Tungsten T3 with WiFi PalmOne & Email card

I recently bought the PalmOne wireless card for my T3.  I managed to connect to my home network is a Linksys WRT54G, which has been connected to the internet.  Now, I'm trying to manage my e-mail account with the T3.  It is programmed to the e-mail of the T3 via the cradle sync and works very well.  I unchecked that hand and think I put everything.  However, I get the following message: "ERR [AUTH] invalid user/password.

The first question is; Can email sent from the T3 with a WiFi card?  If so, what Miss me.  Thanks in advance.  Frans

Just an FYI; Finally, found that Snappermail will work with the Tungsten T3.  Detective Conan!

  • Satellite M100: Slow down data transfer WiFi with WiFi Intel 3945ABG card

Just jumped a nine M100 XP upgraded to SP2 on our network and have problems with Wifi.

Everything works, just really slowly. Takes about 5 minutes to drag an MP3 off file server, download web pages at the speed of a dial-up modem and my beard length doubles wait even a modest flash file to load.

Have tried so far the following...

-Speed is good on the ethernet cable, but not on wifi.
-The connection is good on the wifi (11 Mbit/s) and the signal strength is excellent.
-All other laptops on the network are quick work
-J' updated the drivers for the last provided by intel, no change
-J' applied all the service packs and updates to XP (was a brand new box yesterday)
-Deactivation of different modes on the driver to make no difference
-Disabling the QoS mode in the double network data NET Panel

I see messages earlier that I'm not the only one who had this problem with Intel 3945ABG chip, but I do not see a solution of publication. Anyone who has been successful is to solve this kind of problem.

The data rate is barely usable to access internet and quite ineffective for LAN filesharing or Skype.

  • The Ralink RT5390 in a Pavilion dm1z wireless card works with WiFi on 5 GHz?

I have a Pavailion dm1z, which uses the Ralink RT5390 wireless card. I have a router dual band with WiFi networks on 2.4 GHZ and 5 GHz. The dm1z is unable to pick up the SSID in the 5 GHz range, it can for the 2.4 GHz band. Is the Ralink RT5390 card dual wireless broadband? Can it captures my 5 GHz wireless network? If this isn't the case, allow new drivers for it? Or the dm1z can be updated to capture the WiFi in the 5 GHz range? What other options I have to do the 5 GHz WiFi?

    Hello

I put t know what problem you have, but check the status of the WIFI card in Device Manager. After this check, if the card is correctly enabled or disabled. If the map is successfully activated the laptop should be able to see WLAN network. If this isn't the case, I assume that there is a problem with the wireless network card.

  • RALink RT5390r 801,1 1 b/g/n 1 x 1 wifi adapter in a Pavilion dv6 notebook works with WiFi on 5 GHz?

The card Ralink RT5390r 801,1 1 b/g/n 1 x 1 wifi in a Pavilion dv6 notebook wireless adapter works with WiFi on 5 GHz? I need to change the network card?

    Hello:

Any card with a bgn suffix is a single 2.4 GHz single band card.

A card with agn or abgn is a dual band.

I doubt you will find a dual band compatible to your laptop wireless card.

The BIOS has a whitelist which hangs in the cards wireless not supported to be installed.

The service manual may indicate a card dual band for your model, but the part number will be probably wrong.

If you are familiar with the process, yes you could upgrade the wireless card and Windows XP would be able to use the speed of upgrade, subject the new wifi card you select has Windows XP drivers available.

Does anyone else have this problem?

If I put a 32 GB card in and the format, I can access the media and the removable_sdcard without problem.  Put 64 GB in and format it, still doesn't work.

If I have to I'll just go to the smallest card, this is the only method that I am able to transfer files with the encrypted card. (I guess I could transfer to the media, then move the phone to sd however)

    Thank you.

If you want Windows to be able to access the card using USB (mass storage not) or WIFI, card formatted in FAT32 and exfat should not.

