Trash folder crashes after installation of 9.3.2

iPhone 5 and iPad 2.  Try to delete e-mails from the trash.  However, automatically quit when you try to do.  Worm 9.3.2

Try resetting your e-mail account. First close your Mail application completely from the window of the selector app by double clicking the Home button and drag the email preview pane up until it disappears from the display. Then go to settings > Mail, Contacts, calendar > find your e-mail provider and click on the account and the blow to remove. Then perform a forced reboot. Hold down the home and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously for about 15-20 seconds , until the Apple logo appears. Then go to settings > mail... and to add the account.

  • Thunderbird crashes after installation of vn 38.4. Solved. Cause - bad record?

(This question was published only because I could not respond to existing similar questions without registering first.)

Problem was apparently a Thunderbird randomly hanging after automatic update to 38.4 on Windows 7 Enterprise. The process of dropping out/no response took place a few minutes after start of TB, compose messages, send or download of IMAP mail.

Shortcut to the final solution - probably corrupted files or folders at the OS level.

For those who are conducting similar research I also watched the references linked below.

En route to the solution, various obfuscation were met, all of which were interesting but NONE OF THESE solved the problem of the suspension, namely:

-back to Thunderbird 38.1 extracted from Mozilla's FTP repository

-Disable all modules in SafeMode as suggested in posts below

-deactivation of reminders on calendar, pop ups and sounds like suggested in the posts below

-turn off sounds (in the systray) as suggested in posts below and new mail alerts

-Discover, finally, only one of the half-dozen or so synchronized account IMAPs has caused the problem, which is an account Exchange-synced via the excellent DavMail (Davmail upgrade to the latest version was another diversion)

-assuming that the compaction of TB was not his work and that he is too much vacuum/zombie files left lying around, leading to a redundant cleanup using Thunderfix (http://www.parhelia-tools.com/products/thunderfix/thunderfix.aspx), was nevertheless his cleaning of employment but not a solution

    What worked then...

The procedure of backup profiles recommended TB in Thunderfix and elsewhere led to discover that the copy of Windows has won at least one file during the copy. Suspecting lower level corruption, I ran chkdsk D: /f (since all data are on D: and not on C: with the operating system). No major problems found aprt of 4 files analyzed once again.

I resorted to the use of SynckbackSE to do the backup instead, noting that one of the failures was Junk.msf. That and the knowledge that the account linked to Exchange was the likely to be the culprit, I restarted and deleted everything in IMAPmail\localhost\ (DavMail connects via localhost stored files).

Restart Thunderbird (always on 38.1) and connect via DavMail pulled back all messages and folders from the source Exchange to resynchronize records localhost TB successfully. No need to use backup or same setting of TB.

Will probably now improve return to 38.1 after a period of stability.

After years of use of Thunderbird of the dowry of the year, it's nice to know that it was not primarily at fault.

  • Anyone else having programs crash after installation of Sierra?

I just installed Sierra on an iMac mid-2012. A lot of programs crash after installing Sierra, of Apple's native applications. Anyone else having similar problems? All possible solutions?

    Thank you

    Hi guitarno,

Thanks for the upgrade of your iMac to macOS Sierra! I understand that your Mac works more slowly as it did before the upgrade. You can try to start up your Mac in Mode without failure.

    What is safe mode?

Safe mode (sometimes called secure boot) is a way to start up your Mac so that it performs certain checks and prevents certain software from loading automatically or opening. From your Mac in safe mode does the following:
Check your startup disk and attempts to fix problems if necessary directory
    Loads needed kernel extensions only
Prevents elements start and the login items open automatically
    Disables the user installed fonts
Delete font caches, hiding the kernel and other files of the system cache
Together, these changes can help resolve or isolate issues related to your startup disk.

