Hp p1102w LaserJet upper tray: howto

Hello, as subject has said, I have a hp 1120w, I pointed out that there is a double-sided option assisted, so when I decide to use it I have to manually move the paper...

Well I see that there is a second tray of papert, superior of the first, how do I use it? Why are there?

Thank you

Alessio

If you are referring to the right of the slot above the paper tray, then this is called "monitoring power slot." This would be used for special media (envelopes, labels, paper thick, etc.).

Please let me know if you need more information.

Is it possible to change the name of a HP LaserJet 4250 tray?

    Greetz,

    Jurrien Bruggink

Well there's no easy way to do I know offshore. I have come across this thread on Apple support community: Print rename status bar. They're editing the PPD file to change the names of the bins. It seems that it is possible within the OS X with some serious tinkering.

I couldn't find a place were someone was able to change the names of plateau in a Windows environment.

    I hope this helps!

  • HP LaserJet 4000TN tray 3

My HP LaserJet 4000TN malfunctioned - I had a paper jam and pulled out the paper and now it has a noise loud roll at the back where the book comes out.  First of all, how can I solve this problem.  Second, if I can't fix it, have a spare HP LaserJet 4000N.  Can I remove tray 3 of the 400TN and put it in the 4000N?  It would be nice to have an extra bin.

You do not have an add on 500 sheets which they referred above. The sheet of 500 on the N model is not an add on but a part of the original printer as the 2 250 sheet pan is part of the original tn model. There is a way to separate yourself from the printer in her 2 halves. The trainer and trainer in the cage needs to be removed and the purple wire behind the cage harness should be removed. Left side trim should be removed because it has a screw in the lower part of the fan that needs to be removed and in front there are two long screws that must be removed once it is and then you separate the charger of the printer of the upper part and move on the other machine which was to have her removed charger. Suggest you do a search on google for the maintenance of the printer manual as there are instructions with pictures. A lot of sites off the manual for free.

  • Printers Multifunction LaserJet 600: Laserjet MFP - tray 2 600 do not lift

So I have a printer Laserjet 600 who repeat his tent raised tray 2 assumed that the engine is down I just here for an overview see if there is anything else I can do. I passed on trays just to make sure that it is not this, but still the message happens.

Does anyone else have this problem? You can simply replace the engine? or does go deeper then that as a control on board is no longer sends the data to activate it?

The number on the left indicates the number of page when the error occurred, the number on the right is the error code.

In this case, your number of pages current is probably higher than the numbers on the left, which means that those who are the old codes and have nothing to do with the current problem.

I just faked the problem on the M602, I removed the tray, determined which finger came out of letter size paper which is the middle finger.

Then I reached in and pushed the switch from the Center to the bottom so that the printer has been trying to raise the tray and after about 10 seconds, he got an error 60.02. I repeated the process twice, in an interesting way, the first time that I had not seen the error immediately, I had to push the home button to access.

I work under the assumption that your machine is not any additional trays under tray 2.

At this point I would replace the DC controller, but I have a spare for troubleshooting if that would make it easier for me than for you.

  • LaserJet P1102w: Laserjet P1102w cannot activate the installation with Windows Vista 32 bit PC computer wireless

Hello forum HP, I can use the Laserjet P1102w with USB connection on 3 different devices including a portable Apple and PC Windows Vista and Windows 7 laptop computer, but can not perform a wireless installation with the broadband internet connected wireless PC running Windows Vista 32 bit. The main message is that the computer does not find the printer even when using the USB connection. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi @Kaiser3107,

Welcome to the HP Support forum.

I understand that you have a HP LaserJet Pro P1102w printer that connects three thin devices via the USB port, but you can not perform a wireless installation on a fourth device, equipped of Windows Vista 32-bit, because the PC does not detect the printer via the USB port. I would like to help with that.

Here is a support document which includes 'USB device is not detected by Windows' which can help the issue of detection - Troubleshooting (Windows Vista) USB connections.

Please let me know if that solves the problem, or if you need assistance.

