Transfer of license to switch from Win to OS - standard design CS6

Hello community,

I need your help, I'll give up my old PcWin for a new Mac operating system and I have a paramount request: can I license my Win for the license for the operating system on a MAc, of course I use the license on two computers. My CS is the standard of the CS6.

Thanks in advance for your help,

gabacha13

Hello

You could do a swap of platform for CS6, you can consult this KB for this.

Exchange a product for a different version of the language or platform

You must contact the support chat for swap platform please see this link below to throw the cat in.

  • Switch from Win XP and OE Express to Windows live mail, then in Win7 running Outlook 2010 - how?

This is NOT an easy process.

    (A) can I download Windows Live mail on my Win XP machine to migrate my e-mal address book and messages?

    (B) then, after I get stuff all the Windows Live stuff I'm supposed to be able to download stuff on Win 7 and Outlook.

Copy all the files from Outlook Express dbx on the XP machine in the Win 7 machine.  Also, to find the wab (address book) file and copy that.  Then in Outlook try Alt | File | Options | Advanced | Export and click on the button "export".  Then gives you options to import messages or address book and OE to choose it.  I have not tried and it might not work, but this would be the simplest method and you wouldn't have to go through living things.

See instructions for import here: www.oehelp.com/backup.aspx#wm for Windows Mail in Vista.  Most of the provisions continue to apply, but in Outlook Import Wizard may not have the quirkiness of the Vista one.  Dbx files cannot be readonly however and the folders.dbx file must be present.  And copy the dbx files to a folder on the desktop on the Win7 machine so you won't not permissions with importation problems.

  • can I switch from win xp pro sp3 Windows XP Professional x 64

I have an old computer Pentium (32 bit system) (2001) with max memory 2 GB and I wish to Exchange my c: drive to a new 64-bit computer that has the capacity of up to 16 GB of memory.  I am currently using win xp pro sp3 and I don't want to move to Vista or 7 because I'm very comfortable with win xp pro screens.  I'm assuming that win xp Pro x 64 edition is similar for win xp pro in that regard.  Current box has four scsi drives, 2 CD/DVD, 4 pci for creating music cards readers, card Radeon video (2 screens), 2.2 GHz Intel Pentium CPU, 2 GB memory Rambus.  I'm go to Gigabyte GA45T-ES3G-ATX, CPU 3.0 Ghz 775, 16 GB memory Kingston Hyper X, videocard PNY 450NVS Quadro (4 screens), 2 SSD drives (100(c drive)/500 GB).  I opted for the Gigabyte motherboard because it has a pcie x 16 video card and 5 pci slots.  I use software Cakewalk mainly which has a capacity of 64-bit and some of my cards have drivers 64-bit available.  Other software will be able to run in 32-bit mode (x 86).

My plan is to clone the c: drive current, load it on the new ssd drive and upgrade to Win xp Pro x 64 load if possible.

First and most importantly, there is no way to upgrade from XP 32 bit to 64 bit, you must perform a "clean installation" of the 64-bit version and then reinstall your applications. Don't forget to back up your data files.

Secondly because the card mother old and new are very different (device drivers and chipset), it is unlikely that, after cloning your hard drive to an SSD, the computer would even start.

I'd rather you 32-bit version of Windows XP is a 'Reticular Full' version (OEM versions are related to the 1st motherboard it is installed on and can not be activated on another motherboard) is to reinstall XP 32 Bit to one of your SSD drives (you did not mention RAID), then install the drivers from Gigabyte.

If you must go the 64-bit road know that 64-bit XP was not very well supported by software vendors and is not widely used.

Also note that this socket 775 motherboard uses memory DDR3 and no common DDR2 for cards 775 mothers socket.

  • How can I transfer all licenses/product information from 2002 to this day with a new email/AdobeID account?

I work on my Mac IIci (System 7), PowerMac G3 (MacOS 9), iMac G5 (Leopard), Intel, PowerBook (Tiger), Intel iMac (Snow Leopard) and Mac Mini (Snow Leopard). I do not put any new Apple garbage level based on how they treat the legacy clients, mangle and bug - infested computer and thrive on planned obsolescence.

So, my live 2002 far Adobe products. I totally understand the changes that adobe did, and also how they support us software engineers "gray hair". On that note, I need a little help in two areas.

