  • UCS kvm - connection failed

    Hello

    I encountered problem with kvm.

When I try to run the kvm console, I get "connection failed", but I managed to connect only once in 10 times.

I have "Management Pool of IP" and I can see the ip address assigned to my blade server.

Is that someone has the same problem?

    Thank you!

To fix this problem with CICM (KVM) access, make sure that the Pool(ext-mgmt) IP management is part of the same VLAN as the FIC IP subnet. CICM access is provided on the MGMT 0 and interface 1 on the FIC and not 10GB uplinks.

  • Activation failed for controller board B200 M4 7.0 with UCS Mini 3.0 firmware (2 c)

The blades of B200 M4 comes with firmware of the controller Office 7.0 and the UCS Mini comes with the latest code of 3.0 (2 c).  Once associated with a Service profile, the firmware controller board 7.0 activation fails.  The blade software 3.0 (2 c) comes with the 6.0 Board controller firmware.  I downloaded the firmware 2.2(5a) blade server package, so that the UCS to 'see' the firmware 7.0.  Then, I changed a bunch of firmware 3.0 (2 c) host to include firmware controller board for the M4 B200 but activation 7.0 still does not work after reboots.  Reacknowledging the blades does not change the result.  Any ideas?

    Michael,

You did the right thing by adding the 2.2.5a firmware.

    Were you running CLI activation?

    #scope Server X / Y (blade chassis X Y)
    # scope boardcontroller
    # Display image (this will list all versions of firmware)
    # enable force version.0 firmware (Select a version lower than that already running)
    buffer validation #.

If the foregoing is successful then reset MMIC

    Try--->

In the firmware of the political host do not check the controller board for the B200M4 leave the field blank. Then manually activate tab firmware installed in the server.

    Kind regards

    Saurabh

  • KVM console - connection failed

    Hello

I am trying to connect to the KVM Console but I get "connection failed".

I read the other posts in the forum with the same problem but I can't solve it.

    Can someone help me?

    Thank you.

Well, in my experience, this new version of Java have some security settings that are very strict and very different in relation to the old version of Java.

So I recommend that you completely uninstall this version of Java and try again with an older version - IE 1.7 or 1.6 on this machine.

If you have proper network connectivity to the MMIC - KVM console should work without problem.

  • UCS MINI connected to MDS9124

    Hello world:

could you please help me?  How to set the port to the MDS9124 mode?  When the UCS mini connected to MDS9124.

    Please download

The Infrastructure UCS software package contains: - the NX - OS software for the catalog of capacity UCS 6324 fabric interconnects - Firmware for the extensors of fabric and modules e/s - UCS Manager - Chassis Management Controller - UCSM.
    UCS-mini-k9-bundle-infra. 3.1.1: .to .bin

and then do an infrastructure "autoinstall".

Probably not good Firmware downloaded: search for ""mini " in the file name!"

UCS -mini- k9-bundle-infra. 3.1.1: .to .bin

    Good luck

    Walter.

  • Don't UCS Mini Support 2 chassis configuration?

Hello, I found in the data sheet that takes care of the UCS 6324 up to 15 servers, 8 in the chassis and the direcct 7 annexed UCS C series.

    http://www.Cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/servers-unified-computi...

the Cisco UCS 6324 fabric Interconnect incorporates connectivity in server chassis blade Cisco UCS 5108 to provide a smaller area of up to 15 servers (8 blade servers and up to 7 connection direct rack servers).

But I have some heads a Cisco presentation that the UCS Mini can support up to 2 chassis 5108 (which one with the FI 6324 and the other with 2208XP, 2204XP or 2104XP fabric Extenders FEX but I can't find the documents related.)

Could you please confirm this point? There is a documentation?

Thank you very much and best regards,

    Raquel

    I have

    Real! FCS + 3 months?

However, I have seen a lot of customers with the classical configuration of UCS and 2 chassis. Cisco offered and offers very attractive bundles, which makes such an entry of low size attractive.

  • UCS-Mini vNIC speed subframe

    Hello

We have a new UCS-Mini with a connected secondary frame, we have identical B200 M4s filled in each chassis, ESXi running.

At a level of vCenter that all the vNIC reported for the blades in the main frame are displayed as the 10000Mbps, while all blades in the secondary frame say 20000Mbps by VNIC but as far as we can tell are all the same material and should all be at top speed.

All blades are supplied via the same policies of UCS etc. so we do not know why the main chassis is not full speed, we expect.

Happy FI etc. etc. details as needed.

    See you soon.

Jim. You have answered your query. NIC speed reflected on the operating system depends on the number of substantive connections in basket to the blade of the IOM.

    .

In FI 6324 with VIC 1340 - each FI/IOM 1x10G a trace by blade by fabric

In 2208 with VIC 1340 IOM - IOM each 2x10G a trace by blade by fabric

This is why the operating system sees 20G speed on blades of connection to the IOM 2208, which has basically more of basket of ports background blade.

    Michel

Is "host1.exampl.com" the real hostname of your machine "host1"?  Or you made that blur in your ad - thing quite legitimate to do this for security reasons.

