Unable to connect to the internet on my Windows 7

I installed windows 7 on my laptop after you remove the original version because of the excessive pop ups that were extremely troublesome and the culprit could not be uninstalled.  My laptop can not find my WiFi that works very well on my other computers.  On the laptop is States that no connection is available, even with Ethernet connection

Jim

Thank you for this awesome feedback and I'm glad that I helped you. In my last post, I posted a few dell drivers and sites Web of Realtek. HP, valleys and others get these hardware devices from the same manufacturer of material for any reason if HP cannot give you drivers you can always go for the hardware manufacturer and download the drivers.

Please rate my answer as answer or if it was useful so that other people in thread knows this query is now resolved and answered.

see you soon

  • Unable to connect to the Internet - DNS error - Windows 7

    Hello

I have a new (3 months) desktop XPS from Dell with Windows 7 (64-bit), the Motorola SBG6580 Wireless Modem/Gateway and Comcast is my ISP.

My computer is connected to a modem with an Ethernet cable. Nothing unusual in the installation program. I just plugged my PC and it worked.

In the last three months everything worked well. Then all of a sudden, from Friday last I can no longer access the internet.

The connection at the bottom right shows that I'm connected, and every few minutes a yellow exclamation icon above him. Some sites Web opens very, very slowly, some are open to all and another just give a straight error that I'm not connected. It's weird - I can connect to the first seconds when I restart the computer and the speed is extremely fast, and then all of a sudden I can't connect.

When I right click on the connection icon for helps out sometimes it says "The DNS does not" and sometimes he can't detect any problem (but I can still access all Web sites).

Now, I also connected with Ethernet cables to the modem game both consoles and they work very well - I can get online, play games, stream movies etc. My wife and I can also connect our iPhones over Wi - Fi, and I can also connect my laptop running Vista by Wi - Fi.

The problem is just the Windows 7 PC.

I already googled the problem and tried all the solutions offered - I rinsed and renewed the DNS using the commands ipconfig, I put the DNS manually but nothing seems to work!

Could this be a virus any? I have McAfee running and I did a scan, but it does not detect. My feeling is that there is a virus which changes the DNS.

Any suggestion on how I can confirm to you, or what other measures can I take?

    Thank you!

    Hello

Perform the steps mentioned below and check if the problem persists.

e: choose DNS servers obtain address automatically, then press Ok.
f: choose address automatically get IP.
g: repeat the steps for Internet Protocol version 4 as well.

    Hope that helps.
  • Unable to connect to the internet update version

I've updated to the latest version 35, but since then, the browser seems unable to connect to the internet. I thought it was my firewall that was blocking the program. I did what was suggested to work around this problem, that is, to remove my firewall and then add it again. But it does not solve the problem. There is nothing wrong with my internet, how am I be able to connect to internet by using IE or Chrome. And I was able to connect to the internet in the previous version of Firefox. Unfortunately, the new updated version is not allow me to. Have no solution?

It is possible that your security (firewall, antivirus) software blocks or limit Firefox or the process of plugin-container without you inform, possibly after the detection of changes (update) for the Firefox program.

Delete all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container in the permissions list in the firewall and leave your firewall again ask permission to get full unlimited access to the internet for Firefox and the plugin-container and the update process.

I have a problem - unable to connect to the Internet.

First of all, I try to use internet DSL from phone, there was no result.

Then I try to use digital TV internet - no result.

Laptop does not detect a network, it says - undefined network.

My firewall is active, now I use a modem to laptop...

Sorry, but I don't understand how you have configured your DSL router/modem.

First of all, you need to configure the router and need to insert all the data from your ISP (Internet service provider).
Usually the model or DSL with router assigns the IP address. Therefore, only connect your LAN cable to the LAN books and you should get a connection to the DSL router/modem.

I think that in most cases the whole process is described in the manual of the router

    Hi Diddy Dell,

    Follow these methods.

Method 1: Performs a search using the Microsoft safety scanner.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Note: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

When I try to download and install programs on my desktop, I get an error message indicating that Setup is unable to connect to the internet. How to fix this?

    Hi NardoBailey,

    1. did you of recent changes on the computer?

2 when was the last time it was working fine?

    3. What is the full error message that you receive?

    4. you receive the error message when you install any program on the computer?

It is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.

I suggest that you put the computer in a clean boot state and check if it helps.
