U410 - Wireless worsening performance - requires a reboot for operation

Hi all

I recently bought a U410 and I, like many others, am having problems with wireless connectivity. When I got to the laptop, I rarely had no problem with her. However, it slowly deteriorates and the possibility to connect to different networks is getting worse. More I cannot connect or have frequent dropouts.

The real question, however, is that to be able to connect to a network once again, that I need to do a full reboot. Disabling the network card is not enough, or running the Windows 8 troubleshooting tools. It is incredibly frustrating to have to completely restart to get back online and lose my place in the browsers/documents/etc. Does anyone else know similar problems?

I tried to contact Lenovo about a refund for my U410, but apparently the window of eligibility has spent two weeks and they refuse to make an exception. Needless to say that after years and years of Lenovo computers this will probably be my last, because performance is so much cheaper as I expect them...

    I use XP Professional with service pack 3. I get this error message every other time I try to log in to a protected wireless network security. I used to not get this message; but, now, it may be impossible, sometimes to call all wireless providers when I might only need for a short period or after hours service opening.

    In addition, it is my computer that requires the network password to be different, not the provider of wireless. A password is given to me who works for other users, but my computer won't let me use it.

    I am running vRO in a non-production environment / small.  When the embedded database vRO responds is more performance requirements?  How many simultaneous streams can take or what are the other performance indicators that will tell me that I have to go with an external database?

    The size of the environment can affect memory vCO before touching the DB footprint. Which can affect the DB, is that if a large environment, you have a lot of workflows running and do things such as loops example change a table that contains a large number of virtual machines. This will force the vCO to save the attribute in the DB.  I would say that in terms of inventory for vCenter 3 digits is small to medium, medium 4-digit large, but large to very large 5 digit once more the best way is to measure the number of IOs in the DB (Hyperic has some agents nice to do) and so when the increase of early vCO activity slow down.

    Regarding the issues I've seen regarding DB performance there is a known problem affecting MS SQL that is doing a lot slower than Oracle or postgreSQL and I saw a lot of IOs to a customer who wanted to push up the number of simultaneous workflow by default 300. The test was to be between 300 to workflows running concurrent until 1200 making short wait for time in a loop instead of using System.sleep. In the first case memory / CPU was going well since waiting for timer passivate the java thread of workflow to the DB but significantly increase the number of IOs to the DB and in the second case the DB has been little used but Java memory and CPU usage was much higher (with memory being the leading cause of reduced performance causing Java garbage collect memory regularly).

    vCO is used by much of VMware customers company with very large deployments. In addition to MS SQL problems, I've seen very few cases where the default settings had to be changed. Performance problems I saw were due to inefficient scripting and more often create too much stress on the orchestrated systems, not vCO.

    One of the reasons why I recommend you to run vCO on a computer separate vCenter virtual is because usually both need resources at the same time.

    Another recommendation is to separate the content (DB) in engines (VCOs in a cluster servers). This helps all operational aspects such as backup / restore, monitoring, logging, upgrade.

    I think that what affects the performance of the vCO is the HD IOs. This is certainly the case if your workflows contains many boxes / Server.log batches (access DB) and a lot of logs (logs IOs).

    I did some tests, increasing the number of processors, but found that it does not any change since most of the time that the workflow is waiting for an external call ends.

    So essentially the use of the vCO differs a lot based on the environment and especially how the workflow is written. The default settings should match most of the use cases. If degradation of the performance of compliance monitoring is the best option to find out how to optimize the installation program.

    I have the first 12 on Windows 8.1 items 64 bits with less resources of the computer that you and am not have freezing problems or collisions using the program. The computer environment does not all SSD.

    What I ran into (Windows 7, 64-bit 8 or 8.1) has been extremely slow opening time of file Menu/New/Project and extremely slow time of closing for the project (registered or unregistered). 8.1 issues 64-bit are now essentially disappeared after massive but systematic troubleshooting. At no time were there any problems other than those two I mentioned.

    But, your problem...

    a. you have the latest version of QuickTime on your computer with Premiere elements 12?

    (b) you run the program run as administrator or an account with administrative privileges?

    c. What are the details of these blockages? They just open a new project? They come after you open an existing project? What is the size of the project freezing when frost occurs? What do you do in the timeline when the freeze happens?

    d. is your video card driver update according to the manufacturer of the video card?

    e. What is your Scratch disk location as to where they're headed and how much free space is where? See Edit Menu/preferences/Scratch disks. Search for ups of the bunch of files preview and compliant audio and video files.

    I am a complete newbie at this forum and came looking for help. I recently bought an Equium A200 laptop computer with Vista preinstalled.

    Lately when I start the computer and log in to Windows, I get a message that windows requires a driver for an unknown device and ask for permission to connect to the internet to find the driver concerned. When I click on this option, I get a message saying that the computer has found the driver but has encountered an error trying to install "Microsoft ISA TAP adapter".

    What is it and why should we need for installation? I thought it was quite strange. Any ideas people?

    Ok. Let's start with: how many characters you use the password?

    I don't remember the minimum number of characters in the password, it might be six, but why not try using a password with 6, I know full well that work of 8 characters.

    The second certificate is the 'user' Cert that is unique for each client-server and aaa.