  • LaserJet 5200tn tray 3 paper jam

I have a Laserjet 5200tn who gets a tray 3 paper jam, each time, prints fine from Tray 1 and 2. Page feeds on tray and stops with the leading edge just below the exit rollers. I replaced rollers pick up in tray 3 and checked for obstructions the paper path, no effect. Any help would be appreciated, I'm stuck.

  • M603DN: Laserjet M603DN tray 2 not up.

I have a laserjet M603DN that once powered on the lifting of sandbox 2 shows continuously.
Fan 101 turns and after a few seconds, but never ceases. No other engines don't turn.
Had a DC power controller and power for an another M603DN (midwest Lightning) and used
them in this printer. No help. It will show if tray 2 is deleted, I can access to the
menus, but it does not print even from Tray 1. Impossible to find pieces of paper anywhere
in the paper path. I switched from a working printer fuser
(his party to the user), and I tried to do a motor test with and without
the formatter is installed. Just today, I replaced the tray lift motor. The problem remains.

I replaced EVERYTHING in this thing I could, another warehouse shipped us an M603 they let fall down the stairs. Swapped motors, fans, fuser, tips... and now will print a page, then give unexpected paper size error and will not print page 2 or more. PS106 and PS103 now test the bad. The printer broken is broken in this area so its sensors are too bad. I can't find the sensors online. I now have a good true stock of spare parts for the next. Thanks for all the help.

  • LaserJet 8000dn: Tray 1 question Laserjet 8000dn

I have a tray 2 and tray 3 on my 8000dn printer. However, even if I don't have a tray 1, I can not turn off my tray 1 and the default printer always to it. I had to work and now, for some reason, tray 1 is back in the picture. I have 11 x 17 paper loaded in tray 3 and I still want to go to tray 3, default, but the printer will not accept my changes.

I don't know what the @davidzuts mention Java being perhaps a problem with the old 600N EIO card is referring.

But I do not see what Java has to do with what size paper is requested by the print job (such as generated on the workstation), unless you use some custom Java-based applications to generate the print job.

We should establish exactly what size paper (as appropriate, of course) is requested by printing or tasks.

The simplest method would be to 'capture' a typical print job to drop, and then analyze the content.

On the systems Windows capture would be achieved by using the "print to a file" option in the print dialog.

To analyze the contents of the resultant captured .prn file, use the PRN file analysis tool in the whole PCL app, available via http://www.pclparaphernalia.eu

  • LaserJet P1102w: Laserjet P1102w access to the wifi configuration

I just replaced my router and need to set the laserjet to access.  I have not been able to find my way to Setup wifi and have probably made a mess of it.  I removed my printer from the printers and devices.  Still, there is a print job that is stuck in QC.  So it will not let me delete the printer.  But it does not show my printers and devices.  I tried to reinstall the software download.  But I get a message that it cannot delete the old.  Is there a way to connect to the printer using the IP address and then making the changes?  I spent about 4 hours on it.

I was able to access the printer from my Kindle Fire Tablet and print it from there.  It also appears when I search for printers in my desktop pc.  But I can't connect.

    Thank you

From your description, it seems that the router settings have to be modified to include security. Your network is encrypted? You might consider contacting your router company to check your router settings. Alternatively, if you are comfortable to make the changes yourself, you can enter the web server integrated routers and are looking for encryption options.

  • HP LaserJet M506: HP Laserjet M506 tray 3 always of the duplex, but no other tray don't

I have a user that when printing in tray 3 it always duplex even if I uninstall the duplex under its printing devices option.  Tray 2 works fine.  Any program they print from as soon as they choose 3 duplex she plateau.  If they choose the tray 2, it doesn't.  Any ideas?

I got it all fixed.  In the printing software under Print, manage trays it is a menu drop down called 'Header Mode Alternative' I put this on Disable and now the printer prints only 1 piece of paper in tray 3 when the Duplex is not installed.   And since when the user who is Duplex is installed, and then assign him not Duplex is actually not Duplex.

Thank you for taking the time to help me.

  • LaserJet P1102w: Laserjet P1102w too slow with MAC OS x and Android

    Hello

I use the P1102w via WI - Fi for a few months.

I find it very effective use of Windows.

BUT it's amazing slowly by any other OS.

