Tweaking DVD compressor Presets

I'm authoring of a DVD that is 61 minutes long in DVD Studio Pro.  I intend to help 90 minutes best quality DVD of the compressor preset to get QT movie small enough file.  The music is very important in this project and I am wondering if anyone can offer any useful for the preset audio settings to get the best sound quality?  Since the total running time is only 61 minutes, any advice on the strengthening of the video quality so would be much appreciated.  Thank you in advance for your help!

In the encoder > Audio pane, set the dialog box - 31. In the preprocessing pane, the value None. Select a short, requiring in the preview with the article at points and. Do the same for the preprocessing, choice of light and music Standard so that you have three separate Dolby Digital settings in the batch window. Present and then evaluate the three output files.

As for the video, if your source material is a higher resolution to the DVD and will be sized down (for example, the HD to SD), controls Frame, set filter to resize at best.

Good luck.

As mentioned by Larry, you can create MPEG2 files in Premiere Pro as well as Adobe media encoder.

But an automatic reading of the DVD creation depends on the application that you use for burning DVDs.

If you go with Adobe Encore, please find instructions for authoring DVD autoplay here:

  • How to create a DVD that contains many videos?

First 13 items on what operating system? Have you updated 13 to 13.1 with a project open Help Menu/updates to date?

    For your immediate question...

If you have several video files on want present on DVD disc as DVD VIDEO standard or widescreen on DVD disc, then

    a. you put side to side on timeline Publish + share/disk/disks and DVD with presets of the project = DVD Dolby NTSC or NTSC_Widescreen_Dolby.

    b. If you want your visualizer to be able to navigate through the content of the DVD during his reading with the DVD player, then you work with chronological markers, like judgment at the end of each movie content Timeline markers - you don't put a stopper at the end of the last file on the Timeline.

What you wrote, I think that you have lived it. Therefore, I'm not sure of your intention

I would like to burn these projects on the same DVD. I saw the video on the subject to make a video with markers, but I would rather my separate videos

What follows is what you have in mind?

If you have several projects, each with the content of a film to enter the very end project, then export the content of each project and then import these exports in a new project for the actual burn on a DVD disc. If this is the case, we can speak of project and export settings for each project.

  • Reduction in the size of the film when burned on a DVD

    Hello

I'm using EPA 11. Several times I have copied TV programs of my Sky + rewritable disc on DVD through my DVD recorder/player, here of EPA on my PC where I change them - usually remove ads etc. - and then they burned on a blank DVD to appear on my TV. Basic, simple stuff and no problem until today when I tried to do it with a movie about three hours in length. Here is the chronology of the events:

    1. the film when shown on television in my Sky box + was the normal size, i.e. it filled (widescreen);

    2. Once burned on a DVD - RW and aired on television, it was always in the same dimensions, filling the screen.

    3. when it is copied from the DVD - RW for EPA on my PC it still has plenty of screen size.

    4. After mounting on the EPA, he was always in the same dimensions;

    5. after use of the EPA to burn it to a DVD-R, it was always OK to display on the PC by a media player. but

    6. when the DVD-R has been shown on my TV via the DVD player, the image had a black border around it and was about half the size of the original. Change the ratio of the image makes no difference: the border remained and the image is smaller than the original.

    Any ideas, please?

    Thank you

What version of Premiere Elements and what operating system is involved?

    1. the film when shown on television in my Sky box + was the normal size, i.e. it filled (widescreen);

    Just what is normal dimensions - 720 x 480, 16:9, 16:9 1280 x 720 or 1920 x 1080 16:9 or others?

    2. Once burned on a DVD - RW and aired on television, it was always in the same dimensions, filling the screen.

Where you burn on DVD-VIDEO to DVD - RW disc, and what was the specific burn screen 16:9 or 4:3? You deal with the usual 720 x 480/720 x 576 resolutions or a custom resolution?

    3. when it is copied from the DVD - RW for EPA on my PC it still has plenty of screen size.

What was the predefined project used for this project? Please explain "copy" - after ensuring the good the project 4:3 or 16:9 preset, do you insert your

Disk DVD - RW in the burner tray and then select Add media or get media/DVD camera or computer drive/video importing and end with

Creating files video elements timeline DVD (VOB)? A project 4:3 or 16:9 at this point? And, what have you used to burn to and

its setting - publish + share or share/Disc/DVD with preset = DVD Dolby NTSC_Widescreen or something else?

