After installing XP, I don't have Wi - Fi or sound on my computer
On a satellite l35-s2366 toshisba, I have installed xp on vista because the computer was so slow. The only drive I have is xp, I bought years ago. Anyhoo, it works much better but I have no wireless or sound and perhaps just don't have expeirenced yet. Any help. Thanks in advance...
Have you downloaded the compatible drivers XP for your audio system and the router? Not really a problem of Internet Explorer.

Please...Hello!
After installation of XP have also installed drivers? In particular the Ethernet and WLAN card driver driver. The two you can find on the Toshiba site:
http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com-online decision-making supported Downloads & => Download driversIn addition, you should check for yellow exclamation marks Device Manager.
Also make sure your router has an internet connection. You can check in the router configuration.
Last but not least to check the card WLAN and LAN TCP/IP settings. If your router is using DHCP, you must activate or try static ip addresses.
Good bye

Microsoft Picture It 2000 install not I don't have IE5.
I was wondering if there is anyway to ignore the part of Internet Explorer 5 during the installation of the software? Microsoft's patches out there that will work for this particular software to install. It will install not I don't have IE5. I also tried compatibility mode, and it does not work unless I did something wrong. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
Hi grungychick,
Thank you for using answers Forum.
Here is a link to some suggestions for solutions to your problem:
or here
I don't think that you will be able to install IE5 on XP either.
You may be able to find a package type 'several Internet explorer' from a supplier of software of third party.I hope this helps.

After installing SP2 for Vista, everything that I try to print from this computer prints in format post little matter what I tell the printer to do. I use a laptop Acer Aspire 9410, 32-bit, Windows Vista, IE 8. Commands from another computer on the printer work properly. Should I uninstall SP 2 & reinstall? Or what is the best fix for the problem? Thank you.

I currently have a MackBook with Photoshop CS6 installed. It came with the laptop when I bought it on eBay, so I don't have the serial number of the software. Can I still transfer Photoshop CS6 of this laptop to a new one?
Thank you

Who sold you the laptop should have deleted the software first or passed through the appropriate process to transfer the license to you. Chances are they used it to get an upgrade, in which case he would not still have to can be transferred.

I tried Win 8 (trial version) and now I want to re - install my Win 7 Basic Home Edition. It was preinstalled on my lap top so I only have the genuine product key, but no installation cd. How to re - install?
New computers coming often pre-installed with Windows 7 have what is called a recovery partition. This is used to reinstall an operating system in the case of a system failure. To access it, you need to start when you start your computer by pressing a function key. This can be either F1, F2, F9, F10, F11, F12 key DEL or tab. See the manual that came with your PC for instructions on how to reinstall Windows.
This is how the recovery partition is available for the most popular brands
For Dell, press CTRL + F11 directly after switching on the device
For HP, press F11 directly after switching on the device
For Toshiba, press and hold "0" BEFORE and during the power upward
For Acer, press and hold ALT + F10, as soon as you see the logo
For Asus, press F9, as soon as you see the Asus logo.
Advent, restart your computer. Then, press F10 repeatedly until the message "Starting system recovery"
or
Reinstall Home Basic
You will need a whole in a single installer disk that you can use to select Windows 7 Home Basic Edition during installation. See the following for instructions:
For a DVD that contains all the flavors of 32-bit and a DVD that contains all the flavors of 64-bit Windows 7: Starter,Home Basic , Home Premium, Professional and Ultimate see here.

It all started when I tried to download the latest adobe acrobat reader update is 10.1.13 but update failed so I deleted the program and tried to download a new version. When I tried to download fails and messages that I already have the new version. Then I checked my system and do not have Acrobat reader.
I don't know why you get these errors; After running the cleanup tool, nothing like this needs to happen.
But let's try another approach; Download and run
- vacuuming ( http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html) tool new
- the MSI 10.1.0 installer
- the 10.1.14 update http://ardownload.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/10.x/10.1.14/misc/AdbeRdrUpd10114.msp

I can't find my Vista even though when I type "winver" in the start menu, the computer says my I have Vista. Can I just install an upgrade of Windows 7 instead of buy a start-from-scratch OS? Thank you, Michael Higgins
Hello
There are different methods to reinstall Vista, without purchase you another license...
There is no Windows Vista downloads available from Microsoft.
You can contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.
They should do this for a small fee.
To reinstall Vista using their recovery disk/s, you start from the 1st recovery disk they provide and follow the manufacturer's instructions to reinstall:
You need to change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order:
How to change the Boot order in BIOS:
http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixtheproblem/SS/bootorderchange.htm
"How to replace Microsoft software or hardware, order service packs and replace product manuals.
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/326246
And if you have never received a recovery disk when you bought your computer, there should be a recovery Partition on the hard drive to reinstall Vista on how you purchased your computer.
The recovery process can be started by pressing a particular combination of the key or keys at startup. (Power on / start)
Maybe it's F10, F11, Alt + F10, etc., depending on the manufacturer.
Ask them to the proper key sequence.
Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.
If this happens, you may need to try this instead:
You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.
Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.
And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs
Here's how to do a clean install of Vista using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft:
"How to do a clean install and configure with a full Version of Vista '
http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/117366-clean-install-full-version-Vista.html
And once the operating system is installed, go to your computer manufacturer's website and get the latest drivers for your particular model or laptop computer.
And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.
"How to activate Vista normally and by Activation of the phone '
http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/84488-activate-Vista-phone.html
See you soon.

I have a laptop Acer 4720 with valid product key of Vista Home Premium OEMact and COA label, my problem is the HD is broken and I need to install the new HD and then reinstall windows, but I have not all disks (was on the recovery partition which is good), so what are my options? Can I use any family Vista Edition installation disc Premium and then activate my license key?
Hi again,
You use the product key on your computer case with the Installation DVD Microsoft process.
As I advised alreasdy, recovery from other manufacturers discs are of no use for this
The only thing is that you may need to make a phone Activation, do it this way and not use auto invite, but hold the line for a person to physically respond to your call.
I would advise not to download an ISO of Vista on the Internet, you will find that they are pirated and malicious programs containing versions changed.
The DVDs are not available from Microsoft.
When I informed 'borrow' that's what I meant. a friend, acquantance workplace, etc.
Or if you know someone with the same model of Acer and Vista operating system, you might try their recovery disks.
See you soon.
