Try adding 8 of Windows Media Center to my Windows 8 Pro edition.

Copy the product key sent to me. Then, when I try to add features, it validates the key and stops with this message "unable to create a restore point. Microsoft technical support could not help

"Cannot create the restore point. "Stop this wizard and try again. Tried several times without success.

Is there a way t download 8 Pack Windows Media Center Pro and then apply the code of product that has been shipped by Microsoft?

Movie from Netflix in Media Center

I have windows vista media center home premium 64-bit version. I was able to watch movies through the center of media until recently. It automatically pulls up to my account, etc. in queue, but when I click on a movie to play it takes me to a login screen. I try to re-login, but it goes just to the same screen and will not play. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but to no avail... same problem. I even uninstalled and reinstalled silver light, but it doesn't work anymore. If anyone has had this problem and have they been able to solve it? I can watch them via Explorer very well, but I want to be able to use media center. Help, please!

    Hi all
I have Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit and a USB Pinnacle USB TV adapter (80th).  Which works fine with the software provided by Pinnacle, (TV Center Pro) using Clear QAM. However, I want to use the adapter USB TV with Windows 7 Media Center.  When I go in the options of signal TV of WMC, it shows Clear QAM as an option.  Can someone tell me please how to display the QAM option?  And why is it hidden initially?

    Hi all
I finally got that it works, and that a single push.

First of all, I uninstalled all drivers for my TV card in Device Manager. I had to do this several times, as he kept drivers already installed conclusion, but finally there lack of pilots.

    -Reboot
-J' pressed F8 during boot and selected "disable driver signing" at startup.
-Once Windows 7 has been started, I installed the drivers Beta 64-bit listed above.
(I didn't understand how automatic default to F8 and 'Disable driver signing', always looking at this information, my plan is not to restart very often at the moment.)
-Then, I scanned for TV stations, technnicaly my adapter showed as two adapters, said the Media Center window to search for the two adapters and found all my ClearQAM channels.

I have installation check, I'll see how it works, but so far, Windows Media Center looks really sweet.

I hope this helps others, I know that I spent many hours to find it.

Original title: why is Netflix in Windows Media Center does not connect to the internet?

I rebooted and tried the repair of Windows Media software, it fixed 4 things in Windows Media Player, and when I tried again to the Windows Media Center, it still freezes my pc.
I am running Windows 7 Home Premium, all updates from Microsoft are up to date... no other problems. I'm running WMP 12, which is ongoing.
    That is what it is?

  • Video error Windows 7 Media Center

I have just upgradded from Vista to Windows 7.  When I try to play videos in media center, the screen is blank but the sound works fine.  The same thing happens when I play a DVD, but if I use powerDVD it works, so it seems only related to media center and windows media.  The same thing happens with Live TV, I get guide info and sound, but no video.  Once again, if I use the media center of catalyst that accompanies my tuner card it works.  This would be ok, but I like much better windows Media Center.  My graphics card is an ATI Radeon HD 4350, which worked fine under vista.

Hey thanks for the help, you can't win them all the.  I came to the point that it was before you run the sfc/scannow, I could do a reinstall soon.