    4. After mounting on the EPA, he was always in the same dimensions;

    And what were the dimensions.

    5. after use of the EPA to burn it to a DVD-R, it was always OK to display on the PC by a media player. but

Please confirm that you use here - what project screening and what burn specific selection Publish + share or share/Disc/DVD - NTSC_Widescreen DVD Dolby or something else?

    6. when the DVD-R has been shown on my TV via the DVD player, the image had a black border around it and was about half the size of the original. Change the ratio of the image makes no difference: the border remained and the image is smaller than the original.

Assuming that the you're in a position of workflow for the DVD-VIDEO playback on DVD-R disc, what are the properties of the VTS_01_1.VOB in the VIDEO_TS folder on the DVD-R disc. Properties see audio video Media Info (tree) of the program. If Windows http://sourceforge.net/projects/mediainfo/

Just be careful to download and install choices so that you don't receive any unwanted baggage that might come with MediaInfo.

There are several places along the way where you could have ran into the parameters of a project and export settings conflict. And we must not throw a question of TV settings.

  • Some of the Menus Adobe Premiere element cause DVD burning failures?

Some of the Adobe Menus cause DVD burning failures?   What should have been a project of 10 minutes for a small 4 minute video took hours as burning DVDs stopped at 4% and then gave a message of "something has prevented completion in progress DVD burning".  I could finally solve it down for the Menu template, and when an audio clip looping has been added.  The Menu was built for an audio clip loop, but when I removed it the fine burned DVD.

Since my last post, I checked that my drivers are up to date.   Driver updates were made to the display card Intel HD 4600 Graphics and Chipset Intel 8 series/C220 family SATA AHCI Controller.

I created a new project and changed the flow of work to remove the check mark from selection to 'Add Menu markers automatically for me'.   When the menu has been selected and displayed, only the main Menu was to confirm that I didn't remove the Menu scenes.   At this point, I finished the remaining workflow and tried to burn on DVD using the stated parameters previously.   However, it had the same failed result.

I went then to the path of Premiere Elements menu bar: Edit > Preferences > General

The option "use hardware acceleration (works on Intel HD Graphics 2000 and higher)" has been selected.  I unchecked this option and clicked on the OK"" button.   I then tried to burn DVD with DVD NTSC_Widescreen_Dolby preset.

Success!   The DVD was burned and confirmed to work in older DVD player (AVCHD burning earlier disk did not work in older DVD player, but worked in a new Blu - Ray player).

It seems that the "use hardware acceleration" option preferred default was the problem in the prevention of burning DVDs.

A.T. Romano thanks for your quick response and help to solve this problem.

  • Preparation for the DVD release

This is my first attempt at creating a DVD for myself using again and I'm not clear on a matter.

After watching a video on setting up the output files, I find myself with a question about the resolution of my video files.   The rendered images are 1920 x 1080 resolution.   Y at - it a way to still take these files and create a DVD where the video resolution is lowered up to 1280 x 720, as a final result without cutting any part of files. In other words, I need to see the whole picture unless it be cropped?

    Any help will be appreciated.

    Thank you.

In the first use a dvd mpeg2 preset for export, this resize it to fit and do two good files to import into Encore, a video and an audio.

  • Bad import and export of quality. CS6

When I import a video or a photo (it's HD) it seems pixelated and shit when in full screen and when I export. Help pleaseeee.

The link is private, so I couldn't see him.

However, looking at your capture sequence settings, Yes, this sequence is wide by 480 height 720. You can't develop as the monitor of a computer without the need to have the program "extrapolate" a large NUMBER of pixels, as you can probably see on a 1920 x 1080 or something similar. It will be very pixelated. Period.

Was exported to say DVDs using DVD mpeg2 presets more a sound channel, try using Adobe Encore DVD authoring or another program creation, it will maybe look ok perform on a DVD player to a TV. That's what DVD are, after all.

It will never look in case of export like the mp4 or something to play on a computer screen 1920 x 1080 or more.

  • Problems using again after editing

Once I edit a film strip, I go to Adobe Dynamic link and then "send again" half way what fact transcoding it close and restart my PC.

I use Win 7, 3 GB of memory, a HARD drive of 1 TB to dedicate.

There is no explanation or suggestion to stop this problem? or there is another way, so after editing I can burn the movie to a DVD and watch it on TV?