Try safe mode if your Mac does not end commissioning

After successfully started upward in safe mode, check to see if you have any login or startup items. Here are the apps that run as soon as you turn on your Mac and continue to run in the background that can slow down the performance of your Mac.

macOS Sierra: If you think you have incompatible connection points

You can also check that your Mac has enough disk space for the smooth Sierra BONES. Under macOS Sierra, it's easier than ever to free disk space! Take a look at this link. Information System for Mac: optimization of the storage on your Mac

Once these tasks are completed, restart your Mac normally and then test the performance. I'm sure you'll see a difference. Please use the Apple Support communities to post your question.

  • MacBook 2007 crashes after installation of the software

HI all, I have a 2007 MacBook running snow leopard.

Once installed was happening while the software would not be responsible, so I uninstalled, deleted from applications... Now desktop freezes a few minutes trying to do something, it is mainly trying to open anything on the toolbar...

Any advice would be appreciated, thanks

You try boot in safe boot mode? SHIFT key is pressed after chime

Start, and if you hold the key in the correct way and timely, you may need to

to provide your admin user password to continue in safe mode.

May have removed the essential parts of the system while it was trying to

delete the troublesome app; Thus it is likely a reinstall of the OS X.

In addition to the troubleshooting & using Find to locate all parts of this application

who could survive, could be performed. Also, you might try it and see that the
Console logs suggest, according to the exact time/Date of broadcast. --

You might see if Disk Utility could repair permissions on the hard drive. This

is different from that of an attempt to repair the hard drive.

You may need to start the computer from the DVD Snow Leopard system to

see if you can then use disk utility in the options menu of the installer, then

See If you can repair the hard disk using this version of disk utility.

Otherwise, you need to maybe reinstall from DVD and then upgrade the system to 10.6.8

This shouldn't erase your user account. However, applications that are

in your user account that might have been part of this problem, can be activated.

Applications from websites can be problematic. Some of them may contain odd

bad software tips; According to the reputation of the source, adware, malware or elements

No wanted or expected can upload with results very unexpected.

It may be better methods to solve problems or solve this problem. To find out what

The application did not have an uninstall program? If you provide your user password

during installation, it may request a detailed correct uninstall in order to not

damage to the other sections of the system. The applications folder is a place to look, if included.

    Good luck!

  • PaperPort crashes after Installation of Service Pack 2 for Vista

I have a Dell E531 system with 4 GB of ram and disk space.  I use Vista Home Premium.  I used Paperport 12 Pro on Vista SP1 without any problem.  Today I installed the Vista SP2 update, and now the application will not launch.  I get an error message that extension Paperport MV stopped working - by referring to the ppmv.exe.  I also have a separate error message with the same information on PdfPro5Hook.exe.  The site of Nuance recommedned changing DEP to only MS services and functions.  It did not work.  I uninstalled the application, rebooted, and then re-installed.  It installs fine without error - until trying to launch.  Then I used msconfig to restart without the startup items - so with no A / V and firewall.  I then ran the msi Paperport again and set up a repair.  The same problem.  I would like suggestions.

    Eric,

Thanks for your detailed and informative response.  In fact, I completely uninstall all paperport by using the method you specified, as well as using solvents such as Revo Uninstaller and JV16 Powertools.  It did not help.  I finally got a response from shade that worked.  They sent me a zip file with the new versions of PPMV.exe and PDFPRO5Hook.exe.  After making sure that there were no process running paperport, I renamed the old files from .exe to .old and then copied the new verasions in the appropriate subdirectories.  After that, the application works again!  It took them several weks for answer me (too long), but the answer has solved my problem.  The gist of their response was:

1 make sure that PaperPort is not active (make sure that the error message does not appear and the PaprPort.exe process fails in the Task Manager Windows).
    2. download the PPMV.zip file from the following link:
    http://supportcontent.nuance.com/PaperPort/12/ppmv.zip

    3. double-click on the PPMV.zip file and extract the PPMV.exe and PdfPro5Hook.exe files on your Windows desktop.
    4. go to the PaperPort 12 installation directory (default is C:\Program Files\Nuance\PaperPort).
    5. find the file named PPMV.exe and rename it to PPMV.old.
    6. find the file named PdfPro5Hook.exe and rename it to PdfPro5Hook.old.
7 copy the new, PPMV.exe and PdfPro5Hook.exe, extracted files on the Windows desktop, and then paste them into the PaperPort 12 installation directory (default is C:\Program Files\Nuance\PaperPort).
    8. start PaperPort 12 and confirm that the app now starts correctly.

