Trusted websites?

Somehow my IPod running 9.3.3s date and time has been changed and when I went to search it says "trust" to something and I did so I could seek, whenever I tried something else, it pops up again and im wondering how to untrust these things, I set my date and time back to normal and alerts went, but I don't know what I trusted, so I want to untrust, any help?

Also, I reset my location and protection of personal information

I use Eset Smart Security 7 and Firefox on Windows 8 unique.

I faced this problem right back in Firefox 2 days only. All other browsers (Chrome, iron, IE10) work as usual.
How can I solve this problem?

    Concerning

If you use the feature of ESET that filter web traffic, this problem could be caused by ESET intercept your secure connections and presenting a false certificate. If you see ESET as the transmitter, you have a few options:

    (1) disable SSL filtering

This would solve the problem instantly, but you would have less protection. Check the documentation of your product for specific details, or if you have ESET NOD32 ANTIVIRUS 7 look under:

Advanced Setup (F5) > Web and email > Web access protection

Here you can adjust if HTTPS is scanned. (At least, so according to this manual.)

    (2) try ESET automated to import certificate

This will allow Firefox to accept the false certificate signed by the certificate of ESET.

These steps are listed on the forum of ESET:

    • With all browsers and e-mail clients private, disable SSL analysis (Advanced setup (F5) > Web and email > Web access protection, I think under protocol filtering > SSL), OK change
    • Re-enable SSL scanning, OK change
    • Start Firefox and test

    (3) manually import the certificate ESET in Firefox

This will allow Firefox to accept the false certificate signed by the certificate of ESET.

According to the manual, you can export the certificate to ESET under:

Advanced Setup (F5) > Web and email > access protection Web, perhaps in the section protocol filtering > SSL

    Search

See the certificate > Details > copy to a file...

Once you save the file (probably with a CER) you can import it using the certificate Firefox display.

"3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Options > advanced > mini-onglet Certificates > "view certificates" button.

Click the References tab and then click the import button.

  • Firefox reports an error of TLS for a website that I trust, but provides no way to override the error message.

For a few months (end of 2015) Firefox returned an error of "secure connection failed" when I try to access my account at a major insurance. The site worked fine in Firefox for years and works very well with Microsoft Edge, but I prefer to use Firefox. The link "more info" in the error message indicates that the message the site uses outdated TLS security and I have to contact the owners to tell them to update. I've tried and failed; Blue Cross makes it even more difficult to "contact us" that Mozilla does.

Why is there no no "I trust this site - go anyway" option? I'm experienced enough to make my own decisions of safety.

Thank you! The security.tls.version.max had been "user set" with a value of 1, and I have reset as you indicated. The value is now 3 and I could access my Blue Cross account normally.

I guess that dates this problem when I got my new computer and did a new install of Firefox to August 10. The TLS parameter is perhaps one provided with the download.

BTW, I noticed BitDefender in the news of the page also. The error page didn't identify its source; 'other info' led to support from Mozilla, but I was wondering if my antivirus was the culprit. Apparently, this is the setting in place of security of Firefox.

    Problem solved, thank you, jscher2000!

  • Why? on EACH web search I get a message saying "Firefox prevented this website." These are sites of trust for the most part

I rebooted the free version of the Firefox browser, about two months ago. Since then, whenever I navigate, with few exceptions, Firefox displays a message bar at the top of the screen saying "Firefox prevented this site" with the message, there is a checkbox asking ' ALLOW? When I check ALLOW it most of the time, I get a web page, BUT on some occasions, Firefox keeps just block the page.
Sites and pages that I refer here are for the most part, places of TRUST.
This happened since I rebooted. It was NOT a problem before that.
It is VERY annoying and I have since passed to Google Chrome.
If you can offer any reasoning or explain why this is happening, I will be grateful.
    Thank you. mLowe51

  • Error security website, certificate of the root CA certificate is not approved. To enable trust, install this certificate into the store certificate authorities roots of trust.

Original title: CERTIFICATE ERROR in OUTLOOK

I am using windows 7 Home Edition premium, of late, when I connect to my e-mail in Outlook I get the message, there is a problem with this Web site security certificate.

My partner can successfully connect to their account using the same laptop.

I noticed his security certificate is by VeriSign etc, but mine is by mail.live.com, and he says this CA Root certificate is not trusted. To enable trust, install this certificate into the store certificate authorities roots of trust.

Are you talking about the Outlook program or the Outlook.com web site?
They are two very different things.