    Thank you very much

    Juan

Export your timeline first media using a pre-configured with the good rate MPEG2-DVD.  Import into your project again.  If you have selected a DVD MPEG preset in the list of the SOUL, still do not have to re - encode.

This method is more reliable than the use of dynamic links.

  • How to make a coherent sound voice?

Hi, I'm working on a video where I had to record the audio several times. I have a mini soundbooth to my room, however since I have my check-in several takes and you can tell that I do it because of slight differences. I tried to just standardize everything - 1 but that did not really help either. Y at - it a type of filter that I can run on these documents to make them sound more like they were all recorded in one take?

    Thank you

Well, if it's just small changes in levels (as you have mentioned normalizing implies) and then there are a few things you can try.

One is the speech Volume Leveller (effects/Amplitude and Compression/speech Volume Leveler).  There are some fairly simple adjustments, you can play with to balance levels while still allowing a dynamic range.

Alternatively, some compression base applied to any likely track of you agree.  Indeed, on any work voice radio or video I normally apply compression anyway.  If you haven't played with before compression, please spend some time to learn the ins and outs of what made each setting.  Rane library has one of the better series of lessons I've found: Dynamics - technology & Applications processors

However, if you want quick and simple to try presets, effects/Amplitude and Compression/Multiband Compressor preset 'Broadcast' is a useful starting point.  Or under the effects/Amplitude and Compression/Tube modelled compressor, the preset "Voice Over" is another good starting point.  Note that with compression, you can normalize a little once you have matched the levels.

All this assumes that it is just a matter of level.  If there are other differences, it becomes much more complicated!

  • PREL 13.1 is the problem, or is it the burner in my computer?

Again, I hope that the expertise of leaders dedicated to our USER FORUM can solve my problems.  Thanks again for your devotion and its efforts on behalf of all those who are struggling to produce our masterpieces.

I bought 13 El Pre Dec 29 and installed 05/01/15.

My computer - Hpe 580 t, OS Win 7 Professional 64 - bit with a second hard drive internal 1 TB;     Burner drive F: name - hp CDDVDW TS-H653T

Intel R Core TM i7 CPU 950 to 3.07 GHz, RAM GB 9,00

I use a Nikon Coolpix 100 camera to video 5 mega indoor pickleball tournaments pixels. These range from video clips of seven seconds to a minute or two.  I use PREL 13 to have the clips in full games, which requires a lot of editing to eliminate between rallies and correct lighting.  From up to 5 or 6 hours of clips, I reduce to a movie that will fit comfortably on a single DVD - less 4 GB or 1 hour and 45 minutes, the finished material.  After having fought alone for three months, I was able to produce such a DVD in about two weeks, thanks to A T Romano.

THE PROBLEM, after all the time and effort to produce a good film, Prel does not recognize the burner on my computer; therefore, I can't produce a DVD disc.  (I always go through the dialog box publish and share for burning a DVD with the recommended settings.)  See Figure 1, below.

Even after that I click on RESCAN several times and make sure that a disc is in the drive burner F:, PREL 13.1 refuses to find the burner to the computer.

Due to the insufficient internet speed of download speed (generally between 2.5 and 3.5 Mbit/s), my video sharing is entirely dependent on the engraving of one to two hours of videos published on DVD.  I tried to save the movie to a Video_TS file on my computer, but can't save all parts of the film in the same TS file and be able to burn a DVD using ImgBurn.  The menus and scene markers are completely missing, and some of the video clips are also missing.  See Figure 2.

I want to use the film Tools Menu and scene markers to denote the beginning and end of each scene, that will burn it to a DVD for playback on TV.  Movie menu and scene markers only work if I use the burner to 13 PREL.  Other external burners, such as Windows Movie Maker or ImgBurn do not recognize the theme of the film or scene markers, and don't provide a way to go to a certain marker of scene on the disc.

While working on other projects, I was able to burn the DVD; However, I became more in more frustrated, because the vacant box indicating no burner detected is happening now in every time.

This problem would be solved by the upgrade or install a different burner?

Or is this a bug anchored in the PREL 13 software? (Such as a burn may fail by inserting a stopper at the end of a movie or scene)

Another PROBLEM: there is no way to record video clips edited in a file, to be reused when PREL refuses to recognize the burner to my computer, forcing me to start over with the editing process.