Whatever, this is not really a matter of tns, unless of course 'host1.example.com' is really what you put in the tnsnames file, but your server "host1" became really something else.

Assuming that 'host1.example.com' is the correct value, debugging starts with the following:

    [oracle@host2 admin] $ ping host1.example.com

    [oracle@host2 admin] $ tracerout host1.example.com

OK, so you have a software firewall (IPTables) running.  By default, it will not be configured to accept connections on port 1521.  You have two options...

    (1) disable the firewall completely.  Run these commands to do this...

    stop /etc/init.d/iptables

    chkconfig iptables off

The first command stops the service.  The second command prevents revived at every restart of the OS.

    (2) add an exception to the firewall for port 1521.  I'm not a Linux expert, but it should be something like this...

Change the configuration of IPTables with vi...

    VI/etc/sysconfig/iptables

Add a new rule as follows...

-A of ENTRY m state - state NEW-m tcp tcp - dport 1521-j ACCEPT Pei

Save and close, and then restart the IPTables service...

    /etc/init.d/iptables restart

NOTE: you must always change the name of this server to something other than "localhost".

[EN] When I opened sites like facebook.com and youtube.com , I get the message "secure connection failed". How to solve this problem? Other sites like google.com, 9gag.com , and instagram.com (basically every other site I tried) are doing well!

What antivirus security software do you have?

There are security software such as Avast and Kaspersky that intercepts secure connections and sends its own certificate.

If you cannot inspect the certificate by "I understand the risks", then try this:

Open the "Add Security Exception" this URL chrome by pasting into the address bar of Firefox and check the certificate:

    • chrome://pippki/content/exceptionDialog.XUL

In the field of location of this window, type or paste the URL of the Web site.

    • retrieve the certificate via the button 'Get certificate '.
    • Click on the "view..." button. "to inspect the certificate in the certificate display

You can check details such as the issuer and the certificate chain in the Details tab of the certificate display.
Check which is the issuer of the certificate.
If necessary, you can attach a screenshot that shows the display of the certificate.

  • "Secure connection failed" that occur on the growth of number of sites, v40.0.2

I'm on a Mac network and many of us become "secure connection failed: the page you are you are trying to view are not visible because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified." This number of sites displaying this error increases. It was just Wikipedia.org at the beginning, but now I can't access Mozilla.org! I have tried virtually all solutions that have worked for others, without success, including:

-Uninstall of Firefox and install the 40.0.2 version

    -setting 'security.tls.version.fallback - limit' 0 or 1

    -setting in "security.tls.version.max" to 0 or 1

    -disable the 'security.ssl3.dhe_rsa_aes_128_sha' and 'security.ssl3.dhe_rsa_aes_256_sha '.

    -Uninstall and creating a profile

-Check without plugins or add-ons are causing the problem

    -Refreshing Firefox

And probably others I don't remember. I wish I could put more details browser, but can't because I can't get on Mozilla with Firefox. Please help and thank you very much!

Which site gives you inappropriate alert rescue - the main www (https://www.mozilla.org/) or this support site? Or is this only a problem when you use a partial domain that redirects, such as https://mozilla.org/?

Both this site and the www site use TLS 1.2, so Firefox does not need to return to TLS 1.0 in both cases. In addition, Firefox should have no problems connecting to Wikipedia.

It seems that you do not have a direct connection, there is a proxy server or something else between you and the site or malware.

If it's common throughout your network, it might be a common agent or something wrong with the router/firewall.

  • Secure connection failed for Nginx + Comodo PossitiveSSL while SSLlabs Score is A +.

I own the Web site https://vzinity.com that runs on Nginx and uses a Comodo PossitiveSSL cert.

I tested the installation of SSL to https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=vzinity.com and it gets a grade of A +.

I tried opening the site with many browsers, but I don't see this problem in Firefox. When I visit the website using Firefox 39 (Windows 7, Windows 8.1, 10 Windows and Linux Mint) I get the following error:

    The secure connection failed

The connection to vzinity.com while the page is loading.

The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.

    Any help will be appreciated.

    Thank you.

That looks like a problem with bad sniffing user agent.

It works for me if I change date 20100101 in Gecko/20100101 in on user agent (same Gecko/20100102 works, only Gecko/20100101 does not work).

    • Mozilla/5.0 (X 11; Linux i686; RV:39.0) Gecko/Firefox/39.0 39.0

The server could be hacked to target only a Firefox user agent.
You can contact the Web site and ask them to look into this.

I would appreciate help, google and youtube are rather important

Sorry for the delay, long day away.

With this many cross-browser issues, can you confirm that your system clock date, time, and time zone are all correct? SSL validity checks are time sensitive.

If you see a globe, I think that you are unable to use an HTTPS address. Usually Firefox displays a padlock or a "!" icon in the shape of triangle on a HTTPS address depending on whether the certificate withdraws or has a problem.

Is there a code in parentheses, separated by underscores in the error page? If so, could you copy and paste this code.
