  Hello, I have bought 3 piece of Toshiba DT01ABA200 and I have the same problem.
  Is there any firmware upgrade to stop this noisy problem?
  I can not understund why Toshiba does not give any support on their HARD drive

• dv4t-5100 (A9Q30AV): recovery of Win 7 Home Premimum OS dv4t-5100

  I have 2 laptop computers HP (dv4t and Pavilion g6) that both have Win 7 Home Premimum 64-bit installed.  I used the Recovery Manager (rebecca.exe) on the g6 Pavillion to created a set of recovery disc for Paviliion G6 (finished with 5 DVDs).

  CD 1 of the set of recovery disks should be bootable, that I can use to re - install the OS Win 7 on the g6 Pavillion (the disk set includes the OS Win 7 installation image and all the drivers required for the g6 Pavilion).

  dv4t-1500, recently broke down, cannot restart under Win 7 normally.  Seems OS image corrupted (or some other problem).  I didn't create all of the recovery disc (3 DVD that includes the operating system install image more all dv4t device drivers).

  Is it impossible to use the re g6 Pavillion recovery discs - install the OS Win7 image on my laptop dv4t (of course I have to correct the device drivers after the Win 7 OS is reinstalled). ?

  Running Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

  4 GB OF RAM

  Processor - Intel (R) Pentium (R) CPU N3520 2.16 GHz

  Right on my problem. I bought this laptop a little shy of 12 months now. Not had a single problem with it, went well unrolled, never overheated. No failure etc. About 2 days ago I woke up my laptop computer out of sleep mode (and I would add that I have it sleep approximately 80% of the time I use it) and it seemed to me that the start ID imagine but it makes terrible noise whining about 6 seconds while the display is charge up then goes. After that I connect to windows it makes noise again for another 15 seconds.  I reduced to the hard drive, ive put my ear to the computer and he moved away reduce what it might be like the noise becomes lower or higher according to the meaning I listen in. The noise starts with a click then a plaintive sound. The question is, my hard drive is failing and if so, how to avoid this or create a backlog p in my files before the hard drive of my beloved dies on me.   I've recently updated ITunes and asked to restart my laptop in order to complete the update. After the reboot, when trying to log in I was kept waiting on the loading page that says welcome. I restarted twice now times have stayed for more than 10 minutes, I'm on my third reboot now and I was kept waiting on the home page of loading for more than half and hour.   I came across your post and want to help you solve the problem with your HP Pavilion 15-n005 not start correctly. This can be caused by a few different issues, so first of all that they have to be narrowed down.
