  New user of Muse.  I am building my first slideshow and using the Muse slideshow Widget.  I want to build 2 different types of slideshows, one with pictures and the other without. Documentation and videos are useful but not can find anything to help me to display a caption for each photo.  How can I do this?

  Please check the steps below for both scenarios

  Slideshow with thumbnail:

  1. Select the thumbnail.

  2. now the legend that you can see in the related image of the thumbnail.

  3 change the caption as you wish.

  4. now if you click on another miniature you will notice that the Image of the hero and legend test has changed.

  5. change the details according to your requirement.

  6. Similarly, you can change the cation for the rest of the images in the slide show.

  Thumbnail with release of the slide show:

  1. go to slide show options and check the thumbnail option. (Doing so the tiles will become visible)

  2. follow the same steps given under "Slideshow with thumbnail" updated legends

  3. once the captions are up to date, go to slide show options and disable thumbnails.

  After you use Windows Photo Gallery to add captions to the pictures 354, I find now that the legends do not show anywhere when you view photos in a slide show in Windows Photo Gallery. Is there a way to make the legends show that image?

  Unfortunately, you cannot add caption in slideshow with Windows Photo Gallery. However, you can use Windows Media Center to the addition of caption in slideshow.

• Transparent background for slide numbering Widget number

  I work at 8, Captivate, and I inserted the widget that puts drag numbers on every page of my module. Unfortunately, each number appears inside a little white square. Can I do the transparent code box so the white square will disappear? I tried this setting in the properties of widget dialog box, but apparently this tool only allows you to format the police number, not the background color. I would appreciate any guidance; Thank you.

  Do not use this widget more, it is not compatible with HTML output.

  Why not just insert a text container (form or legend, make it transparent) on the first slide, post it for the rest of the project and always on top. Insert variables using the X key in the role of composition of the text container properties panel:

  The advantage compared to having it on the slide, is the text container has an ID that makes controllable: you can hide/show it if necessary on some slides (like the question slides, that have their appropriate progress indicator).

  Be careful though: it is a dynamic, generated text over time. This means that you must use a font for the Web, to have watched as static text. It depends on the output as well, but since you are using a widget, I guess you are using output SWF. In this output, all static text is converted into images, which allows you to use another font even if it is not available on the system by the trainee. This is not the case for dynamic text

• Transparent footer on slide show full-screen does render does not correctly

  I placed a white box to 80% opacitiy behind the text in my footer for the page footer displays before a slideshow full screen. It looks perfect in Design view, but when I preview the page transparency makes that in the top 20 pixels of the white box. The rest of the transparent white box isn't here, so the text is unreadable in front of the picture (see images).

  The foot is on the master page on a top-level slide show, which is on a content page.

  Please check a few possibilities:

  -If no composition is used on the page, try to check if there is space between bordered rectangle border (foot) and the frame of the composition.

  -Check if a footer overlaps with another element on the page

  -Try to reduce the block of text for this text frame border does not falls on rectangle border edges.

  -Preview in browser (use of different browsers)

  -resize the rectangle (with opacity)

  I am struggling with trying to figure out how to customize the size and the location of the legend boxes within each image in a slide show. It seems that, once an initial caption box has been set in the first image, it appears in images to the same location and size, with no way to control them individually. I forgot something? Is there a way to customize the size and location of all the legends in a slide show? Your help/advice would be greatly appreciated.  ~ Thank you

  MCO, I had the same question and it has helped me:

  Thumbnail with release of the slide show:

  1. go to slide show options and check the thumbnail option. (Doing so the tiles will become visible)

  3. once the captions are up to date, go to slide show options and disable thumbnails.

  (If your slideshow thumbnails, just use to select individual screens, where you can change your captions)

  Why do I get double text in my stories in slide show

  Double resulting text of a text of subpixel rendering. When you have your display color settings too low, there is not enough available to perform color subpixel rendering and the text is divided. To resolve this problem, go to your display settings and increase your color quality of 16 to 32 bits. How exactly depends on your OS.

  I use a white rectangle and a transparent caption to hide data classified in a demonstration. This rectangle and the legend are marked "show for the rest of the slide. However, at the end of the slide, the rectangle and legend disappear, revealing the data that I have to hide. I value seamlessly transitions, and the two appear to 0.0 seconds. Anyone have any ideas?

  And, I'm afraid that the answer to this question is 'no', but I'll ask anyway: is it possible to edit a demonstration in the same way that you edit an image? In other words, can I 'clear' classified data and have just a blank space there?

  Assuming that the data is part of the screenshot that was broken when recording, you should be able with the right button on the box to highlight and choose merge down. Who would actually clear.

• Multiple audio files in a single slide Captivate 5?

  It is easy to add multiple audio files in Camtasia Studio: just drag gthem.

  Captivate 5 asks me if I want to replace the current audio file. I don't. I just need - at the most - you short audio files that will play in order, perhaps with a short break between the two

  Is this possible?

  Captivate allows audio at three levels.

  • Background - plays for the duration of the project
  • Slide - plays when the slide plays
  • Object - plays when the object appears

  What you must do if you want multiple audio files to read is to insert objects and associate audio with objects. If you do not want to see the object and all what you want to do is to hear the audio, use a Transparent caption with no text or a box to highlight without color or a box click with no break and no action when you click it.

• on the first slide button is not displayed

  Captivate 3. One of my files when I saw it works fine. When I publish the file well slideshows and the audtio works well but the 'next' button, I inserted does not appear?

  Ah, this additional button must have been set to pause the slide, and it has been attributed to take no action, he just held the blade it.

  Try to use a transparent caption instead of a button, or go into the settings of the button and make sure that it is not set to pause the slide.

  I send you the text of the voice-over to my Captivate to a professional agency project and export notes for this slide.   Is it possible?  The slide notes contains any TTS text we now have done professionally.  Right now, I'm just copy and paste the text line-by-line both Captivate for the file, I'll send the Agency.

  Use the print option, define the Type of documents to distribute and check the box 'slide of Notes '.

  Apparently, this a check box export captions and slide Notes slide, so there may be duplicates to delete.

• I import a jpg for a logo. It has a white background and I want to make transparent

  I tried to use the functionality of the Magic Eraser, and it seems to work in what displays on the screen, but when I save it as a PSD or JPG the background is always white.

  To make this work you must convert the background into a normal layer layer so that it will support transparency. Simply slide the lock to the trash.

  When you save the file, you must save in a format that supports transparency as a psd, tiff, or png. Jpg does not support transparency and will result in a white background anywhere it should be transparent.

  Hello - I want my users to have the ability to print the captioning.  My captions and slide notes are the same, so no matter they are printed slide notes and/or captioning.  I use Cp8, and it's a sensitive project.  I published a project of receptive to Cp8 with captioning.  Learners do not have the ability to print anything (slides, notes, Word doc, PPT, slide, subtitling).  There is no option to print.

  How to allow users to print the notes of closed captions / slide?  I don't want users to print the slides; I want them to print text (if possible).  Did I configure in Cp8?  Do I have to transfer my notes/captioning slides into a PDF/Word and offer the document as a separate link?

  I know code or Java or anything in that sense.

  There is no way by default to set this as an option in Captivate.  I simply create a Word document that contains all the notes slide, convert it to PDF format and provide a link somewhere in the course which allows learners to download if they want.  I never did this when the client required because they were of the opinion that it is necessary.  From my experience, the learners themselves will never ask for it.
