  I upgraded from Capitan in Sierra and got the problem that after I pressed the power button, the screen is full white. This problem has occurred on the Sierra, never happened in Capitan.

  Just looking at the cover, it's an image full screen inside a PDF file. The text is not crispy even at 100%, and if I pinch and zoom on the page text is not resolved in a high quality version.   You will need to purchase a full commercial copy of Windows 7 and do a clean install. You cannot use a Windows XP hacked as an operating system that you are eligible for an upgrade. Make sure that there are Windows 7 drivers for the hardware of the laptop. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!
