Type of questions in Photoshop CC 2015

When I create a new template in Photoshop CC 2015, my layers panel says I type but no text no appears in the document, nor can I change the text.

Odd. He must select all of your text in the workspace. Looks like he's trying to transform the layer. (The gift is the bounding box with handles).

    only way to access the recorded files or look at the file structure is usually to run photoshop or Word or another application, then using apps that open an option in the file menu.

    MY previous photoshop cc 2014 is now gone as has been replaced by the new version and I'm about to reinstall the plugins that is no problem, but the question of research is worrying.

    I now solve the problem by reinstalling OSX Yosemite 'after' update to 2015 CC PS. That fixed the problem but it's something that I really shouldn't have had to do.

  • Animation in Photoshop CC 2015 question

    Hi all

    Hoping a pro can help me with this problem.  Currently enrolled in a course of certification animation accelerated online and need help to know how I can get Photoshop to enliven my digitized characters and backgrounds.

    Of course, the background is digitized and put first; It is a scene of hand-painted watercolor.  I then added my animated through the analysis and using Place related character cells.  But when I create video Timeline, the character scanned, if set to 100% opacity allows no bottom project through, but only shows the character on a white background.  If I change the opacity on each cell of animation from character (layer) to about 59% of 35%, background through projects, but the characters and background look washed out.

    Asked my teacher on this subject, but she said the characters hand-drawn must be traced in Photoshop as a line drawing.  Is this true?  If so, how should I do this?

    I don't want to have to re - draw / paint for each cell, and I don't want the washed look of the opacity to balance; don't know what I can do to keep the opportunism, but both results; desired all suggestions, advice, tips and tricks has greeted with complete satisfaction!

    I think you want to create an animation timeline image not a chronology of the video. You want the visible background layer in all the frames and your layers of character must have their removed background.  This means that each layer place character must be hidden to remove the white background.  If they are good scans with own contiguous white backgrounds that can be relatively easy by selecting the background adjacent white invert the selection and add the selection as a mask layer...  You may need to enlarge the selection reversed a pixel or two before you add it as a layer mask...

    I just found a way to solve the problem:

    Go to: Preferences > General > Reset preferences on Quit

    Then, quit Photoshop and re-open.

  • Illustrator or Photoshop CC 2015 better to draw designs of the hand?

    I draw the old-fashioned... way pencil/pen and paper, then search in Photoshop usually digital top own and coloring. I wonder if Illustrator CC 2015? or Photoshop CC 2015 is preferable to trace the digital work. It should be clean for the publication. Also, what tool would you use in Illustrator, I have to learn the software from scratch. All I did was in Photoshop, and I used the Brush tool.

    I also just bought a Wacom Intuos tablet, which I have to learn a scratch(whew!), advice or tutorials, you can tell me would be most appreciated.

    There is no absolute answer to your questions. Illustrator and Photoshop are perfect for different types of work. It depends on if you need vector or if the bitmap is fine.

    According to your original work in pencil, you can even find "auto-tracing" would be a good choice. You've already invested in a Wacom tablet. It is very good and it will be very useful. The new iPad Pro, with pressure-sensitive pen, can also be a great option to convert your artwork. I know he has tablets is focused on the window, sensitive to the pressure as well.

    Basic of Illustrator tool is the pen tool. All other vector tools are based on it, so learn it is a must. For plotting "Freehand", the pencil tool may be next on the list. It is intuitive and works fine with the Wacom. Learn how to change the existing, on-the-fly, strokes with the pencil tool as well as the 'Option' of the change key.   • Photoshop CC 2015.0.1 engine text will not initialize.

    The text engine is won't boot.  I had read a previous post on a similar question, so I followed the solution here.

    I have download the wire make test Zip, place the file in the folder presets in Photoshop and began the trial of fonts.

    I get the message: failed to get the path to the cache of police files. And he said: I need to delete the following file:

  • Photoshop CC 2015 will not launch after upgrading Yosemite

    Photoshop CC 2015 does not open after that I upgraded to Yosemite 10.10.5 on my iMac.  Can I open Lightroom and Photoshop elements 13 CC, but not Photoshop, which results in the following error message:

    It seems that Both Photoshop and Creative have questions assessing the library on your MAC.

    Gives read and write Adobe file in / library and ~/Library in support of the request.

    You could refer to the answer in wire Re: install Creative Cloud Desktop, but I got error 13 a question permission on my MacBookPro, why?

    Run repair disk Permission utility disk

    Otherwise use Photoshop tool Adobe CCleaner to remove creative cloud, and reinstall.

  • Photoshop CC 2015 freezing of certain Actions

    Question:

    • Randomly, when renaming layers in Photoshop CC 2015, my computer will stall and have to think for a second or two
    • If I start typing before waiting, the characters appear a second or two more later all of a sudden, as if I typed the super fast
    • I have no other programs running that could be the cause
    • It didn't happen in 2014 CC

    Specifications of the computer:

    • MacBook Pro 15 "end 2013 retina
    • Intel Core i7 2.6GHz
    • 16GB 1600 MHz DDR3
    • NVIDIA GeForce GT 75M 2048MB
    • Yosemite 10.10.3

    UPDATE:

    • I noticed this now randomly happens when I do one of the following; I am suspicious it is worse I open Photoshop. A kind of memory problem? :
      • Move the layers in the layers panel
      • Try cmd and auto-sélectionnez a layer group that I don't currently have open in the layers panel
      • By pressing the shortcut key 'Tool of Type' will sometimes cause the program trolling for 5 seconds
      • Duplication of layers
      • Move groups of layers at the same time

    ChristopherButler Thank you for your answer, but I have too many hard to believe, you cannot reproduce this problem given that literally everyone in my studio and studio of my friend in another place, had to return to CC2014.

    I would like to spend time trying to figure what you suggested, but the reality is that the PSD even that work 100% well in CC2014, run absolutely anemic of the CC2015. I have to spend more of my time trying to figure why... the problem is on your end, and until what you release it all stable updates... I don't have bad things to say about the software company, that I used to be an evangelist.

    Again, the only solution is to return to CC2014.

    My computer

    Present the issue and steps taken to reproduce it:

    • I opened a design of 225 MB, 2880 x 5265 72 dpi I created in Adobe CC2015.
    • I don't have any other applications running
    • I have tried to "duplicate layer" and waited about 9.5 seconds for it to accomplish the task

  • Photoshop CC 2015.5 has stopped working error

    When I try from PS I get the message "Adobe Photoshop CC 2015.5 has stopped working" no other information or number error message is presented.adobe error.JPG

    Yesterday, I upgraded to Windows Pro 10 for updates later, all the CC app to the latest version and update of Norton anti-virus and PS has worked all day.

    Today (24/09/16) I had to update Norton AntiVirus with an update that requires a restart.  I don't know if it's related to Norton (I don't) and I now GET the message that it has stopped working.

    I took the measures following, based on suggestions from the forum

    -re-installed PS

    -disabled graphics card

    -run cccleaner.exe

    s ' install sniffer.exe desktop

    -rebooted PC many times.

    -ran creative cloud as an administrator

    -Rename the file librarylookup

    -tried to start in safe mode with network

    -connected with the new user account

    Any of these would start the PS eventually.  Any suggestions?

    Have you tried disabling Norton?

    Go to the Windows search bar and type "Reliability monitor" and choose "view reliability history" (control of configuration\systeme and Security\Security and Maintenance\Reliability monitor). Find the most recent crash of Photoshop, then choose "show technical details." Copy and paste the report here in its entirety.

    I tried to download Photoshop CC 2015.5 several times, but it keeps giving me this error code.
