Unable to create a windows 7 64 bit repair disc

I have a Toshiba Satellite L745 S4210 with Windows 7 Home Premium. I am trying to create a system repair disc so I can undo a dual boot. However, when I followed the tutorial for the creation of the ERD, the program is not yet run for a second, then it crashes. I did research further and discovered far from the to do for Toshiba computers, but I can't do that either. Attached is image o the error messages I receive. Any help would be appreciated.

I could find another computer with windows 7 64 and which allows to create a repair disk.

Windows recovery disc 32-bit error code meaning version question

    Hello
I hope someone can help me. I am unable to boot into windows vista 32-bit, so I downloaded the vista recovery disk and get an oxo error code what it means (thanks in advance)?

You don't give any info on what was the original problem with the computer.

You have set the Bios Setup to boot from the CD/DVD drive?

At startup, it will say press F2 or delete key to go into Bios/Setup, or maybe F12 to go to the Start Menu.

And have you tried also to tap F8 at startup and choose Safe Mode from the list of Boot Options?

Use up arrow key to do this, press on enter.

Browse your Hard Drive manufacturer's website, download software from here and test your hard drive for errors.

    See you soon.

  • Unable to create a Windows 7 system repair disc

Hi, I see a lot of posts on this topic on the internet, and sometimes, people seem to be able to find a solution by uninstalling specific software, etc., but there seems to be a generic instability. I have a new installation of windows 7 64-bit, fully updated, but am unable to create a repair disk through the normal channels (maintenance, backup & restore, or directly in the command prompt). They seem to everyone to start the same program, that is not instantly with the message "ERD of Microsoft Windows has stopped working" - a shaded box indicates the dialog to select a drive, is nothing to do with the output device, but immediately an error. I guess I can create a disc by various ways of downloading, but Microsoft is not possible to debug the issue? -It is very unacceptable to have no indication as to what went wrong. I see other people have provided extensive debugging information, but as far as I can see no expert never responded with an analysis of these data, except to the list of ordinary forms of the program to failure!

When you select the option to create an ERD, the first window should allow you to select the destination dvd player. Are saying you that you do not get it right? Its actually under control panel > system and security > backup & restore

Also, I guess you want to tell your restore disk of PC makers, from the hidden restore partition to create. If this is the case how do you create the recovery disk depends on the manufacturer of the PC, this isn't an option of victory

  • Unable to create a windows password journal

    Hey guys,.

Today, I tried to create a Windows log password for my windows pc 8. So I went parameter > change computer > user >... and their I found under the sign of option change your password - create a photo password and others.

Since I found no option to CREATE a PASSWORD I entered to change your password and...

But I have no password to log on windows...! SO where is or what is the current password? As far as I know I'd never put any password to log or something else! No idea how difficult this mess and create a password for my security windows guys?

The account is local and not connected to microsoft.

    Two things.

    • Given that the box has NOT been checked, then someone has put a password on your computer and they disabled this box, which is the cause of this problem together.  If someone has used your computer, you should totally check with them, because they were that as the password.

      and

    • When you start mode without failure, you can reset the password if you log in with the account administrator on the login screen.  See step highlighted below:

If there is no administrator account on the system, you can start safe mode to access the built-in Administrator account.  Since this fail-safe account, you can force - reset your account password.

    1. Press + I to display the menu of charm.
    2. Click the Power Options icon, and then hold down the SHIFT key while you click the Restart option. Keep now shift until the screen shows it restarts.
    3. On the first screen that appears, select troubleshooting, and then select Advanced Options. Finally, choose the boot settings and click Restart.
    4. On the next screen, press the number 4 to choose Safe Mode.

Now that you are in safe mode, you can use the backup Administrator account built for perform you a necessary recovery. Built in Administrator account should not be used for any other purpose, or it is not available in such situations when you need it.

    1. On the login screen, click on the arrow icon, and then select the administrator account (do not use your own account here).
    2. After the Safe Mode boot, press on + W and open the control panel / user accounts.
    3. Select manage another account, and then select the account you want to switch to an administrator account. You can also use the option change password here to reset the password of the other account.

When finished, restart the computer normally.

You can try to install the version SQL NATIVE drivers that ARE 64-bit.  That could help.

  • How to create a family on Windows Vista Edition system repair disc?

I can't find how to on Windows Vista Home Edition to create a startup disk. How can I do this? Thank you!

Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

  • I have a Pavilion dv6 3123c Windows 7 64-bit recovery disc?

I have a Pavilion dv6 3123c l 64-bit of Windows 7, which began to stop spontaneously. I took it and he was working on and it seemed to work a little better, but would still be closed when you try to view the video. I got a new laptop for Christmas, but I wanted to return it to the factory settings to see if that solve problems and still usable. Whenever I try to run the system recovery it stops in the middle of the procedure. I can't find online for this particular system recovery disks. There are all the other drives I could use or any other option for this return to the factory settings

Try a HP partner. The price is expected to be on the same $30,00 USD + - $ 5. I tried the link that I provided to the partner of HP and he shows them as the set for $27.00.