I hope this helps others who may be affected by the same problem!

  • Illustrator crashes after installation of Nvidia GTX 970 in MAC Pro

    Hi all

Please notify this problem, it would be a great help.

After installing a new Nvidia (EVGA) 970 GTX graphics card in my MAC Pro system, Illustrator crashes all the time (random, always on "save under", sometimes on opening the files). Everything works fine in the systemand the new card works really well. However, Illustrator is essential for my work, so I need to find a solution.

    Here are the specs:

    ROM revision: VBIOS 84.04.36.00.70

Thank you very much in advance!

    I installed this... >

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 4096 MB

in a cheese grater old mac pro as you and it is a festival of crash in .ai and I would be interested to know if you are also experiencing photoshop bail out completely if you try 'resize' an image?

I tried several other drivers of web that improved things but always authorized random crashes,

    so...

the only solution that I found (and that's a total of "fix" as abel to get one with some work again finally!) is to disable the gpu acceleration in preferences (not only temporarily using the rocket button or the Preview on CPU option in the menu (, but a STOP appropriate in the Preferences section, same "fix" has been used in Pshop to make it usable as.))

I was worried that it would mean a totally unnecessary 'upgrade', but coming from a 1 GB card, everything seems still to be a lot better and faster despite disabling the GPU acceleration, perhaps simply because the operating system and all other open applications (not adobe) are able to use the GPU at least partially? and which allows a little more resources elsewhere. Anyway, this isn't a total waste, and I can now work on files that have been previously direction buy me a new imac instead of the mac pro upgrade one last time... (which turns out to be a blessing, because it seems to imac users have problems too).

the 'upgrade' was essentially a downgrade effect for me in the aftermath, as even though it have 4 x the power of the previous card, Adobe have totally ruined the options found in the application, which means that what was once a system (even with 1 GB) which was capable of an overview of the 'real time' virtually no matter what if you waited so that it runs through a reading of frame by frame 'green line '. , has now turned into an application that can only run previews in real time by jumping the executives, it's a joke...

hope get you it sorted, and I hope that nvidia will give us more options driver soon?

or adobe could remedy the situation! Ha ha, that's a good joke to put end to now I think...

    Crush Bus:

You have the MacBookPro6, 2 - the Edsel of Mac. There may be the failure of logic-board that was covered by a recall program that is now complete.

The model was abandoned in February 2011. From five years from this date, it will be classified by Apple as "vintage product." This means that Apple will refuse probably a maintenance action (see exceptions on the linked page.) In this case, you will need to go to an independent service provider. The part can be is no longer available, or the repair may not be profitable.

An appointment of 'Genius' in an Apple Store, or go to a different service provider authorized, to have the tested machine. Diagnoses of current equipment used by service providers don't detect the fault. There is a specific test for the same problem that Apple calls "VST" (for "video system Test.") Ask for it. A "Failed" result means that the defect is present.

You may be quoted a price of about $350 (in the United States) for a "repair," which is to send the unit to a repair shop central and lasts about two weeks. For this package, found nothing wrong with it should be fixed, not only the logic board.

Sometimes, the spare part is also faulty, so be prepared for this eventuality. If you decide to pay for a new logic board, rigorously test during the 90 day warranty on the repair. Some owners have reported that they went up to three replacement boards before you get one that worked.

If you don't want to pay for the repair, you may (or may not) be able to work around the problem by disabling automatic switching graphics. To use the separate graphics processor, you will need a third-party utility to manually switch to him.

Often, the problems start after an upgrade of the OS. If the upgrade has been recently, and you have backups, you can then go back to a previous version of OS X.

  • My screen is all crash after installation of screenshot Expression4 and do a first test.

System Restore did not remove the problem. Always perfect til now. Flickering green lightning and shading with sand texture resolution. Has anyone ever heard talk about this?

