Trimming transparent Pixels

I have cropped the photo 16 x 20. With this culture, I'm done with transparent pixels on the right and left edges. I used the trim tool to remove the transparent pixels. Question - after removal of the transparent pixels with the adjustment tool I always ready for printing photo 16 x 20 full OR because I cut the transparent pixels my picture went to a slightly smaller size?

Use Ctrl/Cmd + Alt / Opt + I and see.

Is there an easy way to remove all the of them, following the outline of the shape?

Each digital image is always rectangular (or square). That's the whole point of transparency: it allows to watch as it has the shape of a star or a sailboat or a German Shepherd, even if this isn't your rectangular image.

In this case, create the two button in a single image file that you slice.  I don't do web pages but know many a navigation bar was built using slices. However, I don't know how irregular, you can get without disrupting your system. Given that the slices are images of their limits will be rectangles. I know little about HTML mouse overs, however, everything I've ever seen in html for images has been setting height width and alignment never seen anything that is related to the shape.

  • The copy does not copy everything and makes the partially transparent pixels

I had this happen several times now when I copy a selection it will copy everything it contains exactly as it appears in the reference. It copies sometimes more and sometimes he makes outside partially transparent pixels. It's a bit annoying when you do the SNES. A way to disable this option? See the pictures attached for reference.

Artur: Try to do this with the option of "smoothing" out on the magic wand Options bar.

My guess is because this option is enabled and that your work is so small (because it is based on the pixels), Photoshop is interpolate the selection to include a "smoothing" to transparency.

This work has a hard edge, so there is no need of anti-aliasing.

  • Photoshop opens the dialog box when you try to fill a layer with locked transparent pixels

This script should set the layer to lock transparent pixels and then fill the layer with a color. She is doing this, except when it is in the filling phase, it opens the dialog box fill, and you have to hit OK.

If you omit the transparent pixel line, it works as not expected, no dialog boxes.

Is there a way to remove the box? Or I'm doing something wrong, which is causing the box to open?

Not sure why this is happening.

But I would recommend blocking the above and using the AM code for a fill that pays tribute to transparency.

  • Why transparent pixels add so much to the size of the file?

no doubt and I hope that I simply don't see something simple here, maybe it's just how things are but I have to say that I don't know why they are it seems strange...

the thing is when I save an animated gif (except for the web...) I find that if I use a single color background clear size may be radically different when you use the transparency option, if it is turned on (while the non-transparent pixels are accordingly, white Uni) I'll see normall about half the size of the resulting file that I had chosen to have this not selected (using the same origin).

now, if I really want to use transparent pixels in the gif, the result will be a file size double than with a background fill.

so my question, why is this? Is there a cure? So then what?

now added screenshots... These are all using the same graph, the size of the file is comparable between the images labelled 1 and 2.  Strangely, the output size goes backwards when I try this graph with 16 colors...

    Hi nt4bys,

Space empty and transparent is information as well. If a PNG image has an alpha channel, each pixel is made up of denunciations (r, g, b, a) for components red, green, blue and alpha. In the case of a transparent pixel, only alpha is simply 0, but it is information that is present in the file. That said, you want to minimize background or edge of transparency which can be cropped out of the picture of the moose. There are also tips and tricks to save files and the lowering of the size of the file. For example, http://tinypng.org is a site that allows you to reduce the size of your PNG via a service.

    Hope that helps!

  • Convert transparent pixels in color

    Hello

How can I convert all pixels (100% transparent) transparent in a picture at a specific color?

Adding a layer of color below is not the solution I'm looking for, because some pixels are partially transparent, and I don't want to change them.

I use the function "select color range" a lot to do things with specific color pixels, but this feature doesn't seem to work in this case.

I'm creating bitmaps for a program, where the transparent parts of the image must be represented by a specific color.

    Thank you, Andrew

Load the transparency of the image as a selection and invert the selection. Switch to Quick Mask mode and Image > adjustments > threshold, with a level of 255. Exit quick mask and selection will be all the pixels in the 100% transparency, you can now fill with the color of your choice.

  • Mimicking Photoshop's "Transparent" Pixels

    Hello.

I was wondering how could I make, mathematically, a Photoshop effect.

Let's say you have a layer in Photoshop.

By selecting its luminosity could be done by going to the the Ctrl key and clicking on the RGB Channel window (you can even use the circle at the bottom of the window).

Now create a new layer (Transparent) and while the selection is active, fill it with black or white.

You get the pixels semi transparent.

How can we achieve the same effect Mathimatically in Pixel Bender?

    Thank you.

Not sure if I understand your question right but I think that's what you want!

  • Transform white pixels in transparent pixels?

It's probably very basic, but...  I am a printer and only really use Photoshop to change the RGB to CMYK, clear cut (with Vertus fluid mask) and things like that.  But many photos that I have to cut clear have been done already, but not (or which is given to me to use the record) with transparency always there.  Is there an easy way to transform all the white pixels with transparency?  Of course, you'd have to hide the white pixels in the image that you want to keep.  An example is attached.

    Blackberry.JPG

    Steve,

    Try the following.

1 covert the context in which the regular layer (layer > New > layer)

    2. Select the white area with the magic wand or quick selection tool

    3. hide the selected area (layer > layer mask > hide selection)

4 export the image (file > save for Web) in GIF or PNG format:

  • Increase the opacity of the semi-transparent pixels

Using the tool eraser or many other methods I can put pixels in a layer be semi-transparent. Let's say I have save such a layer without history. How these 100% opaque again pixels? Y at - it a tool that does the opposite of gum?

As long as the pixels have not been completely erased, you can try to duplicate the layer several times, and then merge duplicates for more opacity in your pixels.

  • Image and transparent pixels or transparent color

Is there a way to define a transparent color in the display of an image? Or JavaFx support transparency in images (GIF, PNG or TIFF), where the transparent color is defined in the image itself?

I don't think that you can specify a transparent color to an existing image, but JavaFX does not support transparent colors in PNG for example.

Are you sure that there are no stray pixels there. Two stray pixels could cause a borders as show you. Below, I have created a document with a transparent border. I have it tricks and in the document to chip away at, I added two stray pixel 1% opacity. You can't see them but their there. I then used menu Image > trim on both documents see the results.

If your just looking to make a simple model of your image, you would probably best results just by using Edit > use as motive:

Put your image for the model on it's on layer, turn off all the other layers visibilty, Image > Trim > transparent Pixels, then change > as a reason.

Then you can use layer > new fill layer > pattern to apply the model to an image.

The designer is most useful if you need to make a transparent model on a more complex picture. (i.e. a selection of a portion of a photo)
