I managed to transfer photos from my laptop on a SD card to view on a digital photo frame, but now I tried to do again the laptop is not recognizing even an SD card has been inserted.  How to recognize again?  Before it came automatically.

It can be difficult to format it if you can't get your laptop to recognize the card. I would recommend you insert the card, and then click Start > run > type or paste devmgmt.msc . Look down the list of your USB controllers and develop the content. See if there is a yellow? or! mark. If he did there right click on the device that contains the brand and choose uninstall. Then, on the Tools menu, click Edit > search for new hardware.

    Hello

I think that it of not possible to do it on the Web site.
I think that you will need to contact Toshiba service partner in your country.

I think that you will also need a confirmation of the garage which has saved this laptop.
But EPA should give you more details what is needed.

The entire base of ASP in the world, you will find on the page of European support of Toshiba.

  • Problems of transfer of files on the laptop with USB - Satellite Pro L100

I have a Topfield Freeview box that connects to my Toshiba Satellite Pro L100 via a very short USB cable. The box can read MP3s that I add via the USB connection.

My previous laptop added to hundreds of songs without any problem at all. However, this new Toshiba there are very particular problems.

I can send files of the TNT box to the laptop via USB with no problems, but if I try to send files (for example an MP3) Unlike - laptop box - it stutter and often fail. From time to time an entire song (only 4-5 MB) may be transferred without problems, but normally, it will not work. As I said, I can send 100 MB s, the other direction and everything works fine.

I tried transfer MP3s from my laptop and on the TNT housing with non-Toshiba laptop from a friend today and worked well. This collaboration with knowing I could do the same with my old laptop, suggests that the problem is clearly with the laptop. There must be a reason this notebook can transfer information via USB in a much better than in the other direction.

Is there anything I can do to upgrade drivers or software to allow my laptop works properly?

    [Edited by: admin]

I put t know why this happens and I can only suggest.
For example on my laptop when something be transferred from an external source laptop and another way the software Anti Virus check all files and so it takes much more time.

I just disabled the anti scan antivirus and firewall and the transfer was going faster.

Eventually he s has the same problem on your laptop

  • My laptop is dead. How can I go on the transfer of the data to replacing it?

My old laptop has bit the dust.  He is running, but I don't see anything on the screen.  I would like to move all the data to a newly purchased laptop, but do not know how to do in this regard.  Any help you can offer would be appreciated!

You can remove the drive from the laptop and ride in a USB enclosure, you need a box that can mount a 2.5 drive "or you will need an adapter, see here for housing typical & adapter: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/category/category_slc.asp?CatId=2781&name=2.5

Or you can network together laptops and transfer your files over the network.  Do you have a router?  If so, all you need are a couple of 'straight' cables to connect laptop computers to the router.  If you do not have a router, you need a "crossover" cable to connect two laptops together via their ethernet (network) adapters, any decent computer store half know what are these cables and which ones you need.

2 buy or borrow a USB disk drive hard put in yout case then plug it on your new laptop and read the hard drive like this

  • transfer pictures from the phone to the laptop

I use a HP Pavilion g6-2240sa Notebook PC and want to transfer pictures from my phone to my laptop. They are too big to send by e-mail.  I was told to try to use a card SDHC UHS-1 with adapter. This allows me to put my phone memory card inside the card that can be inserted into the slot on the side.  I want to know if the laptop a) will recognize the card and b) be able to read the card inserted in the adapter vioa and transfer images.  Does anyone know please answer this question?

I just connect my phone using a cable usb towards micro-usb for my phone and the phone appears as a hard drive symbolized... Navigate to the DCIM folder and photos are here. They can be cut and pasted or copied and pasted on the hard drive of the laptop. What kind of phone do you have? Mine is a Smartphone Android HTC One. This avoids constantly pulling the storage card from the phone that may not have all the pictures on it. Some may be internal phone storage.

  • HAVE LOTS OF PHOTOS ON THE LAPTOP... I WANT TO TRANSFER PHOTOS FROM MY P/C AND FILE HERE... WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE?

I HAVE A LOT OF PHOTOS ON THE LAPTOP... I WANT TO TRANSFER PHOTOS FROM MY P/C... NEED HELP WITH THE PROCEDURE.

There is certainly some options, you can take.  If the two computers are on the same network connection home, you could do it quite easily on the network.  Or the low-tech plugin is a USB flash drive, open the folder and drag image files, then take this drive on the new computer and plug it in and copy.  Last but not least, you can store your files on a synchronization as OneDrive or Google Drive service, and photos on a single computer would automatically transfer instantly to the other computer (which is also very handy as a backup).

  • How can I transfer all the contacts in my address book to my laptop?

How can I transfer all the contacts in my address book to my laptop?

    Thank you

    Charles

    Original title: ADDRESS BOOK

It depends on where your contacts are stored today.  Whether they're on your phone, for example.  But they are also synchronized to your email provider?  In other words, can you get to your address book by going to your email Web site as an e-mail service to company/school, or Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail or Outlook.com?  If so, you can sync with your laptop by adding this account to your computer.

If you can answer with details about your configuration and where your contacts are now and where, inside your laptop you want (like inside Outlook perhaps?), we can help a lot more.

  • Transfer pictures to the laptop on the desk

Hi, I'm reasonably seasoned with Lightroom, but have just started using a laptop while traveling and loading the pictures on it in Lightroom. I would like to be able to work with photos on the laptop while traveling, including marking and setting the parameters, then transfer into my office catalogue and remove it from the laptop. Is there a text anywhere on how to do it? I searched the web, but come only with old posts of people who have developed workarounds. Any guidance would be appreciated!

On the laptop, select the photos you want in Lightroom (perhaps all), then check that use catalogue, order of menu file-> Export "are negative", select a location for the files to be written on.

On the desktop, open Lightroom, select file-> import from another catalog, and then select the catalogue created by the laptop.