    (1) I dumped Comcast and created my own domain specifically for email and so need to transfer all the previous account, the license and product information in my new email address.

    (2) I do a full 'clean' reinstall on my Mac Mini (Snow Leopard) and cannot find my Adobe PSE6 under license or a disk file DMG to save. I couldn't not prevailed of pre-7 downloads.

I have my license and product information s/n, as well as all the doublets of my previous account.

  • Switch from win to linux and upgrade the version

    Hello
I have 1 TB V8 DB on Windows, I'm planning to level to 10 gr 2 and move it to OEL

What is the best option, switching to linux first or upgrading to 10g first?

I intend to upgrade to 10g first, if I can benefit from the RMAN CONVERT command?
    any advise?
    Thank you

If you have the space on your source server, what you plan is really an easy way to achieve what you want to do (and DATABASE CONVERT is feasible since the two BONES are small boutien).
Import/export could also be a solution, but may take longer and requires you to create the target database...

  • Switching from win XP to win 7

My Toshiba laptop has win XP Home, it will not start at the top and I decited to install win 7. Can I use win XP Reinstall drive it to get up and running and then install win 7? Also what win 7 use the 32-bit or 64-bit?

    Number of points:

    1. a time of Windows XP computer is almost certainly average low power for
Windows XP. If you do this, it can run, but you can also regret it.

    2. before doing anything, you should check with HP to ensure that
Windows 7 drivers available for your hardware. There is a good chance
they are not and you'll never make it to make it work.

    3. According to the what the problem is, you can or can not get on with
the XP Recovery disk. For example, if the hard drive is dead, you
    cannot.

    4. do you intend to do a clean install or you want to upgrade
for Windows 7? If you want to upgrade, you can not. The only way of
Get Windows 7 is via a new installation or a two-step
update - first in Vista, then to 7 (and I recommend strongly against
the choice of the latter; it doubles the risk of problems.

    5. If you do a clean install, there is no advantage to the first
If it works with Windows 7.

    6. you can only go to Windows 64-bit if you have a 64-bit
mother/CPU card. With a computer running XP of era, you don't almost certainly.
so 32-bit Windows is probably your only choice.

  • Switch from Win XP to Win 7

  • Need to switch from Win to Mac

I have tried for more than two weeks get adobe to move my license of CS3 for Windows to CS3 Mac. I waited on the phone for over an hour, then later for more than two hours until my battery died for the customer service area to answer.  And I sent several web applications.

Customer service told me to contact the Sales Department; Sale told me to contact Customer Support.

At one point, I really thought that someone had read my request because they told me to fill out a letter of Destruction - I did, but demand died in place shortly after.

I then introduced a new application (for someone to check on the original ticket demand) because wouldn't respond to the original (I assumed it was just lost in limbo - it happens).

The customer service representative then sent me a letter saying contact sales and it had closed the query, because it has been resolved.  I guess it was about to reach their threshold of level of service and to maintain "good numbers".

I searched the web and I know that the Adobe customer service seems to be ranked at the bottom, but for any help or suggestion would be appreciated. I could use a mailing address or an email to Shantanu Narayen (CEO) or John Warnock (co-Chair) if anyone has it.  It's really to a point that it would be easier to get a license, illegal only in an attempt to preserve a legal copy, which is really saying something.  Please write me to [email protected].

    Please read this:

Not sure, Adobe really cares about its customers, but you can always try! Good luck!

  • Why can I switch from Win Vista Home Premium (64) to Win 7 Home Premium (64)?

I went through all directions and I still stop during the verification of compatibility of the system. Sometimes never really part of the installation. I checked just like other posts in case of a problem, and I can't understand what is wrong.

Thanks for all the help and suggestions Hula Baloo...  I'll try one at a time. Worst case scenario would be that I have back up all my files and programs and try for a complete install rather than an upgrade... it'll be more work on my part but I have heard it will be a better and cleaner installation... ah... nothing is easy right?

    Thanks again!

9 should take over on time Yes.

You won't need to install 6 (on the Windows 7 machine) to install 9. 9 comes with a full installer. But you'll need your old serial number.

I recently got a new pc, can I transfer my license key product from the old to the new pc card, by disabling the license from the old pc?

It is a Windows 7 Anytime Upgrade or is it a Microsoft Office product key card?
