  If you are referring to the right of the slot above the paper tray, then this is called "monitoring power slot." This would be used for special media (envelopes, labels, paper thick, etc.).

• LaserJet P1102w: Impossible to activate printing odd/even

  Hello

  I try to print double-sided on my first impression p1102w all odd pages of my document, then even pages.

  However, under OS X Yosemite (10.10.3), there is no way to change the default to print preset. I can view all the presets and see their settings, but there is no way to change the values.

  There are buttons remove and duplicate the presets, but these buttons are grayed out and inaccessible. Does anyone know how to activate different presets? I realize the p1102w is a basic printer, but certainly odd/even printing is a pretty basic requirement?

  It seems a shame that HP do not provide their own driver Mac to Yosemite but rely on the provided Apple pilot, who must surely be much more limited.

  Hello Steven!

  Great to see that you were able to locate spent settings and complete the required task.

  Add in the menu the lowest (the one listed as layout / name of the application (e.g. Textedit) / copy & Pages in MS Office applications) you can select manual Duplex printer, who will guide you to charge the other side easier.

  If there is no dialog boxes displayed to reload a page load just the side printed face down in the input tray, then open and close the top page cartridge access door to return to work manual duplex.

• HP LaserJet P1102W long delay between pages with narrow (4 "wide) paper stock

  I use Adobe Acrobat Reader X (on Windows XP) to print a page 100 PDF on HP P1102W, with 4 "wide x 11" long paper in the main tray.  There is a delay of approximately 15 seconds between pages.  As soon as I share the narrow paper for regular 8.5 "x 11", the printer takes the job at normal speed.  The PDF itself has a page PDF 4 "x 11" size.

  I tried implementing a custom 4 "x 11" paper size in the print preferences and setting the paper type to envelope, but nothing done.

  I tested with 5.5 "wide and 7.5" wide paper stock, and they have the same 15 second delay.  As soon as I put 8.5 "wide stock in the status bar, the printer goes back to full speed.

  Note that even with the thin paper stock, the first page of the job prints immediately.  The delay occurs between page 1 and 2, 2 and 3, etc.  So it seems strange that the printer does not have the 'calibration' delay before printing the first page, it delays only on the following pages.

Start > devices and printers > right click on the printer > click on printer properties > Ports tab > checkbox under Port (IP address of the printer) - Description (Standard TCP/IP Port) has BEEN VERIFIED. My wife the box computer Port that has BEEN VERIFIED was (Advanced Port TCP/IP). I checked the Advanced TCP/IP Port and now I get the printer dialog box and everything is going well!   Anyone know a source for the purchase of an an iPhone SIM card Tray 1 (first generation)? I have mine since 2007. My wife is an educator specialized and I would use the phone like an iPod Touch, basically. I have to get the iPhone enabled in order to use it, but requires a SIM card. The original plate is missing. I searched Amazon, eBay and the web in general. Can't seem to find a. Any ideas? I also have an iPhone 3G with a SIM tray but the tray does not adapt to the iPhone 1. Thanks for any help or ideas.

  I think you'd find it difficult to find, because of his age and that the 1 G is now a bit of a collectors item.
