  I had to change hard drives and now need to reinstall all my programs application.  I was able to download Acrobat 9 Pro, but my licensed copy has now made within 30 days of the trial, and I don't know how to get a permanent license version.  When I call the software, I get a screen of the software configuration that gives me two options.  The first option, which is checked by default, is: "I have a serial number for this product." and a serial number is shown below.  It is the same serial number, I was issued when I bought Acrobat 9 Pro.

  So far so good.  Then I click Next, and here is where the trouble begins.  I get a window check the upgrade by the following text:

  You have entered the serial number indicates that your installation is an upgrade from Adobe Acrobat Pro version

  To be eligible for this upgrade, you must already have no product qualifying.

  We have looked into the locations by default of qualification of the products installed on this computer, but none have been found.

  The message you are trying to install a version upgrade of the software, which means when you bought it, you purcjhased as an upgrade to an earlier version.  You will need to provide evidence that you meet the eligibility criteria by specifying the earlier version and by submitting its serial number.  If you believe that you purchased the software in full version and not an upgrade, then you should contact Support Adobe directly by chat or phone to arrange things.

  LR is multi-platform already. Just disable it on your Windows system, then use the program installation of Mac and your existing serial number to install it on your Mac.

• Win7 Pro 64-bit stuck at 65% extraction of Windows files (Apple MacBook Pro retina)

  Having difficulties to install Win7 Pro 64 bit on a MacBook Pro Apple retina; whenever he gets stuck to the extraction of files Windows (65%).

  To install Windows, I followed the official instructions from Apple (https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201468), and in short, I used BootCamp to create installation files USB from an ISO (which worked on before Windows PC).

  The MBP has restarted and Windows Setup has started, asking to specify language settings and usual keyboard. I then formatted the partition of the hard drive and began the installation process.

  Copying Windows files works very well but as I say it is stuck in the extraction of files Windows (65%).

  The MBP's only got USB3.0 ports.

  I used a USB 2.0, USB 2.0 hard drive and a USB3.0 stick. All had exactly the same result.

  I tried different partitions of sizes from 20 GB to 70 GB. All had exactly the same result.

  I tried following some online articles to change regarding the "boot.wim" to include pilots USB3.0 to overcome this problem, but this does not seem to have made a difference.

  Apple tell me that, like the partition was created and the Windows installation has started, it must be a Windows problem not Apple.

  I gave to install another go this morning.

  Started from scratch and went back through the entire process of bootcamp, but also actually one patch driver USB3.0 (modify the boot.wim file)

  This time, it worked. I can't say it was definitely the fix (happened to use a USB3.0 drive to a USB3.0 port) but it got blocked only at 65% for 10-15 minutes, then stuck at 96% for 5-10 minutes.

  The rest of the installation went well after that.

• Acrobat 9 Pro & Word 2008 doc with sections problem

  I recently switched from Windows to a MacBook Pro and earlier uses Word 2008 & Acrobat 9 Pro for Mac. I have a doc Word 11 pages (created with Word XP before the change) which has several sections in there (to change the orientation of the page). When I send this doc to the virtual printer PDF of Acrobat, it creates several files corresponding to the sections in Word, but omits the first section completely. This never happened with Word XP and Acrobat 7. Is there something that I missed in the implementation of Acrobat? This is common with the Mac of Acrobat version?

  It is a problem for a long time between Acrobat (Adobe, Apple, Microsoft). Microsoft and Adobe blame on Apple. But the problem has been around since Mac OS 6 days and acrobat 2-3. Mac at the same time if you don't the Abobe PDF engine for visual and printing as in OSX. Adobe won't solve the problem because they are not as big as Microsoft. Microsft if you is not a problem for them, it means the death of your company. Microsoft has included a work around in 2008. It's going to save under... and choose the PDF.

  It will save in a single document, unless there is a switch in the direction of the Page. As well on message boards (Forums) and on the Microsoft Web site say that the code is identical for Mac and PC with the exception of missing VBA version key layout and interface changes. But MS refuses to allow Adobe with an eye on their Page and section break codes so they can heal it.

  Try record in PDF in Word 2008 make sure version AI 12.2.1. Then see if all the pieces are there.

  In Acrobat and choose Insert pages, then choose the next section. and to add at the end go to the end, and repeat with the next section and repeat with the next section, until all the pieces are together. I wish that the problem has been resolved it been continuous ever since Acrobat came on the scene. And the aprties are so afraid and scecretive they work together to solve the problem.  But this business these days, everyone is out for themselves, and don't bother get affected in the process.
