  I suggest that you do not use any charger not manufactured by Motorola. If you need a better charger, my recommendation for you is to buy the Motorola Turbo charger. As it's Motorola, it shouldn't pose any problems with the Moto G 2nd gen. It should load much faster phone. If the G supports fast charge of Qualcomm technology, it will load even faster.

• The turbocharger failure?

  Woke up the other morning, discover my phone battery was dead. I had plugged in the charger before bed, but when I woke up, nothing. I tried the charger into a different outlet. Nothing. Trying to hook up an old phone in it. Nothing.

  Finally, I grabbed an old charger I had (not turbo) and only plugged my Turbo 2. Recharge! So at least there was nothing wrong with the phone.

  Down to Verizon today I hope to get a replacement. Question is this: everyone knows this yet? It seems unusual to me, it's something as simple as a charger may stop working.

  First time I've heard of the failure of turbo charger. I guess that's under warranty with Motorola, but a company Verizon store would be my first stop.

I never had a problem like this on my Razr Maxx HD or the Moto X 2014. He gets better?

  Another issue I have is that I recently spent at Runtime in the Dalvik for ART Developer options (so it is faster when the update of lollipop coming and for other benefits) but I found that when I turn on the phone, he optimized 253 all apps I had. Not a big deal, that happened when my X 2014 updated to 5.0. The question came when the phone charged the homescreen app command would not be responsible and I could not close the screen. So I turned off the phone, and when he turned he said he was 58 optimization apps. The app of command worked.   The only solution, I know, is to return to the Dalvik for now. For some reason just ART don't play well with the Turbo running the latest OS of KitKat.

  The 5.1 update, if and when it happens, should solve this problem because the ART is the default operator in this configuration.