OK, well as long as the samba host can access the file system to be shared, it should work.  I use openbsd this is why I am stuck with WiFi for an encrypted sdcard.

In general, I always format a card in the camera it uses, but I tried to format the card of 64 GB as fat32L on my computer and put back them in the phone manually.  It works fine for me now, I'll leave this way.

    Thank you<-->

I used to do the same thing, just format it in the camera, but since the 10.2.1.3247 updated, it does not have to use either WIFI or USB access (not mass storage).

I'm just glad you can now go and enjoy the divce as you used to

  • HP Pavilion g6-1b53ca with wifi Ralink RT5390 will not run on 802.11n

Hello.  Does anyone have any advice for the following?

I have a laptop Pavilion g6 with a b/g/n wifi Ralink RT5390 card.  It works very well with my Linksys WRT54G and GS DD - WRT routers.  I recently got a new Linksys EA2700 with v1.0 of the Linksys firmware.

The laptop again works very well with the Linksys EA2700 as long as it's WPA2 with mixed mode at 2.4 Ghz.  It shows connected to 54Mbps... which is g mode.

Any ideas on why he used to connect fashion n greater speed?  It is only 5 meters and shows an excellent signal strength.  When I change the EA2700 from mixed mode to mode N... The HP error message just says... impossible to connect... the diagsnostics can't find anything.  I have a Samsung wifi phone and there is no connection problems in n to the same router EA2700 mode.

The laptop shows the RALINK RT5390 as with the 3.2.13.0 version in Add/Remove Programs section.  The shows 5.0.9.0 device driver date device driver dated 27/11/2012

Thanks a lot if anyone can make comments.

    Edward

    Hi, Edward:

Please see if updating the driver to the latest version of help.

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=ob-127448-1&cc=us&DLC=en&LC=en&OS=4063&product=6521374&sw_lang=

Then go to the Advanced tab for the device in Device Manager and check if there is a bgn mode to select.

It is possible that the pilot, that you have only has an auto or b/g mode.

You can also check first before updating the driver.

You should get 65 to 72 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band.

The card can receive and transmit on the 5.0 GHz band.

  • Update internal laptop DV6500 Wifi N Wireless card?

    Hi all

I was looking to see if it was possible to upgrade my laptop wifi internal card a G wireless with a Wireless N card.  I would avoid making the USB card or expresscard because the expresscard is too expensive and you can't really find them much more, and just USB sticks out too far and use USB ports.  It seems that it is not difficult to do the physical replacement, I found the card looks like, it can be all just unscrewed and replaced.  However, after looking at some threads here and other observations and comments online, it seems you need to find just the right part to do, even if I did not really reach a concrete conclusion as to which is the right side and where.  It seems that HP is quite picky about what cards you can put in those laptops.

So my question is, if I want to do an upgrade of a Wi - Fi N, is there a compatible card to use my laptop?  Here are my specs:

    Laptop DV6500z

    AMD Athlon X 2 64 1.8 gHz processor

    4 GB of ram

    Windows 7 32 bit

Wi - fi + bluetooth (which is another question, is bluetooth built-in wifi module or is separated in this laptop?)

I looked at the maintenance and Service of Guide (http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c01295877.pdf), and he mentions on the bottom of page 4 top of page 5, the types of wifi modules.  It shows a few Intel ones and some Broadcom ones.  In my hardware device manager it appears as a Broadcom 802.11 g network adapter.  On the module itself, it does not seem to show a lot of additional information...  It simply shows the part number 441090-001.  After watching this pn in HP partsurfer, I get the following description:

    Wireless 802. 11 b / g mini PCI card (Broadcom, Hoya) adapter - 54 Mbps data rate

So which PN I get at this level to WiFi N?  Thank you!

    -capT

Actually, scratch that... I guess I won't do anything else with this 'thing'. Finally, he gave the soul the other day, and nothing I've done has been able to revive. Owell. RIP I guess. Whatever...