To avoid importing raw videos to PREL in a string without end of clips and editing, I tried to save every game, or sometimes a whole match, to mpg2 desktop file.  It could then be returned to my project by drag-and - drop the file on the timeline in the right order.  This works in theory, but even once, PREL does not detect my writer to PUBLISH AND SHARE.

Thanks a lot for sharing your knowledge and experience with me.

    Thanks for the details. Appreciated.

Because the issues take to burn to disc and burn it on the record, I think that the best course of action is to

    a. uninstall the program in the usual way of Control Panel

    b. make a free ccleaner cross with antivirus and firewall disabled

Free download CCleaner - optimization of the PC and cleaning-

    c. install the program with antivirus and firewall disabled.

Once we have this, we will review

    a. publication + share/Disc/DVD disc with the DVD NTSC_Widescreen_Dolby preset

    b. publish + share/Disc/DVD with burn to: folder (4.7 GB) or (8.5 GB)

    c. publish + share/computer/MPEG with presets = NTSC DVD widescreen

Do not know why you have NTSC standard display in settings when you're

the value of a 16:9 project. But more on that later.

Questions of recognition as well as burner not being able to burn the folder may involve multiple factors.

Have you done a recent update to iTunes?

We look at the results of the uninstall/reinstall and then decide what then.

Well in this case you have to CS6 Encore to author the DVD.

Export of first with a dvd mpeg2-preset (you can change the settings if you like)

Import these two files (audio and video) in again, menu creation, burn, completed.

To acquire Encore CS6, you will need to download first CS6 (they come together in one package)

Here's how. CS6 first lies in the previous Version.

  • Help coding H264 Blu - ray!

I read on the forums and made a few posts on other sites but can't seem to find a clear answer.  I'm trying to author a blu - ray player in with a program of 25 min 1080i and 2 x 5 min 480i programs.  I initially tried encoding H264 of Sorenson Squeeze 7 using their blu - ray presets, because I had no SOUL installed, but no luck.  However, its blu - ray MPEG2 presets import into encore.  On the advice of someone, I went around my licenses and installed the SOUL and still on the PC Media Composer.  I imported the quicktimes (they come from Media Composer, released as same-as-source quicktimes because still had problems with the quicktime reference files), tweaked slightly transcoding presets and have not been able to get much to work since then.  It seems that the SD videos are encoding very well.  But the HD video is having problems.  Either it transcode but show up as black when played on a blu - ray player, or it gets an error during transcoding.  However, I was able to get it to playback but only when I converted a quicktime of the first minutes, rather than the full 25 minute program.  Another forum ad spoke of an error of 2-pass VBR and other things, but it doesn't seem to be the problem, I did a test using the torque of the same minute to extract quicktime with different and all parameters read (2-pass vbr 4.1 level 2-pass vbr 4.0, level 1-pass vbr 4.1, level 1-pass vbr 4.0 etc.).  Yet also struggled to determine what has need of transcoding and what does not.  For example, I have converted the two videos in SD by right-clicking transcode now so that SOUL opens, but after transcoding still said still they need of transcoding.  Cleaning of the Caches of media as suggested elsewhere doesn't seem to help.

I am at a loss what to do at this point. I bought the suite production recently so that I could have After Effects and more for blu - ray authoring.  But so far has been a huge disappointment and the loss of time and money.  It seems almost criminal that yet and SOUL do not play well together using their own presets.  Does anyone know how to get SOUL to encode properly, or if there are parameters to change in Sorenson Squeeze so he could work with again?

    Any help is very appreciated!

Take the QuickTime of MC files, put them in SOUL.  Transcode it.

Then put these elements transcoded into a new project yet.

  • Burn a DVD without compressor

    Dear community,

    I have a question 'burning '...

Of in FCP X v 10.2.2, I want to export my project on DVD.

I created chapters with chapter markers.

Is it necessary to also buy the Apple Compressor application?
Or can burn you a DVD directly from FCP x?

I remember that in the old days, he had to first compress

your media by sending them from within FCP to compressor.

Once the media has been compressed and converted to the right format,

you had to import in DVD Studio Pro (which no longer exists, right?),

    and create your DVD there.

From there, you could burn to disc directly, or create a master who
You can store and this master burn your discs later.

    What is the situation today?

Thanks for sharing your experience in this area.

    Michael.

PS: The operating system I use is El Capitan 10.11.2.

No, you need not compressor. You can burn a single disc of the PCF.

In fact in the old days you can compress and build entirely in DVDSP without compressor.