Microsoft has confused countless people giving these different
    things of similar names.

  • Why did fox fire blocking all I go on websites and saying: it is not trusted? Since when cnn and google become unreliable? What fool would not trust cnn?

    See the question.

We have seen reported problems caused by the Avast and Avast! Security extension line which displays in the list of system details.

Find out why the site is not approved (click on "Technical Details to expand this section) and if this is due to a missing intermediate certificate, then see if you can install the intermediate certificate from another source.

You can retrieve the certificate and check details such as WHO issued the certificates and the expiration dates of certificates.

    • Click on the link at the bottom of the error page: "I understand the risks".

Let Firefox recover the certificate: "Add Exception"-> "get certificate".

    • Click on the "view..." button. "and inspect the certificate and the Coachman, who is the issuer of the certificate.

You can see more details like the intermediate certificates that are used in the details pane.

If "I understand the risks" is missing, this page can be opened in a (i) frame and in this case, try the shortcut menu and use "Frame this: Open image in New Tab".

Note that some firewall monitors connections (sure) and that programs like Sendori or Fiddler (FiddlerRoot) can intercept connections and send their own certificate instead of the certificate of the Web site.

  • How can I stop Firefox from blocking a Java applet on a website that I trust?

I'm trying to run an application that displays the competing routes during an orienteering event. My problem is that Firefox is blocking the Java applet. I get a window saying "blocked by security settings Application. Your security settings have blocked an app to run with a precarious jre or has expired. »

I tried to look at the Firefox Help on "How to enable Java if it's been blocked", but it does not help. He's talking about by clicking on the Red plugin icon in the address bar, but it is not a plugin red icon in the address bar.

The application is www.epoc.routegadget.co.uk. It worked when I used it last Sunday.

  • What should I do if Firefox crashes a few seconds after trying to load any material animation, be it ads on the side of Cheezburger websites, videos from YouTube or Hulu?

I just bought a new HP Pavilion 23 inch all-in-one desktop, one without a modem on the side because everything is held upward. I'm usually on the technical plan and can understand things more easily. This, however, ahurir me because I think and know exactly how something to do, and I can't get a response at all. In any case I downloaded Flash once or twice more to try to solve this problem, but it has not disappeared. What it does is, each time I have want to watch [or don't want to look, in some side-of-site-video-ads] tab Firefox with the animation will be very sensitive, and any click on any Web site, such as the page next to the Cheezburger Web site or just the fact that load a video on YouTube or Hulu will cause Adobe Flash Player to plant within a few milliseconds. It lets you hear the first 5 seconds or so of the video before it stops [seconds after no response from Adobe, I might add] because Adobe does not and then crashing. In most cases where the video makes it crash, most of the time that the video image does not load before it crashes, or, even if an image is trying to load, it's just a green color dark forest instead of the image of the video on YouTube. If I'm looking for the non animated images and small GIFs, such as the humor Cheezburger websites or funnies to Touteleurope.fr, it does not crash on me. The majority of the videos I have watching is Anime related. I don't want to use Google Chrome, because I trust Firefox to catch other ads of arise, which is nice, but I might have to if it is not resolved.

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration. As this feature has been added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there are still some problems.

You will have to perhaps restart Firefox for it to take effect, so save any work first (e.g. you compose mail, documents online that you are editing, etc.).

    Then perform the following steps:

    • Click on the orange top left Firefox button, then select the 'Options' button, or, if there is no Firefox button at the top, go to tools > Options.
    • In the Firefox options window, click the Advanced tab, and then select 'General '.
    • You will find in the list of parameters, the checkbox use hardware acceleration when available . Clear this check box.
    • Now restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.

In addition, please check the updates for your graphics driver by following the steps in the following knowledge base articles:

This solve your problems? The report please come back shortly.

  • problems loading websites with Safari 6.2.8

I have OSX with Safari 6.2.8 10.8.5 which worked well.  Safari suddenly stopped loading Web pages.  Should I go to Yosemite or which will cause more problems? I need Safari to work.

You can not upgrade to Yosemite, it is no longer available.  Your only upgrade option is to El Capitan.  Running Safari 6.2.8 alone should not cause a complete inability to access any website, so something else might happen.  Please post the results of your report to EtreCheck .  It is a tool of diagnosis developed by a contributor trusted and respected here, and this will allow us to see what is installed on your hard disk in the path of the applications, drivers, plugins, extensions, etc..  No sensitive topic is included in the report.
