  • How to fix failues error 2203 during startup, installation of HP S/W and S/W JAVA updates.

Recently I experience 3 installation failures each based on the code of 2203. The first is a «tray app» trying to load at startup, another occurs during a full S/W installation of an all-in-one HP printer and the latter implies simply try installing later in the S/W JAVA review. I am also unable to uninstall HP both JAVA installs original. I can't determine what the trayapp error nuisance boot trying to install and it finally stopped the attempts after that 6-12 cancel orders. I have not had any success, getting around the two problem areas second. I tried two types of scan/repair the registry also with no success tools

I also see tips to overcome their problems.  So I was wondering if I should follow the same steps with my problems could possibly expect similar success?  And yet, I should repeat these steps for each problem separately or only "compensation" would be enough for everyone?

  • TrayApp.msi missing

I recently replaced an older HP Photosmart printer with a Pro Officejet 8610.  Before you install the new printer, I went through the control panel and uninstalled all the HP software on my system.

Connected to the new printer and installed, it is software and everything works very well with regard to the printer; However, I get an error message when I boot by demanding that I re - install TrayApp.msi.

A bit of Googling suggests that this is related to some software (image/photo) that came with the old printer, if that's the case I don't have these disks, and that the software was supposedly completely removed.

I've seen solutions to get rid of this message that State re - install the software, but this isn't my current printer software so I don't want to do that.

I would like to know how completely remove some looking for this application, which I think is a... registry entry?

Any help greatly appreciated as the error message starting to get embarrassing now!

    Thank you.

    Hi Ged_B,

    Thank you for your answer!

Please use it, HP Officejet software and driver removal utility, instead of the L3, that it will not affect the new printing software at all.

Hope this helps you and have a great day!

  • trayyapp error at startup

It is likely a piece of software which it was installed or uninstalled recently. You have installed an HP printer on this computer?

TrayApp.msi missing. I have windows xp. How should I do?

    Hi LarryBullington,

    ·         You did it of any material changes or software on the computer before this problem?

    ·         Exactly when you receive the error message?

The TrayApp.msi file is associated with the HP Photosmart Digital Imaging software.

If you receive a popup of the message, I suggest to uninstall the HP Photosmart Digital Imaging software and reinstall it back.

Note: You can download HP software applications from the web site of the customer; or if the software was supplied with the computer, you can reinstall using the HP application recovery process.

  • Update Windows XP Pro/Adobe Reader fail/error 1601

Problem started with the pop-up box 'Windows Installer' TrayApp.msi, ScannerCopy.msi, error 1601. Computer works fine, the printer works fine. Adobe Reader update installation failure. Worried about the security updates. Set to "automatic updates" everyday. Printer installation has been done since the HP Web site. Can you help me? English plain please. Not a developer.

    English plain please.

"Plain English", specifically including complete sentences, is also useful when you ask questions.  You must also specify the version of Windows you have, including the Service Pack (click right my computer and select Properties, if you do not know).

Whatever your printer works well has to do with the errors that you see?  If there is a problem with your printer, please include the brand (HP, I guess) and the model.

When this popup error happens (that is, which causes the error)?

Was the message itself, that you have received 'Windows install is not accessible.  Installation cannot continue because the Windows Installer is accessible.  Error 1601 "code?

If this is the error message you received, then:

Open a command prompt window (start > run > cmd > OK).
In the black command prompt window, type the following lines and press ENTER after each line

    msiexec /unreg
    msiexec/regserver
    output

You shouldn't really have to restart the computer here, but do it anyway.

Do whatever it is that caused the error message.  Things work now?

If you want to install Adobe Reader, the current version is here: http://get.adobe.com/reader/ don't forget to uncheck the box to install McAfee Security Scan Plus.  You can be happier, however, with the software free FoxIt Reader, an application that is much less inflated to read pdf files.

  • How can I remove a tray application. Location of the file is: AppData\Local\Temp\7zS1050\setup\TrayApp

This appears on the re-start and as it is a set of file, try to put in place.  Appears when you try to download a driver for HP printer.  HP has no idea how to get rid of it.

    Hello

TrayApp is a software that is installed with the software that is needed for printers HP used with a computer system. This error occurs because the unfinished program installation or because one of its files has been removed from the registry. To correct this problem and remove the trayapp.msi error, the missing file needs to be reinstalled

    a. try to restart Windows or open the software HP (the one that displays the error message).

    b. Insert the installation disc into the computer when the error message appears. The disc will be included when the HP computer was purchased.

    c. click 'OK' in the error message window. The installation disk will now run. When asked if you want to repair or reinstall the software, chose "repair." The installation disk will now scan the system to see which files must be installed and corrected.

    d. click "OK" once the repair is complete. The trayapp.msi error should no longer appear.

The feature you are trying to use is on a network unavailable resource. Click OK to try again or enter a different path to the folder containing the installation package 'TrayApp.msi' in the box below.   etc, etc.
