Tray of the taskbar and the system on Windows 8 is not refreshed.

Hello

I'm having a problem that is becoming more and more recurring (daily) on my freshly installed Windows 8 PC. After a few hours of use, the typical symptoms are:

-L' clock is no longer at the time.
-System tray icons are not in the right place - or closed applications always appear here.
-Left on the icons remain in the taskbar of applications that are no longer open.

I have to constantly having to go back and forth between the desktop and the start menu modern in order to refresh the screen (doesn't all the time either).

I am currently up-to-date regarding updates of Windows 8.

Kind regards

Nadil.

Hi Nirmal,

Thank you very much for your response - I found the cause of the bug. Apparently, Coretemp does not handle well Windows 8, I figured this out by the process of elimination you suggested above. Consider the probem solved it for me.

Kind regards

Nadil.

When I went to another port for the USB, everything worked fine! Simple solution, that I should have tried first - duh! :-)

My USB 3.0 4TB drive was originally on a port USB 3 (which was either missing or not recognized by my Bios) and when I changed my old disk ports USB 2, everything has worked well!

  • get the 0x400110020000100b error code while making the recovery of the system for windows vista 32 bit.

I tried to do a system restore on my laptop using the included recovery disks and had this error 0x400110020000100B. The drive looked pretty beaten last week so I ordered a new series. Now, when I got to put disc 2 in (to 80% full) I get the same error.  I called customer service and he took me through the process of F9, nothing works and I also tried the F11 approach that made me not the case.  I'm frustrated because I don't really have the money for a new laptop computer.

    Hello:

See if you can make your own Vista installation disc if you can read the product key 25 character on the bottom of your laptop.

    Here's how:

If you are in a fault light but rewarding you can do yourself if you can read your product key of Vista on the PC of 25 characters.

You just download the 3 files you need on the link below and read all the instructions to create a Setup bootable DVD disk using imageburn.

Do not take into account the part of the text in the first screen shot about "extract the files in the folder of Vista."

The files were extracted already in this folder when you ran the X14.exe file by reading the text on top of the first screenshot.

The other thing I noticed is on the 4th page, where it shows Developer ID Microsoft Corporation. I had to type Microsoft Corporation in me, and then other codes already filled in.

When I went to compile the ISO file, ImageBurn gave a message on a WIM file, file and ISO, and if I wanted to burn it in a different format.

I selected no, make the ISO file.

It was not so hard to do. I burned both the disk of 64-bit and 32-bit disk in case I ever need them.

I tested both of them one my hp dc7100 CMT desktop PC, worked flawlessly.

When you enter the product key, he knows which version of Vista you have.

    http://en.community.Dell.com/support-forums/software-OS/w/microsoft_os/3317.2-3-Microsoft-Windows-v...

After you install Vista successfully, you can then install the drivers for your PC and driver page support.

  • I have a valid license for Windows XP key code, so why the system tells me it is not currently active or real?

    Windows has no

I had to spend my PC this morning. Moving it, I decided to implement a new network card. When I reconnected it all the cables, I plugged my USB mouse on another USB port where it had been plugged in before. The computer is more than 7 years old and I've never had a problem with the front Windows Validation. I have a valid license for Windows XP key code, so why the system tells me it is not currently active or real?

When Windows checks to see if you have moved your copy of Windows to "another computer", among other things, that his focus on the identification of several strands of material in the computer to see if they are different than when Windows was first installed.  I do not remember the list for now, but I remember that the network card is one of the pieces - and IIRC it is 'valuable' higher than others to reach the conclusion.

You probably other elements has changed over the past seven years and now Windows has decided to have a "new" computer  Assuming that you haven't changed the motherboard - if you had, you would have had this issue at the time wherever you did--your installation is still legal.  Reactivate using your original license key. It should work online, but you will need to call the number that appears in the error message from re - validate.

  • Error message "the computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered an unexpected error" after starting the system on Windows 7 Recovery.

While trying to reinstall Windows 7 on my Dell Inspiron 1545 of the reinstall DVD after you have installed a hard drive again, I got this message: error message "the computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered an unexpected error" after starting the system on Windows 7 Recovery. Tried F10, SHIFT F10 and nothing happened. Then I tried a suggestion of virtual Agent to press F8 to get to advance Boot Options, but this option does not appear! Help!

For Dell cptrs, you will need to press F12 to access the unique Boot Order Menu(= a temporary setting), little after the Dell logo appears on the desktop. U hv only 5 seconds to do, b4 the cptr will automatically initialize to top with the internal HARD disk.

....... F12 is usually used to start the cptr since the DVD player or a plugged in USB-flash drive with a Win 7 install or recovery media.

To permanently change the boot order, you must similarly press F2 to access the full Boot configuration Menu. The default boot device is the internal HARD drive, but this can be changed to DVD player, USB, disk, network drive, etc. F2 is usually used to start the cptr of an external hard drive(= USB HDD) that contains a bootable Linux operating system.

  • Failure of the system for Windows 8 image backup

I downloaded Windows 8 a few days ago. I tried to create a system image to an external drive, Western Digital 500 GB (409 GB free) four times and each time after a few minutes a message said that the backup failed. The backup of the recovery Partition seems end OK every time. The failures occurred after a minute or two in the backup of the C: drive of the OS.

The external hard drive checked OK. The player has already had an image of the system for Windows 7 which was removed before the backup attempt. Here are 2 messages I received as the backup failed. The other 2 were much the same, I think.

"There was a failure in the preparation of the backup image of any of the volumes in the backup set. (0X807800C).
The mounted backup volume is inaccessible. Try the operation again. (0X8078004F)."

"There was a failure in the preparation of the backup image of any of the volumes in the backup set. (0X807800C).
The specified drive is not found. (0 X 80780081)"

Below are the 2 files on the external hard drive after the failure. I guess that the first was the complete recovery Partition backup. I don't know much about this sort of thing.

  • On the Protection of the system in Windows 8!

    Hello

My question is in the protection of the system in Windows 8, I have C and D lit discs! And when you turn on the drive C drive D is also on both at the same time! These drives supposed to be because I was still able to do the restore of the system both off!

Thank you very much for your help,

    HONEY BEAR 100

Yes, drive C and drive D are always when the computer is turned on. Drive C is your main drive and D drive is often used by the CD/DVD drive in your computer. The only way to 'turn off' the D drive is by disconnecting the data cable and the power cable on the CD/DVD drive. I have no experience with the system restore.

  • the system shows windows 7 not genuine

Less than 2 weeks ago, I bought a laptop S12. It works fine but there is a question that bothers me quite. Sometimes (but not always) when I opened a picture using windows photo viewer, an error window appears saying that the copy of windows 7 is not genuine. Then if I followed the link this window provides for the solution, it will ask me to insert the CD of installation of windows 7 that I have no (I found that at least, and S12 notebook is not a driver of cd/dvd-rom in any case). If I ignore the problem, the words "this copy of windows 7 is not genuine...» "appears at the bottom of my office.

I try to contact Lenovo last night but the gentleman who receives the call just gave me another phone number and asked me to call on weekdays from 09:00 - 19:00. I tried to call between 9 to 09:15 this morning, but no one answered the phone.

Anyone know how to solve the problem? Thank you and happy new year to all.

I didn't ask, but he asked me if I was a reader of cd/dvd external... and I said that I don't have.  I guess I have to send my laptop for them to reinstall win 7 if he asked. But a key recovery solves the problem anyway.