    Bill,

That's exactly my distrust and fear.

However, after taking a breath and revisit the kindergarten, I was reminded by myself to check the basics first.

Low and this is disconnect and reconnect my beloved screen back to its normal function restored monitor cables (pre hysterical user).

    Thank you with excuses.

  • Event Viewer ID crash after installation of VM 2.2

There, can someone help me? I can't load my event viewer after I had installed the VMS worm. 2.2. I ask that "a serious internal error of unknown origin was detected in the event viewer.

    Help!

What is the version of VEI (event ID Viewer)?

If it is IEV3.1, and that you have also installed security (SecMon) of machines monitor virtual bundle, then it causes the problem. The reason is IEV3.1 and SecMon both use PostOffice protocol, it won't work in the same machine. Please let us know.

  • Solaris x 86 32 bit crashes after installation

    Hello

I install Solaris 10 g (32-Bit, ground-10-u6-ga1 - x 86) in a virtual machine on the ESX 3.5 server. The displays come very well but when the installion is complete and reboot happens, it breaks down and vm will be turned off.

Can someone let me know how to solve this problem, I am new to solaris.

    Concerning

    David

First of all, if you have a 64-bit processor, Solaris 10 will start an OS 64-bit by default, unless you provide explicit start-up settings to force a 32 bit OS to start.  It is likely that you dΘmarrez actually Solaris x 64 rather than Solaris x 86.

You have a recent Intel CPU?  Solaris 10 x 64 GA will crash immediately while booting on modern Intel processors, due to a bad CPU identification problem in Solaris.  This produces both native mode and in a virtual machine.  Depending on how your CPU is recent, you must have at least the Solaris 10 x 64 3 update or update of Solaris 10 x 64 5 to solve this problem.

  • Help - Windows crashes after installation of update today...

    Hello

System: Windows XP 2002, Service Pack 3 (do not know how to tell whether 32 bit or 64 bit?  My graphics are 64-bit, I think)
    Computer: Dell Inspiron 530
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo CPU
Graphics card: ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT
1 browser: Firefox (updated today) 3.6.14
    2 browser: IE 8.0.6001.18702
    Flash: 10.2.152.32 (installed today)
    Antivirus: Norton Internet Security 17.8.0.5
Firewall: Motorola SBG900 (mentioning only because it made me more questions in the past)

Tried the upgrade Firefox and Flash (for Firefox) today, as requested. Installed everything fine. Tried to watch a clip video on CNN.com and got the blue screen and the crash.

I uninstalled both and reinstalled. Crashed again.

I then tried uninstalling both still once and downloaded the Flash for IE to see if it was a Flash problem or a Firefox problem. This version crashed too - blue screen with an error message.

A friend thought it might be a RAM problem and asked me to clean my msconfig - I did. No solution.

I's went to the display manager provided the graphics card and then examined for updates for the device driver. Unfortunately, the system thinks I have the latest and greatest.

It is the measure of my computer knowledge. I don't know how to disable my Norton, and frankly, not sure it's a great idea, as it has my software firewall in...  Don't know how/why/if that would even help?

Here is the lower part of the error message I got one at the moment I am the blue screen crash (in which case it helps)...

    STOP: 0X0000008E (0XBA490925, 0XA880D820, 0XE0000001, 0X00000000)
    watchdog.sys base - address BA490925, BA90000, Date stamp 480254ab

A simpler solution for me would be if there was a way to recover the previous version of Flash... but it doesn't seem to be only an old archived version I can find...

Can someone help/offers solutions that a non-geek might be able to follow (and not spoil the other stuff on the computer)?  Thank you!  :-)  It lasted four hours and counting so far...  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you very much!
    Liz

    Liz,

Stop it!  Cancel not toolbars, do not uninstall codes.

Start your computer.  Once everything is calm, open: http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/

Place the cursor over the flash window, right-click, choose settings, search for "hardware acceleratio" and uncheck it.

They will try to tell you, this is your driver, but some adobe-wingnut has a buffer uncontrolled in its code.

Anyway, it is fixed in the next version.
