Transition of views on iOS devices

Hi all!!

I've looked everywhere for this problem, seams that some people have one another don't, or at least doesn't mention.

I'm trying to Flex (4.5.1 now) to do some tests and studies with the possibility of biuls's mobile applications that run on Android and iPhone.

I made a simple 2 discovers the application with a button on reproduced one. The buttons have a click event that push and pop the second point of view.

Everything works great and is very easy to do.

On the Simulator, all transitions are performed smoothly, but when I release an IPA file and install it on my iPhone (4 with iOS 5.0) or (1 with 5.0 iOS) the performance of the application is really bad. I mean, transitions like runing on 5 frames per second.

Already tried to change the frameRate, cashAsBitmap and nothing seams to change performance whose views are sliding.

To switch between the CPU and GPU, open your file xxxx - app.xml, uncomment the tag and enter cpu or gpu.

This article does a good job of explaining cacheAsBitmap and cacheAsBitmapMatrix, but note that some things may have changed a little in the Air 2.6 and newer:

Unlike what one would expect, CPU is often better than GPU on mobile. It depends on what you are doing. In the case of doubt: measure and experiment!

    You cannot store pictures on iCloud and remove them from your device. Remove them on the phone also icloud removes them. You can set for storage optimized on your device that compresses the resolution of the device stored photos, keep the originals in iCloud.

    If you want to be able to todelete pictures from your phone and store them elsewhere, you must use subscription such as Dropbox cloud storage or store them on your computer.

    I have a a question:

    My child receives a device ios as a gift, and requires an apple ID to use. However, is it possible to create an id apple of child for the child on his device, because I don't own other IOS devices.  As long as the creation of the ID child apple can be done, even if monitoring features are lost, I would be fine.

    If my child has an id apple child (or as a last resort, using mine) when they reached the age to have their OWN apple ID, all the contents of the previous ID number can then be transferred to a new one? Even if all downloaded content is FREE, all messages/emails will also be lost? It is quite confusing.

    Is anyway to transfer the contents of one ID to another? Because, as always, children are growing up!

  • Horrible Jitttering on iOS devices

    I created a simple version of my site using the format of the iPhone to muse. A page that scrolls. There are only one or two effects of small movements on the page. When you view this on the iPhone or iPad stuttering and nervous is terrible. The page will be same popping up when you start getting close to the bottom. When you scroll, while sometimes it is good, it will actually "buzz" and jump. Really unusable. I went into a Verizon store and had a guy with a phone test site for Android. He was handsome scroll. I downloaded Chrome on my phone and the trac is still there. I did another Muse site which has more scrolling effects, but nothing extraordinary. It works fine on Mac. View the site on an iPad or iPhone gives you the same jitters. It was not built in Muse in the format of the iPad, it's just the original site size viewed in Safari on iPad. It's frustrating. The site is very similar to the computer, but totally collapses on the iOS device. What is going on?

    Laughing out loud. There is no Flash involved with anything whatsoever out of Muse (unless you place/import a .swf file).

    It would be useful to obtain a copy of your .muse file, so we can simplify the page down to what is needed to reproduce the jig, jump to the top and any other weird behavior, so we can write bugs into the system from Apple for Safari and study workarounds until Apple fixes the problems. We will also need to know the version of the iOS you use and what specific iOS device.

    I see on my iPhone with iOS 8.1.2 6 jumping to the top (sometimes), but the jitter is almost imperceptible. I expect that the Jig is perhaps more obvious on a slower device or an older version of iOS.

    When it is run on the simulator of the Air, it works very well as expectedand the file is successfully downloaded to the server. But when run on iOS devices (in my case, iPad), as I explained at the beginning, no event on the file upload handler is executed and not the http request has even hit the server. So I think that the problem may come from the client side.

    During my attempt to solve the problem, I found something complicated about this problem on iOS7. In other words, if you call the URLLoader.load method (although the URLLoader.load points to an address non-existed) before calling the File.upload method, the File.upload will work as expected on iOS7. Specifically, when the above OnTrickyButtonPressed method is run before the OnUploadButtonPressedmethod, File.upload will succeed on iOS7. But this only happens on iOS7. On iOS8, File.upload still refuses to work, regardless of knowing if the URLLoader.load is executed before.

    I think in my case, the problem is not the problem of sandbox or a session of Firefox problem described in the two links below, because not even a http request hit the side server. It seems that the Air SDK for iOS comes to fail send the http reason request any.

    To make my problem clear, I list my environment below:

    • Development environment: Windows7 (64-bit) / Mac os 10.9.4 (tested on both OS platforms.)
    • IDE: Flash Builder 4.7
    • Air SDK: 3.8 / 16.0.0 (after that I have updated to the latest Air SDK 16.0.0, problem persists.)
    • Application server: Tomcat7 + spring

    Finally, I want to mention that download the file using URLLoader.load isn't an option in my case because I want to download large files in the future, which cannot be addressed with the URLLoader.load.

    I struggled with this for days. If I really appreciate it if anyone has an idea about this.

    GarageBand on an iOS device cannot open GarageBand for Mac projects, but a mac can open GarageBand compatible for iPhone/iPad projects.

    So, you might send your friend only mixed audio files. Your friend should add the sound to the Music.app on the iPad Pro and then add the new joint audio tracks in GarageBand. It is quite complicated, because you need to merge the titles added your friend in your original on the Mac project.

    You can have a library that is enabled for iCloud on your Mac, if you activate my Phto Stream for this library to download from your iiPhone, it will be 2-way and also download on the iPhone.

    If you want to only download from the iPhone, do not use y Photo Stream, but download by connecting the iPhone to a USB port.

    Not sure where you can get the data however.

    There is no way for Mozilla create Firefox for iOS. Apple restricted a lot what kind of applications can be created for iOS. The only thing that could serve as Mozilla is a Firefox Sync client, which then uses the iOS Safari browser.
