U430 "Please wait" screen blocking the use AFTER connection

I bought a U430 ideapad 3 days ago. Configure the laptop without problem. At ran Windows Update and updates 8.1 with 40 + updates. Everything was fine - until I turned off and restarted later.
The Lenovo loading screen was followed by windows user login. Password entered for the user and the normal desktop appeared. Immediately a green window appeared almost fill the screen with "Please wait" in the Center and 'Cancel' at the bottom on the right.
Cancel does nothing and the screen please wait will never - locking effectively the machine.
The screen can not be resized, or closed, and the office is visible at the top and bottom, but cannot be selected.
Pressing Ctrl-Alt-del and selecting the Manager tasks is not identify which charged for causing the problem and try to move applications shows the Office Manager and the task but cannot be selected, like the screen green fair overlays everything.
I read messages online and has done a factory reset, turned off the facial recognition software and repeated the update of Windows. Everything seemed fine, but the next Green - please wait - screen returned.
The only way I found to regain access is to run the battery down to<10%. getting="" a="" low="" battery="" warning="" at="" start="" up="" appears="" to="" stop="" the="" green="" -="" please="" wait="" -="" screen="" loading="" and="" allows="" normal="" access="" to="" the="" windows="">
The laptop runs normally until it is turned off and then restarted and returns the screen please wait.
Any help/suggestions appreciated.

I was very close to retune the laptop today, but found this solution online...
http://answers.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Forum/windows8_1-performance/Windows-81-hangs-on-please-w...

It seems that the culprit is restoreoptin.exe

I let the battery down for<10% to="" gain="" access.="" then="" set="" up="" another="" admin="" user="">
I could then follow instructions on the link above.

Is there are always problems with VPN then I would maybe change VPN pool to anything other than something that comes into conflict with the LAN.

In this case, these configurations should do the trick

In order from top to bottom, they would do the following things

    • First remove the pool VPN and VPN configurations
    • Then remove the VPN pool
    • Remake of the VPN Pool with different network
    • Reattach the VPN pool for VPN configurations
    • Configure NAT0 to the new cluster of VPN
    • Remove the old line of the ACL of the configuration of NAT0

  • YouTube seems to be blocking the use of Firefox (MaskingAgent?) on 2015 / 01 / 08

    • YouTube seems to be blocking the use of Firefox on 2015-01-08, let me (ATTACH) a screenshot.
    • I see that the default search engine (alias "recipes) for Firefox Google/YouTube, Yahoo has recently changed.

This is due to the extension of the masking Agent, sending deliberately incorrect sites on the browser you use. I don't know if the extension allows you to make an exception for youtube.com and ytimg.com in order to work around the problem. If this isn't the case, you may need to disable the extension.

You can manage on the page extension modules. Either:

    • CTRL + SHIFT + a
    • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons

In the left column, click Extensions. Then find Agent masking and check for that option button. This is also where you would turn it off.

(Often a link appears above an extension disabled to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click on the last step.)

As far as I know, your default search engine is invisible to Web sites, so this probably isn't a problem. Or do you want to make a change here? This article has the steps: use the Firefox search bar.

  • Please wait screen

A computer of mine stays on the screen "Please wait" after a reboot. But even the save mode does not start. This means that I can't watch in the eventvwr or changing the msconfig. I started the computer with F8 for a restoration of the system, and even when I use a restore point of serveral day back it still hangs on the waiting screen please.

    W_Q

Well, if you can't really get anywhere you have to do a clean install. But in SafeMode if you access the system restore you may not be in the boot. In the safe, you should try the "FUCTION KEY THEN + R WINDOWS" it should ask you 'RUN' maybe you can try to run the system restore, or try to create a new profile.

  • Windows 8 black screen and the cursor after the connection

Hello. I tried to upgrade to 8.1 Windows 8 Windows and it is stuck on like 3% for one hour, so I just rebooted the computer and he returned to Windows 8. I'm going to sleep and come back the next day and go on my laptop and it auto connects me and it goes to a black screen and I only have the slider on the black screen after login. I don't see the start menu, but I receive notifications for as sticky keys or any other notifications lights. I turned off my computer at least 20 times, took out the battery, empty the battery and tried to boot in safe mode with no luck. It is unlikely that it is an internal problem, because if I leave my computer alone for a few minutes, my screen saver photos appear. If anyone can help me solve this problem or help me get in easier safe mode would make things less stressful. I have an Acer Aspire V5 - 571 series. Thank you.

    Hi Roy,

This problem may occur because of corrupted on the computer boot files.

I suggest you to perform the checking and automatic repair if this solves the problem.

If you do not have a DVD of Windows 8, I suggest you check out the link to see how to create an installation of Windows 8 media:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-in/Windows-8/create-reset-refresh-media

    Follow the methods suggested below:

    Method 1:

Start on the recovery environment using the installation of Windows 8 media.

    Follow the steps below:

Note: before proceeding further, make sure that the boot priority is set on DVD drive in BIOS. BIOS change / semiconductor (CMOS) to complementary metal oxide settings can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the configuration of the BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Changes to settings are at your own risk.

    • Insert the DVD to install Windows 8 on DVD-ROM and restart your computer.
    • After you start your computer by using the Windows DVD or the system repair disc, a black screen is displayed with the gray text "Press any key to boot from CD or DVD". Press a button on any.
    • Select the type of keyboard and good time.
    • Click repair your computer in the lower left corner.
    • Select Troubleshooting in choose an option screen.
    • In Troubleshooting screen, click Advanced options .
    • Click the automatic repair of the Advanced Options screen.
    • Then choose the operating system.
    • Windows 8 will then pick up questions on the hard drive and check that all required files are intact.

If the problem persists, proceed to the next method.

    Method 2:

Follow these steps to perform a system restore:

    • After you start your computer by using the Windows DVD or the system repair disc, a black screen is displayed with the gray text "Press any key to boot from CD or DVD". Press a button on any.
    • Select the type of keyboard and good time.
    • Click repair your computer in the lower left corner.
    • Select Troubleshooting in choose an option screen.
    • In troubleshooting screen, click Advanced options .

  • Satellite L20 error: DVD - RAM crashes with a blue screen with the use of cd-audio

    Hello world

I have a very annoying problem: when I use audio-cd, my Satellite tends to crash with a blue screen. When it crashes, blue screen, scrolls and immediately a black screen and a restart follows.

It is probably a driver problem, because I have three audioprograms installed (Windows Media player, Sonic Stage MiniDisc and I-tunes).

Can someone give me advice? Thanks in advance

    Klaas

    Hi Klaas,

It would be useful to know what the error message is when you get the blue screen. I suggest that you disable the restart automatic installation so that your laptop stops on the blue screen and you can read the error.

To disable the auto restart: -.

    1. right click on 'My computer' icon and then click on "Properties".
    2. click on the "Advanced" tab
    3. click on 'Settings' in the section starting and recovering (towards the bottom of the window).
    4 uncheck 'automatically restart '.

Please post again all the details of the blue screen error message.

  • 'Please wait until that the current program is finished uninstalling or change'

Im trying to uninstall a program and when I click on uninstall it says: "Please wait unti the current program is finshed uninsatlling or that" it says always that what I'm doing.

    Hello

This question has been answered here:

    I think you should try:

#1 restart your system and try again.

#2 check that the software is not running in the background.

#3 try a 3rd party uninstaller but be careful because you don't have much control over how a 3rd party uninstaller effectively uninstalls - sometimes they leave "debris" that can affect future use.

    Kind regards
