Disk is not running.

I'm trying to run a DVD + R on a Windows XP 2002. the discs I have are DVD +; RW/CD-RW and DVD - ROM. When I try to run the disc it either tells me that I don't have a disc in the DVD - ROM drive, or that it is a blank CD in the DVD + RW/CD-RW;. What can I do to make it work?

Hello

  • What were the changes made before the issue occur?

  • Today my Macbook Pro could not start.  He showed me the ban or no symbol.  I was able to access disk utility and run first aid on the SM0256G of SSD Apple media successfully.  Cannot start in normal/safe mode.  Should I delete/install so I can?

MacBook Pro 13 '' end 2015.  256 GB SSD drive. El Capitan last version 10.11.4. I turned on the Macbook Pro and it could not start.  The progress bar with the Apple Logo would be present but would end not showing the symbol «»  I tried to boot mode safe - no go.  I have not reset PRAM help.  I was able to access disk utility and run successfully the first aid. No help. I was unable to restore two separate backup.  The utility show me backups however when I would go to the next screen and no backup is available.  Disk utility displays the SSD.  Can I erase the disc and download OS X install?  Thank you.

At this point, there is no need to delete. A new copy of Mac OS X can be installed directly over the old copy. This process replaces the components of Mac OS X on a file by file basis and adds missing ones, there will be no major throwing away what anyone, unless there is a power failure.

You have already run disk first aid.

Now use mode of recovery (command + R to start) to "Re-install Mac OS X. It should install the latest revision of the main version that you ran last.

  • Error message, not enough of disk space to run the defragmentation

Cleaning disc already used and removed unused programs.  Still get popups that say "disc not enough disk space for number of updates available" "not enough disk space to run defrag" "not enough disk space to run the system restore" I'm positive, I have more than 200 MB of free space on c:, (if updates are somewhere on my computer and using all the space?)  This xp computer is not much used, and certainly didn't have the amount of used space?

Anyone know where is the problem?

None of this has worked.  What has worked is that I discovered that Norton Antivirus used up to 57% of my c drive.  Entered their downloads of programs and the program downloaded 2012, which automatically deleated the old Norton application.  Apparently, whenever the old application done an update to download, it would wipe out not at the same time old files is no longer needed.

in any case, I now 57% free space.

    Thank you

1st race SFC and CheckDisk to ensure the integrity of disk and file. It is possible that you have something

  • sparsebundle disk image not mounting

I've recently upgraded to Mac OS Sierra and now I can not mount an image of disk sparsebundle.

I enter the password, and then nothing happens.

I tried the same image on a Mac running Leopard and it opens fine.

I tried a few other sparsebundle some and other encrypted disk images not. Some are open very well, but others do not.

So, it doesn't seem to be a problem of sparsebundle encrypted disk image.

    Any suggestions?

After investigation a little more the problem is Sophos AV

Turn it off and the disk mount fine images.

    I hope this helps.

    Hello

What is the installation using another CD; That is to say the Microsoft Windows XP disk?
    Have you tried that?

In my opinion, this would help to pinpoint the problem
The error message can be linked to different issues; I mean the HARD drive or a single partition problem could also be possible.

Try to format the drive HARD whole again. Delete all partitions from the HARD drive and check if you can proceed with the installation.

But if you will not be able to install the OS by using the recovery disk and other disks then a question must relate to a part of the material. (possibly HDD)

  • Vista recovery disks do not display TOSHIBA HDD Recovery option

Back to school for 4 children with laptops is a pain, he seems to be constantly before wipe them and their establishment again.

Any ideas why the Vista recovery disks do not display TOSHIBA HARD drive recovery option?

I made a USB key and copied all the files from a backup of the Recvery drive to it. The USB displays the TOSHIBA HDD Recovery option but calls for the disks and will not run the recovery of the USB itself. It's annoying, but at least I can still use it to recover the machine.

    I would like to be

    the problem with discs

    or

get the USB key to retrieve by using its own files instead of asking for the disks. Vista was not created with the option to recover from USB, so maybe I can't.

HARD drive recovery option appears not in the advanced boot menu if something has been changed or modified on the HARD disk and the flag was removed.
For example, this may be the case if the partition has been changed, modified or if HARD drive recovery files or folder has been changed, moved, or deleted.

In case you want to recover the computer laptop back to factory settings, you must use the recovery disk

  • Recovery disk will not load on my Equium A210 - 17l

For some reason, no matter what I do or try, my Toshiba restore disk will not start or load into my disc drive. I hear that many whirring noise and loud clicks, but nothing. I cleaned the disk, I have my BIOS set to boot from the CD/DVD drive. I have the disc, otherwise he would stay all day on a black screen. This leads me into the wall, my laptop is just out of warranty and my games/applications are running slower and slower each day. I can't afford the repairs, I need help! Anyone has any advice for me? Thank you

    * edit *: I forgot to mention, some discs not loading in my laptop but they load fine on my desktop (including my Toshiba restore disk) is anyway I can copy the files to my restore disk and create a new one? (I confess that there are some scratches)

It is not easy to say what the problem is here. It may be defective recovery DVD or optical disc drive may be defective.
Try to use some other bootable CD/DVD like Microsoft installations CD or some Linux installations. If any of them work is ODD may be defective.

Recovery image can be copied to the HARD drive and the new creation of media is not possible. If your recovery media cannot be used due to zero you can order the new copy under https://backupmedia.toshiba.eu/landing.aspx

  • Spooler service is not running

the printer does not and he said that the spooler service is not running.  Help please

    Hello

    (1) did you make any changes before the show?

    (2) what is the brand and model of the computer?

    (3) Windows operating system you are using?

A print spooler is software that temporarily stores the disk printing hard or in memory until the printer is ready to print. If you were expecting an abnormally long time to print a document, or if you see an error message about the print spooler, Spooler subsystem or spooler resources, you might need to change and then restart the print spooler service on your computer.

To do this, we recommend that you save your work and restart the computer to restart the print spooler service. If you do not want to restart the computer, try these steps.

To change or restart the print spooler service

You must be logged on as administrator to perform these steps.

1 open administrative tools by clicking the Start button, click on the Control Panel, clicking system and Maintenance, and then clicking Administrative Tools.

    2. double-click on Services.  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

    3. right click on the print spooler service, and then click Properties.

    4. on the general tab, next to startup type, make sure that automatic is selected.

    5. If the service is not already running, under Service status, click Start and then click OK.  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
