Turning the power on

Hi guys

I recently bought a desktop computer HP P6-2375EA with processor AMD A8-5500. Since the first day, which is now three weeks every time I have it lights only light blue power lights without CPU activity. I then need to power off by pressing the power button for 5 seconds.

On the second time after pressing the power button all lights ok. Suggestions re simple difficulty or do I need to contact HP for evaluation.

    Hello Kenneth Pincus,

You can create a new profile on the computer and if the desktop icons stay on their position. If this is not the case, the other profile is corrupt. To create a new user profile, you can see the article mentioned below for the procedure.

It's normal.  You can turn on your laptop and log in all with a single blow.  Try it.  Power off your system and then drag your finger.  If it's a good shot and it is recognized, you are to go turned off to the turning on and connected in your office all with one shot.  You won't even have to re-do slide to authenticate with the operating system.

  • Poster printer constantly turn the power off then on again. OfficeJet 4500 wireless on Windows 7

New installation of HP Officejet 4500 Wireless on Dell Inspiron running Windows 7 Professional.

I can't past the message on the printer then "shut off".

I tried unplugging all the cables on hold and reconnecting repeatedly and in various orders, but without result.

I find HP help impenetrable to user pages quite a novice.

Can anyone offer a solution please

    Thank you very much

    Hi Tedlngle,

Remove the cartridges from the printer and then unplug the printer for 1 to 3 minutes, and then plug the printer back. Make sure that the power is connected directly to the wall outlet. Follow the instructions on the screen to the printer to reinstall the ink cartridges and let me know if you have the same problem?

  • How can I turn the power on and off NI 9263 voltage output using a distribution channel?

    LabView 8.6

    cDAQ-9172

    NOR-9263

I used the simple fan control - but can it be modified to turn on and off via a channel instead of a button.

In other words for example 5 seconds now and 10 seconds off the coast.

    I would also be adjustable.

    Hi Helpme9211,

Try it please change as my attached screenshot.

Printer displays this error.  When I turn it off it automatically re - start, head cleaning cycles and system then, checking everything as you think it is all new sorted, it goes back into the error.

I tried without clogging and the location also.  I tried to turn off the wireless cable connection but the loop continues.

I came across your post about the problem of error code you encounter and I wanted to respond to help with my suggestions. I have some links to share with you, because the error code could be coming during a network installation, or it could be a type of system or the cartridge of the problem. I wanted to cover all the bases to try everything and nothing. If you do not connect the printer to a network, you can ignore the first link and go the other links.

  • 10GBase-T module lights turn off after turning the power on switch

I have a pc6248 with the latest version of the firmware and a 10gbase-t module which lights do not go after turning on the switch.  But if I do a "reload", the module lights turn off and works normally.  So there's something about switching on the switch that causes the module lights stay on and the module is not connect or traffic through until I do a 'reload '.  I have another module that works normally in the switch, so it doesn't seem to be a problem with the switch.  Has anyone else seen elsewhere?  Clues about what can happen?  Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I see, unfortunately there isn't really anything that can be done of these modules. No update of the firmware or something like that.  Having two of the same exact module, 1 works and 1 does not work, indicates a problem with the module. Is the module a recent purchase? If so, you can get toggled.

With the defective module installed, if you issue a shutdown command and then a no shutdown interface command, behavior change at all?

  • Turn the power off when you insert the new hard drive (additional)

I have a server poweredge R710 Dell with a PERC 6i controller. Currently, there are 3 installed disks than RAID 5 and are 0-2, all of the listed physical disks are online with no hot spare.

My question is: I don't have 3 disks to install on the server exactly the same readers who are in the current configuration. Do I have to turn off the server to install these drives?  (I'll use OMSA to develop the existing single VD configured.  I saw a post that says not to shut down the server, so I am just wanting to make sure that everything I do is go on the server, install the new disks in slots open while its engine to the top and then make my other functions in OMSA to extend the RAID.

    Thank you.

You never turned off to introduce new disks, except IF you are migrating a VD together for another computer or controller.

  • Can you have SMU 1062 q turn on without using the power button

I use a q SMU-1062 for a test project that will take place inside a protective case.  The power button on the chassis will be covered by a plate on the protective case that make it boring and difficult to switch on using the power button on the chassis.  The chassis will be plugged into a power strip of travel - lite which is mounted in the case.  Is it possible that I can have the power to frame on when I turn on the power strip?

I found another route.  In the controller BIOS, I changed the parameters of loss of AC power to TURN on after that AC is returned.  This allows me to use the power strip in my configuration to control the electric network distributed to the controller.  The following steps will describe how I got this.

    1. Power of the SMU-8115 controller.

    2. A message will appear on your screen, press to enter SETUP

    3. Select 'Remove' (quickly, because you don't have a lot of time before the window disappears and the controller continues to load normally.)

    4. This will open the main Menu of the BIOS

    5. Select the Advanced tab (use the arrow keys to highlight the selections and the different tabs, select a setting change with 'enter'

    6. Select > Configuration power and rest

    7. Change the configuration to power on when power is restored.

The controller can be normally close by using the start menu, and "shut down".

Start button / stop of the chassis is still capable of turning the power on to the controller, but now when I shut off the AC power strip and then return power, get the controller chassis.

  • XP freezes at startup then begins after the power is turned off and on again

After a windows session and wait that my computer close, I usually turn the power off to the outlet.

Upon restarting, the computer hangs on startup controls and can be recovered in closing with its power button press again to restart.

    The ideas people?

I guess that if you leave your computer plugged into the wall - IE do not activate deactivate the plug - you do not have these problems?  If you turn off your computer by unplugging from the wall, the computer comes back on the motherboard battery to retain the BIOS settings (and keep the time as well).  These symptoms may be a sign of a low battery or motherboard failure. On the first power cycle, it attempts to recover the BIOS settings, and the second power up then maybe succeed.

    Check your motherboard battery.

  • Satellite A100 - battery all night while the power is off

    Hello world

I have a new Satellite A100 and I noticed that when I fully charge it and then turn the power off and remove the plug from the socket, the next day when I stick it back in the socket of the control light yellow says that he is in charge.

So, I turned on the computer laptop and checked is full battery and it says 94%. I let it finish loading at 100% then it off again and came out of the plug. The same thing happened the next day! He held again!

I don't know that I did not in Hibernate mode because I checked all the settings and choose Turn Off to turn off the laptop.

I read on the battery recall, so I searched on the toshiba site and downloaded the program from battery test. The result came out that my battery is not between the serial numbers involved. I even manually checked the number on their list but mine is not supposed to be affected.

Is anyone having the same problems, or is it normal that the battery itself?

Please let me know... Thanks :)

    Hello

It is normal and you should not worry about this. The same thing happen on my Tecra. Please check this Toshiba document on this http://support.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/FAQ6301EP000ER01.htm

  • My t61 - no power after changing the power plug

    Hello guys,.

If the short story, the power jack on my t61 did not work. I bought a new one, changed today, I have the pluging it - no power at all. I don't think it's the charger until the end, that he was working, its here to say, I didn't start the laptop for about 3 months. It was a pain to launch before, I had to turn the power jack in all the possible was just to make it power on. So my concern is now that the motherboard is dead or not.

Please all you have as a clue will be more than appritiated!

There is not much needed to get the power led lights up. It is possible that you something shorted. IT is possible that something is not plugged in all the way. Even if the CPU is not in memory is not sitting, you would get the power light. Is it possible that the twist before broken wire between the adapter and the machine? You can get another power supply to try?
