hear from other fitness in mind of people about my problems.  Thank you.

    Hello

When a workout is started, choose the type of activity that best fits the nature of your exercise activity. For any activity other than the named options, select the other (for example, your step class).

The types of activities in the application of the workout on Apple Watch help the watch to determine what sensors / data sources to use in follow-up and evaluate the results of your activity. For example:

-To run in the open air, the watch can use the heart rate sensor, accelerometer integrated and GPS of the iPhone paired (if it is available during the race).

-For inside running (on a treadmill), the watch will be based on the accelerometer to estimate the distance and pace (as GPS data are not relevant).

-Indoor activities, the watch will be based mainly on the frequency heart readings to estimate of burning calories.

The other category is therefore useful (from point of view of the watch) by advising that certain types of activities are not undertaken.

During the follow-up of one exercise using the others, your watch will estimate active calories based on one that is the higher of:

    -L'equivalent of a brisk walk (calories saved on this basis can vary per person, based on their personal information), or;

-The data recorded by the heart rate sensor.

When you use the other, activity app will also credit the ring of progress of exercise with one minute for every minute of the workout.

If you want Apple to consider adding specific types of additional activities for the purpose of the workout, you can suggest that here:

All submissions are read (even if you do not expect to receive a response).

  • Apple Watch of training active calories very low after reset/restore

A week ago, my watch has stopped to record all activity data, even after a workout he would not save it to the application of the activity.  I did a reset and restore from a backup and it started working again.  However, the number of active calories is now TURNING to offshore.

I ran these data using a heart rate monitor online, height, weight and sex to the calories burned for comparison calculators.

Before the reset, I had a training of indoor bike for 45 minutes with an average heart rate of 114 BPM.

Active calories: 398, total 485.  Calculator online: 428

After the reset, 46 minutes of spinning: average heart rate: 115 BPM.

Total active 192, 280 calories.  Calculator online: 445

I know that the watch is responsible for BMR.  But I'm no comparisons to what equipment is showing me. I make comparisons with what is the watch display.

Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated.   Thank you.

Edit: I checked the health data (weight of 6 ft high 193lbs age 28 M) are accurate.

I also had this problem.  I've been advised to re - calibrate the watch in the open air market in 20 minutes.  Surprisingly, he did fix it and brought it back to the normal I know.

  • Can I change the descriptions of training?

Is it possible to change the descriptions of training for Apple Watch? I never use the elliptical trainer or rower so I would have something that best fits my activity.

    Thank you!

    Hi Rebecca

    It is not currently possible.

The types of training activities are also used to help your watch choose which sensors will be better and accurately to track and evaluate the results of your workout (for example the built-in accelerometer, built-in heart rate monitor, your paired iPhone data).

If you want to suggest that Apple consider adding other types of activity in the application of the workout, you can do it here:

    https://www.Apple.com/feedback/watch.html
