U2414H, display port problem

Hi guys, so I just bought U2414H for my rig to play with graphics card AMD Radeon MSI R9 390 8 GB memory GDDR5 512 bits with 1 DisplayPort, 1 x HDMI, 2 DVI - I. My problem is, when I connect miniDP to the monitor (which is only a miniDP) to (DisplayPort) my graphics card, AMD Radeon MSI R9 390, but it only goes to the power save mode. I can't access same monitor configuration. I already change the input source to the port of mini-affichage on the screen. but it still saying no mini display port.

So, help me please.

Hi Chris thanks for the reply, apparently my problem is solved, the main problem is that I plug the 2 x 6-pin power for graphics card, haha. Only, I have attached the graphics card to the motherboard.

  • U2414H, Display Port issues

I have 2 of these monitors. I initially tried daisy chain on my Radeon card which is supposed to support 8 of these monitors on DP.

It must have taken me 2 hours to get their work, I had to connect each one in the port of DP on the ATI card. It was on Windows 7, it worked for about 8 months.

Sometimes, however, when the PC is out of standby or sleep, monitors went all mental, I figured out I had to pull the plug out (not only soft off) Hard off, then plug them both in and everything what it redtected very well. OK, I thought that my ATI card must be a bit on the older side and some problem there.

I have upgraded to Windows 10 and all kinds of other problems began to arrive. So, I just put a HDMI monitor and another on DP. No problem since

Now I have a new laptop Dell Latitude E7440. I made a Garland and in plugged into the laptop, wow. It worked. OK, used like that for several hours, were to return to something and the two white screens (black screen - no error message) return? huh?

Yet once, started messing around with the monitors, ahh. Okay, hard power cycle. The arrow all back to normal.

What is the problem with that? Its certainly not the GFX card or drivers, since a PC was the ATI drivers, and this new Dell drivers Intel of origin. SAME PROBLEM!

I have read this guy bought 6 monitors and simply gave up and released.

I want to buy another monitor, but I don't want these bloody issues? What can I do to fix this? I am a developer mobile and going to be pluggin in the office, click client, and then back to the office. I won't be bothering with these monitors. All the patches?

There is not an update of the firmware 'at home '. You must send an Exchange monitor. Understand, the only way to get a monitor with firmware flashed A03 is via a used Exchange. Read this.

  • Dell U2414H and Display port to DVI cable

    Hello.

Have a U2414H monitor I need to connect to a Dell T1700 purchased with a videocard of Nvidia K2000 added. I need to use the connector of the video card. 2 display ports will be for an another U2414H monitor and a HDMI TV for meetings. I have a Display port to DVI cable and I try to use it from the Dell U2414H monitor and am out of luck. I can't seen to find info if DP supports the U2414H monitors to DVI cables. Has anyone else got it to work? I tried the DVI port on the PC with HP monitors and they worked. Any ideas are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Output DVI on VC > DP cable DVI > entry DP on monitor

The U2414H has the following ports =.

The K2000 has the following ports =.

A video card DVI port cannot convert to the DP/CDM monitor via a single cable. What you bought was designed at the downconvert a video card DP/CDM to a DVI monitor. You can buy a DVI to HDMI:

  • Mini Display Port has completely stopped working

So I bought a Mini Display Port to HDMI adapter and it has worked perfectly well for more than a month. That's until 3 days ago. Out of nowhere I plugged my HDMI into the adapter and the power led of the monitor turned on and after a few seconds of reading, "No Signal". I have to hold the power cord in the more odd angles to get even for the screens of mirror, and even in this case, the screen is static at 80%. I looked online and tried every single tip or solution I've seen without success. All my HDMI cords are fully functional as I tried each one with my PS4 and works perfectly, so this isn't the issue. I've never had problems like this with any other Apple computer. Probably because no other computer using mini display ONLY ports. If anyone has had this problem and found a solution please let me know, if I can try to get this working. I have a MacBook Pro 15 in. mid-2012 with the processor i7 under OS X 10.8.5

This suggests a possible problem with the cord.  I would like to make an appointment with an Apple store genius bar and I tested the unit and the power cord.

    Ciao.

  • Aspire E15 E5 - 573 G-51U8 embedded display port

    Hi all

I don't have a problem with this wonderful machine, but to ask a question:
Because I've learned to use Adobe products, I can't find the color range of this unit quite satisfactory TN HD Panel, so I decided to upgrade to an IPS FHD.

My question is: is Aspire E15 E5-573 G-51U8 uses 1 lane or 2-way eDP (embedded display port) to connect the motherboard with billboard? (bearing in mind that it is a connector 30 pins, right?)

I need this information because it displays 1, lane supports up to 900 p (in my case it's a 768 p display), while track 2 is minimal for the 1080 p screen which I purchase plan (to THE Optronics B156HAN01.2 - specifications). Basically a display panel 1, lane can and will be when he joined with cable 2-way, but the display panel 2-way will not work if connected by cable 1, lane.

    Hello

Wow! Many research... but I found .

If your laptop is equipped with this motherboard: Intel I5-5200 and nVidia GeForce 920M - 2 GB.

I found many models with this one in HD and FHD.

