  Hello yAxOr, can you try to start firefox in safe mode by pressing the SHIFT key during startup of this and see if the problem occurs there too? Maybe a theme or hardware acceleration intrudes here...

  If safe mode does not work, you can try to disable hardware acceleration in firefox > options > advanced > general and or disable addons that could cause the problem. • Problem with transparency and gradient in several forms

  I have problem very stange (am have been strugling with four hours), I'm desperate and I hope I'll find help here. Thanks in advance...

  Here's the deal... I created this shape in photoshop (see the image attached). It's 6 circles with equal to 47 alpha / then I merged the circles and applied degraded (#f7c105 to #f4480b) and the angle set - 145

  Now, I try to recreate this shape in Illustrator... As you can see the image it sympathy ' e close but not the same thing. I do not know how to merge circles but to preserve transparency and then set the gradient.

• Transparent background gif leaving no transparency and little dots

  I am a newbie and has successfully done once and decided on a new logo and did the same thing and now it does not work.  I am running vista, created a logo in a Gif file and edited in paint.  Then I open it in PS, use the background Eraser registered for the web, made sure it was even the gif.  ploaded it to my Web site and bam, it shows a white rectangle with a bunch of dots.  I tried with the eyedropper tool, thereby ensuring that the background was transparent color and without success.  I got my site up and running and has decided to do, and now you don't even know that your facility site because I don't have a logo to the top.

  However, I left a page up to see what he does.  Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am at end of the last week and a half.

  Try this:

  Remember what background you use on your website.

  -Open your GIF image in Photoshop

  -File---> save for Web & devices (this opens the possibility to optimize the files for the web)

  -Top left of new screen click "2up" (shows you the original and a version optimized in a split screen)

  -Top right of new screen scroll to the types of files and Select GIF (others are PNG-8, JPEG, WBMP, PNG-24)

  -Just below the selection GIF, click the arrow of the "Matte" button, it opens a menu, choose your color of original background (if white, blue etc..)

  - Transparency of box (optional)

  -Click Save at the bottom. Select the destination. Fact!

  I hope that answers your question. You will have to do with your png images as I think.

  Note also that you can reduce the size of the image (and quality) in the upper right by reducing the colors.

  P.S. (usually transparent and sRGB are selected)

  Since the installation of Firefox 6, when I tried to open a PDF file, the image looks like it summer flows in a bad copy machine that is almost out of ink and is semi-transparent.   I have Firefox 6 (but several versions have the same problem) and was faced with the same problem and finally found the Solution. Firefox has hardware acceleration is enabled by default. You must disable.

  You can do it under Tools-> Options-> advanced. Uncheck the hardware acceleration

  1, type about: config in your address bar and promise to be careful, then search in gfx.direct2d.disabled preference name.
  Double-click the preference to True.

  2, check disable it Firefox Direct2D and DirectWrite Hardware Acceleration.
  Find the name of the preference gfx.font_rendering.directwrite.enabled .
  Double-click the preference to false.

  Restart Firefox. You should get clear, sharp images as well as correct rendered PDF back. It worked for me!

• I can't customize my window color and appearance to change the transparency and color of the window.

  Tuesday night I had to re-charge/reinstall Windows Vista because I had some problems with the worms and Trojans. After that I have re-installed Windows, I was able to customize my resolution and my window color and appearance. Once I installed all the 106 updates of Windows, I was finally able to change my resolution but I still not able to change my window color and appearance. Before I reloaded Windows I could change the transparency of the windows and taskbar and the tone of the colors, etc., but now all I can choose themes default and such of older versions of Windows. I was told that after I downloaded and installed all the updates, I'd be able to do, but I'm still not able to do. Is there a reason why and is there a any solution for this? Drivers? Material?   In the services dialog box, double-click the themes service. On the Recovery tab, set the first and second failure of the drop-down lists "restart the service".   So I tried to do the same thing to paint override, and now the buttons are not displayed at all the haha. • Transparency and color precision

  I created a PNG with only 1 color: white, but with varying degrees of transparency.

  My idea is to cover this png on top of any solid color and create a brilliant UI, regardless of which is the background color.

  However, when I applied, I don't see that on 5 different shades of white, so theoretically it should be 255 different shades.  Needless to say, it looks terrible.

  Do you have suggestions on how to make this work better?  Could I manually draw the pixels using Graphics.drawARGB for best effect, or is this a limitation of the device Simulator or blackberry?

  If you have any suggestions on how to create the desired effect, I would greatly appreciate them.

  I'm sure that transparency is 8-bit (0-255), but the transparent color is mixed with the underlying color, and the result is 16-bit color. I'd do a few tests to determine the best combination of what you want. So do images of 32-bit normal and then save them as 16 bit images to see how to work the colors on the scale.

  If you have updated your Windows then uninstall the update of platform for Windows 7 (KB2670838) and your problem should be solved.

  Before I updated my Windows this month I just checked if Microsoft still offer this update. This is in the optional list. I installed so I thought to manually upgrade to IE10 because he wasn't in the IE9 update list. So I did manually and after that check updates again and to my surprise this update has disappeared completely. I have an old PC as well, and after installing all the updates I still have no problems so far. I recommend that you upgrade to IE10 after uninstalling this update (if you updated with that and faced the problem) to get rid of the update forever. But do it at your own risk, because I never updated my machine with this defective update and see if that caused any problems with my machine.

  If you want to keep the B as direct Type, you can:

  (1) tick Edit > preferences > General > use overview of limits;

  (2) to select the Type (B) with the selection tool (normal) and the effect > path > outline object.

  Which will reduce the Bounding Box to the real limits of the letters and keep the editable Type, so you can set the direct Type you like in function since its appearance.

  But if you need not described the text as a PDF, you will need to remove the effect:

  (3) with the selected direct Type, click reduce it to the basic appearance button in the appearance palette.

  Obviously, you will need to uncheck the box use a snippet of the boundaries for other purposes, but you can just check that again when you need to edit (some of) the Type if necessary to keep in place.   Found a way around the problem. It is not the most amazing, but it's fast and easy. The pdf is also much lighter

  2. Delete all except bottom and blocks
  3. Save as jpeg
  4. Open original
  5. Make the opacity of 0 blocks
  6. Remove the background and replace them with jpeg
  7. Be happy