And I use 99% MAC OSX (El capitan).

Perhaps because there is not a specific driver for MAC? Only the OS Win has a specific program/driver which works very well

With my MAC OSX (no specific diver HP for MAC OSX on the HP site, instruction to use the MAC drivers) when I send a spool the P1102w printing, it can take 10/05/30 minutes to print a few pages (4).

Even from between the 1st and the second page printing, it can take some minutes!

I tried the size and format of different files.

But even with the small file (less then 1 MB), it's the same result.

OS Android, it's the same effect. You send the print job, and we must wait and hope that it will work.

HOPE, because often the print job does not complete successfully.

BUT the same file of Windows (since a slower PC, my MAC laptop has a better material and performance) has no problem printing and it is sent to the printer in a few seconds.

Thanks for any suggestion to make MAC & Android printing faster (at least at a speed of accetable, because more than 10 min then for a small print job is not acceptable).

  • 2 HP laserjet 2420-tray problems

So, I recently bought a HP 2420 off good ol' ' amazon.com. It works very well. Great, actually! So, stupid, out of curiosity I have 2 drawer and there was a small square, teal'c button upward in the right corner. I pushed him, and the inner plate on top of tray 2 fell. So I freaked out the printer and tried and tried, but he would just go back in. Any help? I have people waiting to print. Thank you.

UPDATE: I contacted HP Support AND I am not happy. I need quick help, guys!

Then... the whole tray fell! It was a problem waiting that press you the button...

If you look closely at the rear end of the status bar there are 2 holes... those that coincide with the 2 lugs/cams in the printer. Fold the holes a little and you can get the holes on the lugs/studs...then fold back so that it stays... Then the tray swivels just straight up like it's supposed to...

    Good luck...

  • LaserJet P1102w: laserjet P1102w

The printer named above has been my default printer. It's my only printer installed and connected. However, is no longer on my computer (also a HP product). He has simply disappeared. I think I ran all could see that HP Support solutions. The doctor Scan and HP printer does not "see" the printer. It is not "visible". He sees the computer, but not the printer. WIN10 has been downloaded last July and printer worked very well until last month. All of a sudden, nothing.  When I try to print on WORD no longer account for the printer. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Thank you, Forum to help solve my printer problem. I knew the solution somewhere. I didn't know where. I think that everything is now OK. I print a happy storm.

  • Difficult to change usb Laserjet P1102W wireless connection

I currently have a macbook OS X Version 10.6.8 running.  I initially installed the printer (P1102w laserjet) with a usb connection and now I need to change to the wireless.  Setup online says to do the following:

System of preferences print and Fax to Open what to print , and then click printer setup

Then click on the utility tab, and then click Open Printer Utility

Then click on Config of HTML.

Here is where I encountered the problem.  When I click on Config of HTML, instead of opening the utility, as shown in the video, it opens a browser with a bunch of html source code.  I can't do something more that there is nothing to click, just a bunch of code.

    Can anyone help?

    Hi @shardul2000,

I see that you are having problems running the HTML code to configure the wireless. I would like to help.

Make sure that Safari is set as default browser. (sometimes the SAP will not open if it is not set by default)

Open Safari, at the top, select the Safari menu, select Preferences, general, as a default value.

Delete and add the USB printer in the print and scan window and try to re-run the HTML code.

If you're still having problems, close all applications to access another way to run the HTML code.

In the Apple menu bar, click Go, computer, MAC hard drive, library, Printers, HP, LaserJet, click the folder for your printer, click HTML config, it should open the webserver integrated for the printer to set up the wireless, and then click the network tab, click on wireless on the left and fill out your information. (be sure to infrastructure is selected and alpha or numeric is selected) Apply the settings.

You should get a solid blue light on the printer in 1 minute about.

Remove the USB driver, then add the network printer:

    Click on the Apple.
    Click on System Preferences.

    Click the printing and scanning.

Select the printer, and then click the sign - to remove the printer. (USB driver)

    Unplug the USB cable.

Then click on the + sign and select the printer from the list and click Add. (Hello P1102w)

    Test the printer.

If you need help, let me know.

    Good day!
    Thank you.