    1. The cable of the eDP is the same for both models:

  • P2415Q - no display on DVI, HDMI. No menu. Worked perfectly for a month on the display port

Line of reason: Dell P2415Q. After a month, works perfectly on the display port, no display on screen Display Port or HDMI, no response to the menu buttons, backlight and power ON but no picture on the screen.

    Description of the problem

The monitor worked out of the box for a month using the mini display port display port cable supplied with the monitor, which was plugged into my XFX 7970 and 7950 graphics cards. It supports 4K at 60 Hz and has been exceptional for photos, videos and games. Wednesday, the monitor no longer works, no picture or menu is displayed on the monitor. I plugged my old monitor to help diagnose via DVI graphics card even. When I press the power button on the Dell P2415Q monitor, the power LED lights up and the computer detects the monitor (as shown in the menu of the windows screen resolution). He defines as a secondary display but the screen remains black, I see the light power and backlight is turned on. No power save mode popup doesn't appear on the monitor, when I press the buttons of the menu there is no response from the screen, it stays black. I repeated with an HDMI cable, the same problem occurs without intervention or image. I repeated and disabled crossfire (which allows graphics cards to run independently) and tried the second graphics card without response. I tried the HDMI cable I used on my old LG monitor, it works well. I tried to connect a laptop on HDMI to the monitor too, no response from the monitor. I've exhausted all the tests I can think, I guess I'll have to return to the screen for repair or replacement under warranty. A question to the community - and dell rep is there anything else I can try / to make this work?

    * Turn off the monitor
    * Disconnect all cables from the screen, including the power cable
    * Press the power monitor in pendant button 15 seconds
    * Reconnect monitor cables, then repeat the test. If still no go, your only option is to get exchanged by buying warranty

    Hey there Mac5321,

You can connect any monitor to this port? The port on the GPU works at all? Have you tried another port VGA, HDMI or other available to connect to any monitor at all? The computer worked before?

I try to reset the BIOS to its default settings and retry the system if it will bring an image to any monitor. The fault may be in the GPU or motherboard not providing the connection appropriate for video output. Is the computer works properly, the fans spinning, initial POST beep, etc.?

  • Display Port works out of box?

Out of the box display port doesn't seem to work for the configuration of the bios. The VGA port works well, is this normal and if so how do you get the display port to work on the configuration of the bios?

I got to work. The problem was 2 defective nine display adapter DVI cable port. Try so do not buy Chinese!

  • U2412m continues to go to power saving on the Display Port!

According to the title, the monitor works fine on DVI - D, however, when you use the Display Port, it will never get photo.

I unplugged all the cables and only connected 1 monitor to my computer. When I plug the Display Port, the monitor recognizes the cable, and he goes to sleep. However, he never wakes up and there are always connected via the Port display power saving mode.

I have connected my second monitor, and Windows by virtue of the resolution of the screen, I can see the two monitors that on DVI and the other on the display port., but the display port we'll never come back to life.

My problem is similar to this: http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/peripherals/f/3529/t/19534915.aspx

    And this: http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/peripherals/f/3529/p/19444864/20290936.aspx

People who could not find a solution to this. What is the problem with this monitor and display port?

The screen does not appear even the POST screen or windows loading

    Hello.

I bought another DP cable to replace the one I bought on ebay. Well, this one works very well, so it was the cable. Summer reading on the 20 pin and how that creates a problem.

  • Photoshop CS4 video card? -Need Display Port

You people have been wonderful to help me with this project. For those who have not seen from my previous posts, I build a computer for a friend who uses Photoshop CS4 exclusively for photo 2D work. It's everything that he uses his computer, so no other questions.

After a lot of research and help from you, I found the "perfect" video card The only problem is, it is not a display Port.

PROBLEM: None of the NVidia cards "tested" on the list of Adobe CS4 you guys referred to have Ports to display!

Now what? With the reputation of CS4 to be picky, we risk buying a card not on the list?

The list was just updated in mid-January... and had not been a while. It may be a long time before it is updated again.

As always, thanks in advance for any piece of advice or information you can offer me.

    Chuck

The partnership only I read on concern that the high-end to price cards workstation Nvidia and Photoshop CS4. But this partnership goes only as far as seen problems such as the 195 series pilot and the bridge.

As a system integrator, you know the drivers are a gamble at best. There are countless messages from Nvidia owners have to swap drivers to get CS4 work best with their system.

  • X 1 carbon 20BS do not recognize the Mini Display Port

Hello - I have recently acquired a Thinkpad X 1 carbon 20BS with a new installation of window 10. While I am able to connect to external monitors via HDMI, I was unable to do that via the Mini Display Port. Connection of a monitor to the Mini Display Port didn't do nothing - the monitor is not identified by Windows.

So far, I have installed the drivers of:, but it did not help. Any help to find ways get the carbon X 1 to recognize the Mini Display Port will be really appreciated.

    Thank you in advance.

Jake - Thanks a lot for the reply. Happy to report that I was able to get the mini DP to work and he recognizes the compatible monitors very well.

I tried to find a solution to link the Thunderbolt display carbon, but unfortuantely it seems not to be a Thunderbolt controller that is compatible with the mini DP carbon.