  • Windows files have been damaged. Do I need a Vista 32 bit repair disc?

    Hello

Our laptop has recently screwed up by a 'technician' and I managed to get it working again, but it seems that some windows files have been damaged or corrupted.

I did the sfc/scannow, and he has repaired some but said that some are not repairable and I tried workaround renaming on these files and it did not help.

In the end, I think that the best option would be to use the 'fix' that I used with previous computers but this laptop had the OS pre-installed.

I tried to use the option via F8 startup repair and, once again, it seems have suffocating somrthing but yet, there seems to be having trust damaged or missing.

I looked on the web of th for repair dics and I'm not sure that those that you can download and burn it to a DVD/CD are what I need as they seem to refer to commissioning repair function rather than in "repair mode" full I thought I had used previously.

Can someone give me advice on how to do it (without return the laptop to factory settings) to try to fix / replace these files corrupt / missing?

Yes, I'm trying to see if someone has a 32 bit Vista DVD disc and I'll try to use it to get the repair feature, but like I said nobody has this disc I know.

Will just persevere with the question and if it gets really bad enough to return to the factory settings.

Wait a minute, please! Order in which you have installed/reinstalled the Flash Cards Support utility and value added package? It would be interesting to know what you did exactly.

I used the following to this problem repair order:
I uninstalled the Flash Cards Support utility and then added value package. I did a restart and cleaned the system using CCleaner. A restart more and I installed the package value first and Flash then cards support utility. Now, I've done the last restart and the FN keys started working!

It is important to install the new versions for Windows 7!
This means that cards Flash Utility version 1.63.0.4 and 1.2.34_64 version VAP Support. I founded both on the Web from Toshiba site :)

While using my laptop it is stopped and tried to restart, but was unable to do so.  When I first turn on the HP splash screen will appear and then freeze.  If I turn it off and then turn on the HP splash screen appears and then the screen turns white with the exception of a cursor blinking in the upper left corner.  I can access the BIOS and run all the system diagnostics indicate no problems.  When I first bought the laptop I did a disc that I had to label as 'Windows 7 64-bit repair disc'.  At the start of this disc, it says that Windows is loading and I finally gave different recovery options, but so far none of them doesn't seem to work.  HP Recovery gives me the opportunity to use the Microsoft System Restore. It will tell the laptop has been restored successfully, but the results are the same, a frozen HP splash screen or the splash screen and then the curors flashing on a white screen.

  • How can I convert a true 32-bit windows 7 64 - bit windows 7?

I bought lenovo laptop with windows 7 last 6 months before, but at the time of purchase I didn't was not a 64 bit OS. I later found out it's 32-bit operating system. My setup is processor Intel i5 with 4 GB of RAM. Due to the 32 bit OS, I am unable to use lots of RAM (usable RAM is 2.99 GB).
Is there any change the 32-bit windows 7 OS for windows 7 64 bit OS.

Please let me know if this is possible. Waiting for your response.

You will need to contact Lenovo and request a set of 64-bit recovery disc, they could practice small shipping and handling.

You will need to do a clean install, there is no place on the way to upgrade Windows 7 32 bit to 64 bit.

Using the disk of 64-bit Windows 7, install Windows 7 Windows Easy Transfer Utility from the DVD (to find it, simply navigate to x:\support\migwiz, "x:" is the name of your hard drive. (In this case, you will see a collection of files, the important"that you must search for and double-click is 'migsetup'.) run it and create a DAMP (Windows Easy Transfer file), if you have an external hard drive, you can access it later when you perform a clean install of Windows 7 64-bit disk so you can stored there.

Once you have done this, just do a clean install of Windows 7 64 bit disc. In Windows 7 64 bit disk, start Windows Easy Transfer, follow the wizard screen, tap on which is stored the WET file (external hard drive) and it will restore your personal files and settings. Reinstall the applications needed.

If Lenovo is unable to provide a set of 64-bit recovery disc, you simply buy a retail upgrade license and use.

My PC running the 32-bit version or 64-bit Windows?

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/find-out-32-or-64-bit

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/installing-and-reinstalling-Windows-7

Windows 7 64 bit comes in handy when you need to deal with at least 4 GB of RAM or more. Windows 7 32 bit can use up to 3.2 GB of RAM. Because the address space of memory is much larger for 64-bit Windows, this means that you need two times more memory than the 32-bit Windows to accomplish some of the same task, but you are able to do much more, you can have more apps open, do things like run a virus scan in the background it will affect the performance of your system. 64-bit Windows 7 is safer too, malicious code cannot easily infiltrate it, drivers are more reliable because they must be signed before it can work with 64 bit Windows 7.

Regarding compatibility, you need device drivers 64-bit hardware devices, you may have. In addition, there is no 16-bit subsystem in Windows 7 64-bit, which means, your applications must be 32-bit only, not 16-bit Installer or programs uninstaller.
